*(Dev's Pov)*
Dev's moth wings shook slightly to remove some water from them since it rained lightly a few minutes ago and they'd gotten wet (which annoyed him since he disnt reallt enjoy his wings getting wet), and audibly sighed as Kier dragged him by his wrist through the jungle. They were making their way home from visiting a jungle temple, with Kier chatting about something as Dev glanced around the forest, nothing interesting as its just green everywhere with hints of browns and greys, and the smell of rain from a few moments ago.
He glanced up when he felt Kier pause, almost bumping into him, he was about to question him before noticing the tail was still. "Kier? What's up?" He questioned as he moved to to stand beside him. Before he looked to where Kier was looking and paused, his eyes widening in shock.
There was a kid- wait, no two kids...lying on the messy wet grass and mud, one reminded him of a demon with the small black horns ans tail, except the fact the kid had black wings like an avian, the inner feathers reminded of a magenta-purple galaxy, it had little specks which reminded him of stars. The kid had long purple hair as well, seeming to reach his back, but it was messy with mud. And Dev couldn't really see the other kid, who seemed younger than the first, since they were covered by the other kid's wings.

(Kier's Pov)
Kier moved quickly, his tail flicking around in alert as he kneeled next to the kids, checking their pulse, which was there...slow but there. He glanced in Dev's direction after hearing the soft crunch of drying leaves behind him, and noticed the jackets in their hands, he'd forgotten they got more jackets from the market from being distracted by the two children who were possibly injured, he couldn't tell.
He nodded at Dev and looked back at the two kids, feeling Dev kneel next to him. And moved to pick up the older kid, pausing once he felt the cool tempature of the kid, most likely an End-demon, though he didn't know since...well..End Demons didn't have wings like an avian. He shook that thought away though as he picked the kid up and put the jacket Dev gave him onto the kid. And watched as Dev picked up the smaller kid, which he now tell was an avian, with colorful feather ranging from green, to cyan, with hints of red and yellow. Though there were white tips to the lowest feathers. The kids wings were small, and folded against his back with smaller wings on the sides of his head, with brown hair that was dirty with mud and wet grass, though he could tell the kid's hair faded to yellow and green at the ends.

Boosfer and Squiddo were quite excited when they arrived back home to their cozy two-story cabin, Boosfer questioning who the two kids were and both him and Squiddo asking if they were their new siblings which Kier said yes to before Dev could reply, which made Dev lightly shake his head in amusement.
It had been a few days since then. They learned the kids didn't know anything besides their ages, and names. The older one was Wemmbu, who was 5, two year younger than Boosfer. And Parrot, the younger kid, was 2, with Squiddo proudly declaring her and Parrot were twins, not allowing anyone to say they weren't,
After a few weeks, they learned both Wemmbu and Parrot were also shapeshifter and mimic hybrids, which scared the shit out of Kier when he was making breakfast, cause he heard Parrot mimic his voice with Wemmbu mimicking Boosfer's while he were standing behind him...he totally didn't jump in fear and land in Dev's arms, what are you talking about... Besides that small incident, it basically became normal to them, with Boosfer and Wemmbu using Wemmbu's abilities to troll other kids, and Squiddo and Parrot having fun seeing what Parrot could shift into.
