Summary
Dean Winchester doesn’t like chocolate. It’s too sweet, too bitter, too something. But when the new barista at his local coffee shop accidentally hands him a hot chocolate instead of his usual coffee—then refuses to give him a refund—Dean grudgingly drinks it. Turns out, it tastes a hell of a lot better when it’s made by a blue-eyed barista who insists he “made it with love.”
Now Dean keeps finding excuses to stop by the shop… and Cas keeps “accidentally” making him hot chocolate.
A story about stubborn men, soft smiles, and falling in love one wrong drink at a time.

Summary
“If you’re talking about the time you ate all those souls…you had to be stopped, Cas.”
“I agree,” Castiel shrugged, “But would you have tried to kill me if I was human and had caused such chaos?”
A muscle in Dean’s jaw rippled, “We don’t deal with humans, that’s what the cops are for!”
“Dean…” Sam admonished softly, stricken.
Dean blinked, stunned by his own words. “I mean…I didn’t mean –“
Castiel swallowed, closing his eyes against a lance of pain in his chest that had nothing to do with the binding or the sigil. “Yes, you did. And its true, in any case.” Castiel gave him an out, but the words stung. He wasn’t human. Which meant he was – in a hunter’s mind – a creature.
An animal.
Something inside him felt like it was icing over...
_________
Castiel is a seraph and a soldier. He doesn’t know how to be anything else. But knowing Sam and Dean Winchester has changed him in ways no angel has been changed before.
Not a human, not an angel. All he knows is what he’s not. When an ancient spell threatens to strip him of the free will he worked so hard for, Castiel has to re-learn what it means to be an angel, not just a Warrior of God.

Summary
Humans are fragile, weak. In all his eons of existence, Castiel can be sure of this fact. This is also a fact– that if anyone could ever handle him, it would be Dean Winchester, hardened and irreverent, misguided and in desperate need of education. Castiel has never desired, never before now, the whispered accounts of humans and angels having no more meaning to him than myths. But here desire is, and he’s succumbed to it– Dean Winchester, the single point burning on a blacked out map of the universe.
Or, angels naturally cannot resist humans. Castiel is forced to come to terms with his obsession with Dean Winchester.
