Summary
Shane and Ilya are celebrating 20 years of marriage by going on a holiday to Hawaii. While flying there, their plane crashes and in their last dying moments, they each realise that if they could go back in time, they'd change everything. Destiny intervenes and lets them make those choices. The only problem? They both have a different idea of what their future would be like and both of them don't know that the other has also returned.
For the people that have read my previous stories, know that this will probably be a very long ride as I do not have any control over the stories that appear in my head. Tags will be updated along the way.
This is a story about falling in love again, inspired by 'everything is romantic' Alina Kay's version.

Summary
This thing that they have—whatever the hell it is—it’s good. It’s easy. It feels like the only thing keeping Ilya afloat sometimes.
He can’t let it get to a place where it’s more than just a good, convenient fuck and some fun teasing in between. Even if sometimes, in brief moments of tenderness, it already feels like it’s more than that. Or at least like it’s something that can be, if they just let it.
But they don’t. They can’t.
Although sometimes, Ilya does find himself giving in to the urge to look at Shane just a little bit longer, to let his touch be just a little bit gentler, more reverent, than what it would be for something as casual as they claim this to be—albeit sparingly.
Sometimes, just for a moment, he lets himself indulge. He lets some of that affection bleed out of him because he feels like he’ll implode if he doesn’t.
But he always catches himself before it can linger.

Summary
Shane speaks slowly. “Being with you … is emotional for me.”
Ilya takes in breath. Shane’s life is better now, and sleeping with Ilya again probably makes him think of the sad times before he met Rose. Okay, Ilya can roll with that. He can give Shane a good enough time that he forgets the negative memories he associates with Ilya. He voices this: “I will take care of you.”
Silence. But Shane still hasn’t run away, which isn’t nothing.
Instead of publically breaking up, Shane and Rose continue a fake relationship. (Temporary) Heartbreak for Ilya and Shane ensues.

Summary
When Shane Hollander hears Ilya Rozanov call him "Shane" after years of refusing to call him anything but that, his world shifts. He runs from Ilya and himself. He meets Rose at a party, and they start to date. In this universe, they don't break up before the All-Stars Game, so she comes along and meets Ilya, who is tangled in a family mess, haunted by the words of his father and brother every day. Shane realises that he is stuck in the 2014 night in Vegas, holding against Ilya that they didn't kiss, while Ilya is convinced Shane's life doesn't deserve the mess that follows his. So, the two continue to fight with each other and themselves, while an invisible thread keeps pulling them towards each other. There is angst, and a lot of yearning so be prepared, Loons!
