Chapter Text
Okay, before I explain and get into anything else about this fic, I want to say this:
My heart goes out to the victim involved. The entire ordeal was horrific, and Faza’s actions were absolutely disgusting. In no way do I intend to ignore this. I’m extremely thankful towards the wonderful team that put so much work into Project: Eden’s Garden. I’ve been heavily attached to it ever since the prologue released, and it breaks my heart to see someone get hurt in the process, and to see this project fall apart. I intend to write this to admire the potential of the game, and I would like to express my own interpretation after hearing about the events after chapter one.
Now, for this fic, I’m going to say this: I’ve spent all day planning out ideas, and so I’m going to write soon, but not immediately. I intend to make the chapters longer so that there isn’t many chapters in total.
With that said, it will take me some time, especially since I just so happen to be in the middle of exam season. For the first chapter I’m releasing, it will be a while before I do so. I like to stay canon compliant with just about anything I write, so I will do my best. Of course, since the game is unfinished, some things I’ll write could be wonky…but I am trying.
Overall, I will refrain from adding in too much “headcanons” and whatnot. But, keep in mind that some things will be my inferences/my interpretation.
And also, I’m not the best at writing murder cases. Though I’m a huge fan of mystery books, ironically. I will take the time to put some thought into these trials to try and really capture a more detailed version. But bear with me…I’m just one person, and I’m not the brightest, but I will be putting all my effort into the cases.
Lastly, I’d like to warn that I won’t be writing FTEs, since they tend to be extremely detailed about the background of the character (and since we don’t have detailed info about their backstories, despite having a basic rundown for some based off the google drive of the original PJEG plan, I’m not the most comfortable writing them), and it would just take so much time to do in general.
Since this decision is a bit impulsive…I’m not leaving the possibility that I may lose motivation EARLY ON. But I can guarantee that if I really do commit to writing this and continuously posting and planning, I swear I won’t randomly stop.
I probably will not post the next part (which will of course be the first part of ch.2) anytime soon, since I have yet begun writing, and I plan to write a lot. My goal is to make this series longer than basically anything I’ve ever written before, in hopes of getting everything. All the backstories (even though I’m excluding FTEs), character arcs, trials, everything. I really want to be serious about this.
Bear with me, too, I don’t believe I’m the best writer…
