Scoffing, Kaveh mumbles, “Is there anything you don’t know, oh great Scribe?”
His hands play with the hem of the shirt before slipping underneath to find the bare skin of Kaveh’s toned abdomen. Alhaitham knows of the stars and the blood-stained past of their land. He knows of legends, myths, and truths. He knows of archons and devils. Alhaitham is a wise man with extensive knowledge on many things and he has never been shy to show it.

“It’s not a sex thing,” Alhaitham interrupts.
“Hmph. We could make it a sex thing,” Kaveh says. “Wise senior Kaveh helps out his poor underclassman with homework. How ever will he pay me for my services?”
“Yes, Kaveh. I too find ancient runes to be an adequate aphrodisiac, but we haven’t the time.”
One unremarkable afternoon, Alhaitham and Kaveh translate some runes.
