Summary
Sabrina grew up as the coddled youngest child, destined for the healers. Only for her parents’ choices to lead to a fiery death and for her to spend six years under the care of General Sorrengail. She learned to break bones instead of mending them and how to take lives instead of saving them. She crosses the parapet in her dead sister's leathers with a rebellion relic on her arm and a plan: survive, bond a dragon, keep Violet Sorrengail breathing. Simple enough, except nothing about Basgiath is simple, and Sabrina has never quite managed to stop caring about people in a place that treats caring as a liability.
But a certain onyx eyed Wingleader from her past might complicate matters, especially as when they’re pulled closer together, the lines between loyalty, desire and survival begin to blur.
