“So, uh,” Ren starts, shoving his hands into his pockets so that Akechi won’t notice how sweaty his palms have gotten. “I was thinking that we could watch a DVD or something? I’ve got The X Folders rented right now. It’s a sci-fi mystery drama. Not sure if that’s your style, but I thought it might be fun to see if we can solve the cases faster than—”
“Amamiya-kun,” Akechi interrupts, deadpan, his voice pitched a full octave lower than his usual register. His eyes darken almost menacingly beneath the soft curve of his lashes, and Ren’s blood all but runs cold. “Why are you still playing coy with me?”

Summary
Thanatos is mellow, loving, wanting for nothing but to make Zagreus feel good. He’s all nectar sweet kisses and tender caresses, gradually overwhelming Zagreus with that delicate, dulcet intimacy and leaving him unambiguously sated, even as Thanatos aims to drag out every second that they share before his duty calls him away. Zagreus, too, intuitively thrives on such decadent trysts, but sometimes he just needs an extra little nudge to remind him of that fact, a steady hand convincing him to play along at Thanatos’s pace.

You’re about to stand and ask for a refill when a man plops himself down at your table, and you take a moment to simply look at him in confusion, raising a brow at the manner in which he lounges so laxly back in the chair that sits opposite you.
He fits in well with the dusty atmosphere, you think as your gaze flicks from the frayed edges of his hat to the faded red of his serape. He’s charmingly rugged and his eyes are lively and bright, and overall he strikes you as rough around the edges, but he holds himself proudly nevertheless, a fact that comes off as somewhat naïve for someone who looks as though they’d walked straight out of an old horse opera.

Summary
Thanatos never would’ve thought of himself as prone to developing an oral fixation, and yet he just can’t help but dwell on the way that the corners of Zagreus’s mouth always seem to quirk up into a heart-melting smile at the sight of Thanatos, or the way that Zagreus runs his tongue slowly through the seam of his lips when he’s hard at work, pouring the entirety of his concentration into battle. The way that he absentmindedly licks up the coppery flecks of blood that are often smeared across his flesh, and the way that he unintentionally tempts Thanatos into wanting to taste him by extension.

Your pulse doesn’t pound the hardest when you’re ducking behind crumbling walls, and your stomach doesn’t drop the fastest when your hands are shaking as you point and shoot. No, the shadows of death cut deepest when you’re curled up on the shower floor, the tile around you as wet and slick as the crimson flowing from your veins. You make a conscious effort not to overthink such moments, but it scares you, sometimes, when you realize just how much you thrive off the bite of honed metal.

Summary
You jump only slightly when you’re embraced from behind, as the slow approach of footsteps had been exceedingly quiet, yet there nonetheless, acknowledged at most as a lingering waltz in the shallows of your subconscious. Hanzo could've very easily snuck up on you for real, but even walking normally as he was when he’d approached you, he'd been silent, too silent, and it’s enough to make you feel as though he's never quite tangible until he allows himself to be.
But this time it’s undeniable, bittersweet, even, how overwhelmingly present he is as his hands find the edges of your hips, his chest pressing warm into your back. He’s so close now, so genuine, and your heart swells at the realization that his touch holds none of the uncertainty you’ve ended up growing accustomed to. He still struggles with intimacy, and has for as long as you’ve known him, but this time the contact is definite. This time his closeness fills you with affection rather than commiseration.

The way you toy with him is agitating at best and humiliating at worst, but he doesn’t quite refuse to admit to himself that he likes it, loves it, even. He only plays at dismissal, as though the pretense of such a reprieve would somehow allow him to enjoy you more easily, fully and at your mercy, without having to sacrifice so much of his dignity for a mere taste of pleasure.
The fact that he can’t seem to have them both when you’re at stake really boils his blood.

Truthfully, it feels like a dream. Jack moves so perfectly against you that it almost scares you when you think about the way that he draws gasp after gasp out of you like you’re helpless under the steady rock of his hips, the way that each easy thrust of his causes your core to bubble hotter and hotter with tension and lust. He overwhelms you so slowly, pushes into you so carefully that you almost ache for something more, something rough enough to make you forget about the fluidity of his body as it glides against your own.
