Sam and Dean follow a lead that points to a ghost haunting the beach houses of Santa Barbara. They come into the station and meet the department's psychic, who is somehow simultaneously the goofiest and most observant guy either of them have ever met. Psychic powers or not, the absolute brains on their temporary ally coupled with his "normal" but absolutely bonkers case record makes for the Winchester's wildest case yet. And this includes their side-case of stopping the literal apocalypse.

What if things had happened differently at the end of Talismans?
Walter was slouched forward ever so slightly. His shirt was torn and filthy, slashed open to reveal the dark edges of forming bruises and dried blood. His neck, like the rest of his visible flesh, was adorned with a halo of molten tones and finger prints, like someone had held their fingers at his throat for longer than the minute earlier.
The rebel held a gun to Walter’s head and threatened to shoot, and the younger man looked almost accepting.
Cabe could swear he’d never been in a more terrifying situation in his entire life.
In which Walter and Cabe are captured by rebels, and the agent finds out just how far the genius is willing to go for him.

Unfortunately, Nelson Murdock and Page get caught in the middle of it.
Along the way The Avengers grow to care for their new lawyers, even growing worried for their blind, seemingly always injured new friend.
Or, the Avengers hire Nelson Murdock and Page Attorneys at law, while they’re working the case the Avengers start caring abt the three of them. Then they notice Matt keeps getting hurt and showing up to work injured and they get concerned. They get even more concerned when they find out he has a boyfriend.
Meanwhile Matt has zero self preservation skills and Frank is Trying His Best™
