Summary
After the confrontation in the Ministry, Harry had to flee to the Netherlands, where the Lestrange family has a townhouse on the Amsterdam canals. The books they brought with them from the Department of Mysteries offer no new information and their quest becomes more dire as they are pursued not only by the Order of the Phoenix but also by Voldemort who has a very different interest in finding Harry.
This is the sequel to a Change of Feeling.

Harry is left in the dark by his friends. After a couple of weeks without a word from the magical world, Harry receives a letter from a R. Singulier. After this letter, Harry finally starts to think for himself and the world he is in. Because what does he know about the Dark cause and what does he know about himself and his friends? Are they really on Harry's side, or are they fair weather friends?
Follow Harry with a start of a new friendship and maybe a change in feelings.
I am not a native speaker. This work is my first work in English. There is no Beta-reader. So please be gentle.

“I can say with certainty that it is not possible, by any transfer, to become a Parselmouth. The reason is very simple. To be able to speak with serpents, a deformation of the mouth is necessary. Parselmouths have a ‘looser’ tongue, which is much more agile than normal humans. As a result, the language cannot be learned, wizards like me cannot make the sounds physically. The literature is very vague about the anatomy of Parselmouths, but it is unambiguous about the basis: you must be born with the right attributes, otherwise you cannot read, speak or understand the language.”
Ok, right, so. To start off with, I absolutely love this line :
"Being able to control the Dementors doesn't mean I would abuse that power, it just means I have a responsibility to use it for good."

There were very few things in Harry Potter's life that he was certain of. There was one absolute certainty though; he'd felt it in his bones for as long as he could remember. He, Harry Potter, was dead. The living people around him might not believe, but the dead sure did. Oh well, it doesn't impact his life much. Besides, it's nice to get help with his schoolwork from his parents.
