Yuuji froze, breath caught in his throat.
All he could do was stare. The words replayed over and over in his head as he searched for the punchline, for the final nail in his coffin. Heat rose to his cheeks, refusing to fade, and the silence that followed nearly felt worse than the entire conversation itself.
“What?” he managed.
Sukuna’s smile was a slow, cruel twist. “You heard me.”
After finding an old video of Sukuna online, Yuuji spends a miserable week trying, and failing, not to think about it. Sukuna helps him not think about it.

Sukuna gets closer to him. “It’s just that what?” He asks. “If you like him, just say it already.”
“I don’t.” Yuuji clenches his fists. It’s you, he wants to say, I like you. He really feels like he is going to throw up.
Sukuna brushes a hand through his hair, the gesture calming Yuuji instantly. His brother has this power over him, to take away any bad feelings, to ground Yuuji. He moves and hugs Yuuji from behind, strong arms wrapped around Yuuji’s torso.
“Yuuji,” his brother whispers. He is too close to Yuuji, so close that Yuuji can almost feel Sukuna’s lips brushing against his skin. “Don’t fall for him.” The words make Yuuji’s eyes widen. “I don’t want to share you with him.”
