    Eugene trusts Rapunzel, don’t get him wrong. It’s just that he’s worried Rapunzel’s trying so hard to make up for what happened with Cassandra that she may not be thinking clearly.

    So, Eugene has enlisted Lance’s help in tailing Varian. He wants to believe that the kid has changed, but more than that, he doesn’t want to get stabbed in the back again.

    Ultimately, they see what they expect: Varian skulking about the Capital, looking shifty, keeping to the shadows.

    But something’s not quite right...
