The current status of the filters is that the database changes required for the new search and browse system to work have been moved into place on the Archive. The rest of the code is currently being subjected to full-scale testing by our volunteer staff, and is additionally scheduled to be load-tested shortly.
The length of the testing phase is very dependent on whether any major bugs are uncovered—this is a big code change, so it’s important that we make sure it’s not going to break anything on the Archive. So, I’m afraid I can’t give you any sort of hard estimate, but we’re cautiously optimistic that it won’t be much longer.
