“Hyunjin, get me a fucking screwdriver right now.”
The dark haired man looks from the hybrid to the cat. Minho’s already moving, closing all the windows and curtains in the room.
“What? Why?”
“That’s a fucking hybrid and that collar is keeping them from turning.”
Hyunjin’s brain stops and crashes. He looks back at Goldie, who’s trembling on the couch, afraid and with wide eyes. A hybrid? That seems impossible but now that he thinks about it, it makes so much sense. How it seemed like the cat understood him, how it was so well behaved when he gave it a shower and how it had comforted him when he was distressed.
There’s a soft meowl and he’s moving before he thinks of it, he falls to his knees in front of the couch, looking at those intelligent chocolate eyes. How could he be so stupid?
“It’s ok, no one’s going to hurt you. We’re going to help.”
