Thud, knock.
"N-no, ah, stop it, Soleum, ugh."
Bump, thud.
Go Yeongeun heard a couple more thuds before she made a decision.
She had been hearing these noises over the last few days; they were quite concerning. She didn't want to believe them at first; Kim Soleum was such a nice guy after all, someone she even had a crush on; well, she still has a crush on her, that's not the point. However, she had to give up on her; after all, she wasn't the type to pine after a taken woman, even if the other women seemed to be a bad person. Baek Saheon, that woman always seemed like the type to cheat, or take it out on her girlfriend, the bad girl kind of person you would avoid in high school due to bullying, not the other way around. It just goes to show that you can't just trust people so easily.
Steeling her resolve, she marched over next door and knocked on the door. "Miss Soleum, I know you are in there. Please answer the door." Wait, why was she being polite? There is no need to be polite to a domestic abuser.
Go Yeongeun could hear some muffled thuds and shuffles before the door creaked open. She was met with an unkempt Kim Soleum. Her hair was ruffled as if she had just rolled around moments before, and the shirt seemed to have been hastily put on just before opening the door.
Kim Soleum took a moment to gasp for air, red at the face she looked at Go Yeongeun. "H-hello, Miss Yeongeun, did you hear that? Sorry, we will try to keep it down. We didn't mean to bother you." Kim Soleum gave a few small bows apologetically before waiting for an affirmative response, eager to return to the previous activities.
"No, it's not alright, Miss Soleum. What you are doing is just not right. You can't be doing that, even if your girlfriend has a bit of a bad personality."
"P-pardon?"
"Domestic abuse is not to be taken lightly, Miss Soleum!" Go Yeongeun huffed, getting heated up at the topic.
"W-what?" Kim Soleum is shocked such things were even said to her, "N-no, that's not what's happening at all! I assure you, Miss Yeongeun, it's nothing of sorts." Kim Soleum waves her hands in front of her, frantic at the accusations.
"Then what?" Go Yeongeun raised her eyebrow, crossing her arms, hoping to seem more intimidating, "Let me ask Miss Saheon directly, let me see her!" She puts on her best demanding voice, determined to help Baek Saheon out, even if she dislikes the woman.
"R-right now?" Kim Soleum trails off before nervously glancing behind her.
"Of course! Better now than later!" Go Yeongeun pressed fruther seeing how suspicious Kim Soleum was acting.
Kim Soleum bites her lower lip nervously before seemingly making up her mind, "Alright… But please don't judge, alright? I trust you, Miss Yeongeun, after all, you've been quite accepting of us, thank you for that."
Badump.
'No!' Go Yeongeun chided herself, you can't fall for her charms!
Kim Soleum opens the door before leading Go Yeongeun in, making sure to properly lock the door behind her. A bad move that aroused Go Yeongeun's suspicion even more.
Kim Soleum leads Go Yeongeun to the bedroom before nervously leaving her at the entrance of the room, "Saheon-ie… Um, well… How do I explain this? Miss Yeongeun thought I was a little too rough with you and thought she would check up on you… Um, is it all right if she comes in?"
"Wh-what? C-come in?" Baek Saheon shudders at the thought of being seen by Go Yeongeun, biting her lower lip, not letting the moan escape.
"Miss Saheon? Are you alright?" Go Yeongeun calls out from behind Kim Soleum, still not seeing the scene in the bedroom. Pushing Kim Soleum aside, she pushes her way into the room, "I'm coming in, I'm just here to help, alright?"
"What? No- Agh" Meeting with Go Yeongeun's face, Baek Saheon's mouth went agape, tears forming at the corner of her eyes. Biting down on her tongue, she shivers before releasing.
"Saheon-ie… Did you just-"
"Shut up!" Baek Saheon huffed at Kim Soleum, thoroughly embarrassed at what happened.
"Oh my goodness!" Go Yeongeun covers her eyes before turning away, blushing all the way to her neck. "I'm so sorry, I just heard you exclaiming stop and I still heard noises. I-I just assumed." Her heart was pounding, who knows if it was from the expression Baek Saheon had just made, or the fight or flight mode that was triggered from this scenario.
"Damn right. Now get me out of these ribbons already." Huffing, Baek Saheon demanded, thoughtly embarrassed.
As Kim Soleum helped her girlfriend out, she started explaining. "We have a different word, Saheon-ie is… A bit bratty and tsundere…"
Baek Saheon clears her throat, glaring at Kim Soleum, wanting her to shut up. "She can be quite cute, really."
"Yeah…" Go Yeongeun nodded her head in agreement; that was quite the cute expression.
"What?" Baek Saheon looked at her wide-eyed, not sure if she had heard wrong. Puffing her cheeks out, she turned away, still red. Having the ribbons undone, she scuttles off to the bathroom, pushing past Go Yeongeun, without a word or an apology for pushing her out of the way.
"Um, Miss Yeongeun, is it alright if we talked about this in the living room?" Kim Soleum scratches her head, not sure where to go with this.
"Yeah…" Go Yeongeun was just in an equally embarrassing situation, having made a mistake, and to see such things and having feelings she shouldn't be.
It took a bit, but Kim Soleum sorted it out with the help of Baek Saheon. Go Yeongeun profusely apologized to both before feeling good enough to go back to her apartment.
After a couple of days, she got a knock on her door, an interesting proposal from none other than Baek Saheon. Who would have thought it would come from her and not Kim Soleum; perhaps it was she who made Baek Saheon do it. Considering it, it wasn't a bad proposal; both people made her heart go badump like a shoujo anime, even if one was pretty, but the personality… she decided there was no loss to accepting the proposal. Though one thing, she vowed, that she wouldn't let Baek Saheon take advantage of her, and she would be the one in charge.
