Summary
It's 1993 in Los Angeles, California and Jared Padalecki is going to save the world. After spending his teen years in the Church of Scientology, he gets recruited for the elite Sea Organization, the paramilitary clergy tasked with "clearing the planet" of Ritalin and homosexuality.
Jared's unwavering commitment to the Church, however, is thrown into question aboard the training ship MV Freewinds, when he starts to fall for one of the Sea Org's Action Chiefs: the mature and enigmatic Commander Jensen Ackles.
Amidst a crackdown on "Suppressive Persons," will the Commander and the Cadet be able to keep their illicit relationship a secret? Or will the Church stop at nothing to silence them?

Summary
At eighteen, city kid Jared Padalecki thinks he's got life all figured out — partying and pill-popping all over Washington, D.C. without consequence. But after a stint in juvie and an escalating OxyContin addiction, a judge sends Jared to purgatory, otherwise known as Jacob's Ladder, a farm-based addiction recovery centre in small town West Virginia. Jared has no intention of getting sober, of course. So he shoves a bag of pills in his pocket and plans to self-medicate through the next few months like a prison sentence.
What he doesn't bargain for, however, is how much the mature, ranch hand Jensen Ackles — ex-military and Jared's sober coach — is going to take him to task. And after getting off on the wrong foot, he swears Jensen's mission is to make his time on the farm a living hell. Besides, it's not like Jared's going to learn anything from bucking hay, brushing horses, or fraternizing with a bunch of rednecks from Bumfuck, Nowhere.
As he'll discover the hard way, at rehab on a ranch, not all roads lead to recovery.

When Jared was young he knew that when he grew up he wanted to be an artist,he wanted to make people happy. So when he gets the chance to attend the best Fine Arts College in the U.S he jumps, especially when he finds out Jensen Ackles is teaching. He has marveled at the mans art since he was a teen but when he finds out there's more to Jensen's art than what meets the eye his world crumbles.

Summary
Keep your head down. Work hard. Never wear a hat in the wheelhouse or your luck will take a nosedive. This is the rookie advice that Jared gets in his first few days as a deckhand on board an Alaskan crabbing boat, in between catnaps and ice storms, twenty-foot seas and more near misses than he really wants to count. He also learns early mornings followed by late nights aren't enough to kill a person, but ten minutes in below freezing waters might be, and that the biggest favor he can do for himself is to try and stay on the captain's good side.
Jensen rose quickly through the ranks to become one of the youngest captains the fleet has ever seen, but he has been around long enough to know that no one ever gets through a season without a few battle scars. It's Jared's quick wit, sarcastic mouth, and a particular sort of point-of-no-return look about him that makes Jensen hire Jared on a whim, reminds Jensen a little of himself fifteen years ago. There's nothing better than watching the morning break over the bow of the ship - Jensen just needs to keep Jared alive and well long enough for the kid to figure that out for himself.
