'If you don't shut up and let me do it, I'll pound you into a wall,' Christian retorts, throwing another glance over his shoulder.
It's a joke, a threat and a promise all rolled into one. Syed stares at him as he exhales his amusement, nods, and turns away again.
Inhaling sharply, Syed says, 'Do it then.'
