Someone—and Harry might murder them if he ever finds out who—digs something up in old records proclaiming that Harry is not only the Heir of Slytherin as all Parselmouths are, but Lord Slytherin by Right of Conquest after killing the basilisk. Students start coming to Harry for protection and other gifts he can grant them as Lord Slytherin. Harry thinks this Lord business is the stupidest thing he’s ever heard, but all he needs to do is offer them protection and so on without becoming too full of himself. So it’s doable. Hopefully

Summary
Harry is a child. Why is it his job to save the school? Why is it his job to do anything other than attend classes and do homework?
It’s not his job, but it seems Dumbledore is trying to make it Harry’s job.
And well, after living with the Dursleys so long only to end up under the thumb of a brand new manipulator, can Harry really be blamed for running away?
If no one else sees value in Harry, then it’s Harry’s job to find value in himself. That is a job he can live with.

Summary
This is the sequel to "Ricochet" that I promised I would write. It begins with their senior year. In this tale, Veronica will work through the issues Cassidy's rape has brought up. Dick will try to come to terms with what has happened with his brother. Mac will be compelled to help Dick. Logan and Weevil's friendship grows as Logan falls deeper in love with Veronica. The end includes an epilogue that goes several years into the future, so there are no loose ends.
