Summary
A heathy communication rewrite starting at Chapter 21 of TWK (Taryn and Locke's wedding).
A relatively small act of honesty and trust sends Jude and Cardan down a different path. Flirting and pining ensue.
“Do not go to bed alone tonight.”
He tilts his head and raises his eyebrows. “Is that— ” but I interrupt before he can finish the thought.
“Think of it as a sincere and urgent request.”
“If I didn’t know better, it would sound like you care for me.” A small smile creeps on his lips.
“It’s a good thing you do know better,” I say. His smile remains, but his eyes narrow at me. “Your death would cause me a headache and I am quite busy.”
“Very well. Do you have any recommendations?”Formally "This Feels Like a Date." The fic has evolved a lot and the old title hasn't made sense since chapter 6.

Just as the title suggests. Tensions are always crackling between the races, this is nothing new, but its been years now and even more intense as the young Prince from the Seelie Realm was lost to them. Meliorn has never been the same since. Just what happened over the years and is it possible that the young Prince is not lost forever, merely hidden, glamoured and protected in another 'world' and done so without realisation from a very powerful warlock. (My Summary is terrible)
