“I mean, did you come with a date?”
Tenya's heart freezes, and if he hadn’t been gripping the drinks in his hand, he would have surely dropped them. Shouto looks at him as if to ask him what to say, but when Tenya bites his lips in uncertainty, Shouto misinterprets and turns to Utsushimi and says, “No. I came alone.”

It was supposed to be a fun rendezvous between Shouto and Tenya at Yaoyorozu’s fundraiser gala, but when Utsushimi Camie flirts with Shouto, Tenya is conflicted whether to give into his jealousy or to keep their relationship hidden.

Summary
The constant moving around and general lack of real connections were never great. But being stranded in Lawrence, forced to stay in place until his dad comes for him, is worse. Especially once someone starts hunting him.
Going to the police is in every conceivable way a terrible plan. Accepting personal help from a severely overinvolved cop is quite possibly an even worse one. Above all because Dean is up to his neck in illicit activities and police-related trauma. But maybe, just once, it would be nice to have someone look out for him.
