Chapter Text
Jay didn’t want to change school.
But here we are.
He was dressed in his school uniform. Well, not really a uniform. In fact, the school only required you to wear a gray shirt and black pants or skirt, plus any accessories you wanted.
He walked in the gate and he looked up at the school. The white walls gleamed in the sunlight. And the iron statue in the middle of the garden matched perfectly with the lamps near the paths leading to the entrance.
There were people screaming and shouting. Jay clutched the book in his hands as tightly as he could to his chest. And as he approached the entrance his gaze stopped on a boy that was standing in the middle of the path as if he were waiting for someone. AND he was waiting for someone.
He had gray skin and dark hair, apparently it was a voidling (creature, people of the void). He could n’t stay still for more than three seconds. One moment he was looking in the direction of a pine, the second he was checking if his bag was in place.
The boy in question lit up as soon as he saw Jay. He picked up his backpack from the floor and approached the new student who was standing in front of the entrance.
“Hello! My name is Spoke! Welcome to the secondary school of Unstable Universes SMP. You must be the new student right? “
“Urm-”
“Well, what's your main course? Mine is redstone. Don’t reccomend it.”
“I study spear pvp, I think…”
“What! I loved to learn pvp when I was little, you know?”
“…”
“Ok... enough chatting, are you ready to enter the school? Oh, sorry I didn’t mention earlier I will be your guide today!”
“Cool..?”

“And this is the most amazing club of all time! The drama club!” Spoke opened the door that led to a room full of different objects and clothes of different eras.
Jay was surprised to see a person standing in the middle of the room kinda watching his phone. But the reaction of his companion was very different, he looked almost… upset? No astonished was better.
“Mappic?! Aren’t you supposed to be in class?”
“Wha- Spoke?”
At that moment Jay felt very uncomfortable like he was the third dwelling on their date. Spoke grabbed his ‘friend’ clothes and initiated to shake him “First. Why are you here?”
Mappic pushed Spoke away “I didn’t want to go to class! ”
“We we we I’m Mapicc and I don’t want to go to class because I’m lazy.”
“You aren’t in class either, and, are YOU imitating Weembu?!”
“My, my Mapicc, I'm not imitating that peasant. And I’m showing around to Jay after the commission of our great principal.”
“Because you scammed him.” Added Mappic.
“Because I scammed him.”
Silence.
“Dear Jay, I think we should go to the next, this room didn’t go as expected, but the next one will be better.”
Mappic immediately jumped from the floor he was sitting on. “I’m coming with you here is as annoying as staying in class.”
Jay finally after an eon or so, decided to finally speak “Aren’t you skipping class? So getting out wouldn’t be easier for the teacher to see you…?”
“Nah.”
———————————————————————————————————------------------
“Guys i think someone is watching us…” Says Mappic.
“What do you mean?” Responded Jay
“Don’t worry too much there isn’t anyone. They are all in class!” Spoke counters.
The trio was walking toward the gardening club. The hall was completely empty with the only sound as the lively chatting of the three guys. The little demon tail of Mapicc was moving frantically on the back of the boy. The little to no noise in the school didn’t help with the anxiety that two people of the group were feeling.
TUMP TUMP TUMP
“What was that?! There’s definitely somebody!”
“Chill dude there’s no one.”
TUMP TUMP TUMP
“Ok there’s someone…” Spoke affirmed.
“And you’re not worried Spoke?”
“Why should I be?”
TUMP TUMP TUMP
The silence ate away the calm that was in the air. And all the members of the trio were a little anxious
TUMP TUMP TU-
CRACK!
“What was that?” Screamed Jay
“What are you guys doing here?”
The figure that was behind them was a short individual with bright yellow hair and eyes. Behind him there was a majestic (yellow) fish tail. Their face was also very beautiful, but at that moment was painted with a lot of confusion.
He looked like she just came from the infirmary, which explains the bandage that was placed on his left chin. He moved unsteadily, like she’s gonna pass out or something like that.
Mappic jumped at the sound of the voice coming from the individual “God it’s you! I thought it was a teacher.”
“Why would you think that?” questioned the yellow boy.
At which point a woman came out from the same direction as the boy “Zam! Where are you? You just passed out and- what are you doing here?”
“ms... White.”

Spoke and Jay had to return to lessons after the lessons break. Jay didn’t have any friends so he was alone in the canteen, plus Spoke left rumbling something about a fight between someone named Wemmbu and Flame or something.
He found a sit near a corner with barely two people sitting there. ‘This place is oddly silent’ when he was eating an awful sandwich.
People around him were very noisy and they were laughing and screaming but this time he didn’t feel lonely or sad he felt calm, maybe he finally found a place where he belonged…
Maybe-
Nahhh, who was he kidding, school is the most terrible place where he could be in that moment. Home was a lot better.
