Summary
They start as a clash. Two people on opposite sides of every instinct, every judgement, every choice. Somewhere along the way, that opposition becomes proximity. Proximity becomes understanding. Understanding becomes something harder to name.
Nothing about it is clean. There are things left unsaid, things taken back too late, and things neither of them ever really forget. But there is also patience where there used to be conflict, and softness where there used to be certainty.
What begins as necessity slowly turns into habit. Habit turns into choice. And choice, repeated enough times, starts to look like something permanent.
In the end, it isn’t about how they met, or how they survived each other. It’s about what they decide to build when neither of them walks away.

Summary
Surprisingly, Flambae doesn’t mind the newest dispatcher for Z-Team. Robert is a snarky asshole normie, but he’s smart as shit, actually seems invested in the job, and is all too willing to flirt back whenever Flambae can’t keep his mouth shut.
Meanwhile Flambae’s arch nemesis, the infamous villain Mecha-Man with his wet freak sidekick, continues to make his life a living hell.

Summary
Robert doesn't know who he is outside of the suit. He feels like there's nothing for him to live for after the explosion, and he has a bad habit of carelessly throwing himself into danger, passively hoping he'll kick the bucket. His dog, Beef, is the only thing holding him back from doing the unthinkable.
When he starts dispatching for the Z-Team, things start to change as he gets closer to them. They see him struggling and decide to help in the ways they can. He finds a family there that he never thought he'd have.
Meanwhile, Robert is getting especially close to Flambae. He keeps finding himself both dragged and drawn towards him like a moth to flame. He struggles with the guilt of not being able to tell him that he's also Mecha Man while their friendship develops. Oh, and he might be falling for him, too, and that just makes things worse. Can he even hope that things will turn out okay?
