Set a month after getting out of the circus
Jax is getting back on his feet. He took a job he swore he would never work again. He finally had his own place, no more annoying roommates, but he still felt like he would never adjust to life outside the circus.
But all of that changes one day when someone he never expected to see again, much less this soon, walks into his job
One by one, day by day, he starts to feel like maybe he can adjust.
