Shouldering past the prickle of discomfort at hearing her refer to her father so casually in front of others (a king, how could she, Father would never allow—), Toya rolls the new name over his tongue. “Akito?”
Or, in which An visits the kingdom of Nocturnis for a prospective marriage with its prince, Aoyagi Toya, but he ends up far more interested in the chef she brings along.

“Yes, Akito,” Toya said, adjusting his grip on Akito so he wouldn’t slip. “I’m here.”
Akito squished his cheek against Toya’s shoulder.
“I love you,” he slurred.—

Summary
The old musty storage shed at Kamiyama High is a place no one wants to visit. The building is crumbling by the minute and reeks of dust. Akito’s trip there to return soccer equipment was supposed to be quick and uneventful. But when Toya decides to join him, they quickly realize they might be spending more time there than they planned.
