"Goddamn it, Frank..."
David sighs, head dropped low, hands on his narrow hips.
"Why don't you come to your senses? You've been out - out here for so long. I know you've got your reasons. But these things, they're going to hurt you, and you won't be able to come back from it. You talk about missions, and purpose, but that's not - you're already in a prison, walking through this world all alone. You gotta stop this, man. You gotta let somebody in, before it's too late."
Frank's quiet for a beat. Gives him a long, searching look. Then:
"Lieberman. Are you really quoting Desperado at me right now." It's not a question.
He considers, curly head tilted. "...Paraphrasing. Yes. But that doesn't make the point less valid!"

Fighting Frank has always felt like trying to withstand an inferno: with superpowers added to the mix, Matt is left questioning if there's another way to get through to him.
