Shen Qingqiu's never wanted to be a parent before, nor does he know what he's doing with a four (or five) year old suddenly on his hands. But really, who else does the kid in the world have but him?

Zenin Naoya heaves a great sigh, sounding about as bitter as a tiny old man. It’s a comical image, what with his puffy cheeks and big golden eyes.
He's like a sulking cat, Toji thinks.
A sly, conniving cat who will undoubtedly burn this clan to the ground the second he gets his hands on some gasoline.
Toji is almost tempted to get him some.
Naoya is patiently awaiting for the day he'll be able to run away from this shitty family and fade away from the story's even shittier narrative. He counts the years before Zenin Maki is born, marks the months on his mental calendar until Toji leaves, and dreams about the day Gojo Satoru falls silent.
Today, yet again, the heir and future head of the Zenin family is plotting his escape.
