Summary
The dinner party is - the Doctor has to admit - the perfect cover to accomplish their goal: to steal back a vortex manipulator from what can loosely be termed the wrong hands. Yet there is one tiny, insignificant detail that he's forgotten to mention to Clara about their invitation: she will be playing his beautiful, dutiful wife for the duration of the evening's events.
Once her anger has abated, she finds herself getting into character with a level of enthusiasm that surprises them both, and everything seems to be going smoothly. Or at least, it is, until it comes to the after-dinner entertainment...

Logically, Clara knew that going back to Coal Hill was a terrible plan: it was the first place the Time Lords would think of looking for her, not to mention the fact that everyone there was convinced she was dead. But somehow she found herself stood in front of the memorial wall, looking up at her own name and ruminating on her supposed death. It's a shame, really, that her former colleague won't let her do so in peace.
