Summary
Franklin’s parents decided to take him and the rest of the Future Foundation on a ride through the cosmos for a chunk of his formative years, which was, without doubt, a pretty amazing way to grow up.
Except…there are some things that didn’t really prepare him for, like being dumped for the afternoon with 1 (or 2)(or 3) uncle(s) he barely remembers and who clearly didn’t get the memo that Franklin isn’t 9 anymore. Lucky for him, being part of the Fantastic Four means there’s usually enough big distractions to keep your mind off the little things.

“I was thinking,” Hayden says slowly, carefully, “that it might be nice to add Lily to the WAG group chat? He couldn’t come to events or anything still, and he’d have to go by Lily, but it might be… nice? A way for him to— to be a part of things.”
Jackie sits back in her seat, taking a sip of coffee as she considers her husband’s proposal.
It wasn’t a terrible idea. It’d involve lying to all the other WAGs, but Jackie wasn’t too bothered by that. If Shane ever decided to come out, they would either understand or they wouldn’t—a line that would probably pretty closely mirror those who would be okay with Shane being gay and those who wouldn’t. And those who wouldn’t—well, fuck them anyway.
“That does sound like it might be nice,” Jackie finally says, smiling when Hayden immediately sits up straighter at her approving words.
“Yeah?” Hayden checks anyways.
“Yeah,” Jackie says.
Or, despite his refusal to let her add him to the WAG group chat, Jackie manages to quickly befriend Shane’s boyfriend. It takes longer for her to understand exactly what that means.

Rei said nothing for a long moment. Then:

Rei's casual confession sends Kazuki's mind reeling, their domestic peace suddenly charged with unspoken tension.
