Summary
Welcome to my AU kicking off in the 80s, inspired by photos of Connor with longer hair that sent me on a trip down memory lane featuring some of my girlhood crushes. I could just so easily see a long-hair Ilya grinning at a scruffy Shane in a battered Foreigner shirt, and here we are. We first meet them in 1983, when they have been playing hockey together at the University of Minnesota for a bit. We will follow them until 2003.

If anyone can tell him if the long list of “Prohibited Items” he’d been sent in his email a few days ago is just standard practice for big shoots, it would be Yuna Hollander.

Hollander stiffens, almost imperceptibly, and Ilya tilts his head, just slightly, confused, wondering if he’s stumbled somewhere unexpected.
