I have made the somewhat ambitious choice to write a multiship anthology set within an omegaverse I have created. This will serve as the introductory chapter before leading into our first pair, which will be JoongDunk.

This anthology is not told in strict chronological order.

Some stories take place within the first chaotic hours of The Awakening. Others unfold days or weeks later, as institutions, medicine, and people begin to adapt.

The reading order is intentional and thematic rather than linear. Early stories may reference events that appear “later” in the series, and calmer stories may be set after more volatile ones. This is on purpose, as The Awakening does not happen evenly.

Each fic stands alone, but together they trace how the same moment fractures into very different experiences -- chaos, care, collapse, choice -- depending on who you are and who you’re with.

The Intercontinental Pattaya Resort became an unexpected flashpoint today as a sudden, worldwide biological phenomenon, now referred to as “The Awakening,” struck without warning at approximately 2:12 PM ICT, causing mass confusion, panic, and widespread reports of unprecedented physical and sensory symptoms.

The phenomenon, described by eyewitnesses as a “full-body surge,” a “pressure drop,” or a “global pulse”, has been reported simultaneously across major cities including Sydney, Los Angeles, Moscow, Jakarta, Manila, and Seoul.

 

GMMTV Actors Among First Public Figures Affected

More than ninety performers from one of Thailand’s leading entertainment companies, GMMTV, were present for a scheduled company outing and content shoot at the Intercontinental Pattaya Resort.

Within seconds of the initial pulse, the majority of actors reportedly collapsed or staggered, experiencing sudden temperature spikes, dizziness, or sensory overload. Emergency medical staff on-site scrambled to respond.

"Tha" Sataporn Panichraksapong, CEO of GMMTV, confirmed that all actors were moved indoors for safety and triage.

According to internal reports, the ballroom has been converted into a temporary containment and assessment center. The Ministry of Public Health has dispatched medical liaisons, and the actors are being separated or grouped based on “symptom presentation", after an incident occurred when the entire group gathered post-event. A spokesperson stated:

No official injuries have been reported, though several individuals are said to be experiencing severe emotional and physical distress.
