Looking at the corpse of his beloved, Childe, Zhongli cant stand the idea he let it get this bad; let him slip from his hands; let him get so hurt he's now lying near death. Zhongli faces the mortal limitations of his body and how it handles guilt, regret, and worse of all grief in varying stages. His mortal body and decorum now battling his conflicting power that resides deep within his chest, he now has to move in lift finding a way to mix both and live normally. A stupid thought really, normal was wherever that boy wasn't, and he'd hate to be that.

✦ Kaveh's day was miserable.. He's been getting more and more commissions, and although that should be a good thing, it doesn't help when work is just piling up on him! He's been stressed out of his mind the past week, unable to sleep, scribbling on the papers until he passes out or it's time to get up and make breakfast to continue the day and the suffering…
He had just finished a meeting with one of the customers who apparently "Hated this!" And "a child could have done better", Kaveh scoffed while walking back home… well, not technically home, it was never his home, was it?... No. He broke his train of thought, not ready to have a breakdown in the middle of the road. It was getting dark, the skies were getting grey and the wind started to get colder and colder..
He felt a small shiver, hopefully he wouldn't get a cold.. Well luck was never on his side anyway.
