Work Text:

“Are you sure you’re not going to the party tonight?” Sion asks, burying his nose in the crook of Yushi’s neck, his hands wrapped around Yushi’s front, sneaking inside Yushi’s shirt as he softly rubs Yushi’s stomach, smelling the younger—a weird habit if you ask Yushi, who is currently in front of the mirror, wearing—or trying—to put in his transparent contact lenses.

“I will if I have time, but since Sakuya’s parents are attending a Halloween dinner party, I doubt I can get back early.” Yushi lies. His struggle to put in his contacts, thanks to the giant koala that just won’t get off him, makes him more believable, because he wouldn't have to look Sion in the eyes. He has already memorized that line since last night, he even practiced it in front of the mirror, because he knows he doesn’t know how to lie—especially not to Sion.

Sion whines softly against Yushi’s skin, mumbling a small but I thought we’re gonna match costumes as he bites on Yushi’s skin, and really, Yushi should start studying Sion’s biting fixation because it’s too much. Not that he hates it, in fact, he loves it, he is fucking obsessed with it, he loves how Sion goes clingy—pulling him closer, marking him, claiming him—but now is just really not the perfect time.

After his left contact lens refuses to stick once again, he sighs as he leans away from the mirror before shrugging both his shoulders to get Sion off him. “Can you—can you just back up? I am trying to concentrate here.” Yushi complains, annoyed—not at Sion, obviously, but at the stupid piece of plastic that he needs to put in because they would magically give him a clear vision.

Yushi sees Sion pouting from the reflection of the mirror, and he would find it stupidly cute if not for his ongoing irritation. Sion is being clingy at the wrong time, his contact lenses are being uncooperative, he is hungry, and he is running late for his… makeover.

“Guess I’ll just not go as Killua then,” Sion says, dropping onto his bed and lying on his back as he stares at the ceiling.

Yushi sighs after finally—fucking finally—successfully putting the contacts in, then walks toward Sion, who is still wearing a stupid pout on his lips.

“Hyung, we never even planned on matching in the first place.”

It’s true. They never talked about it. It was purely a coincidence that Yushi planned on going as Gon and Sion as Killua. This is exactly why they hated each other in the first place, they are just so much in sync, which started their whole rivalry.

“Well, I got excited that my boyfriend is dressing up as my partner, but now that you’re not going, I don’t want to wear mine anymore.”

Yushi feels guilty. Really. For lying and for not being able to dress up as Gon. He knows Sion looked forward to this, of course he does. Even he himself had looked forward to it.

Maybe Riku will understand.

Sion, noticing Yushi’s silence, sits up from his bed, only to see Yushi just standing there near the edge of his bed, looking at the floor, biting his lips—a very big sign that he is nervous.

Sion immediately stands up from the bed, feeling guilty.

“Hey, hey… I’m just joking. I’m sorry,” Sion says, hooking his finger under Yushi’s chin, guiding the younger to look at him. “I’m sorry,” he repeats, now wearing a small smile, a genuine one that speaks understanding.

Yushi sighs for the umpteenth time before rising on his toes to give Sion a peck.

“I’ll make up to you, okay?” I’m sorry I had to lie.

Sion grins. “Send my regards to Sakuya.”

“I am not wearing that,” Yushi says the moment he sees the costume hanging neatly on the closet door.

The dress looks pretty. All black, with sleeves laced up to the elbows. Ruffles frame the neckline, drawing attention to the small cutout in the middle that will show a bit of his skin—which he knows will look stupid on him. And the skirt is too short—well, not that short, but still too short for his liking. The fabric is soft and slightly shiny, with light layers underneath that make it flare when moved. A black ribbon wraps around the waist with a silver buckle shaped like a star, and a pointed hat with a dangling star charm rests beside it. It looks like something straight out of an anime. At this point, he’d be cosplaying.

And there’s the wig. Two of them, hanging right beside the dress. One is short and blonde, and the other is long and curly—deep scarlet, something he never imagined himself wearing.

“Riku, please tell me there’s another option for me to choose from because I am not wearing this.”

Riku, to Yushi’s horror, shakes his head. “My sister only brought two. Well, unless you want the maid outfit instead, sure…” Riku says as he opens his wardrobe and pulls out the maid costume he is talking about, which is absolutely much worse than the witch outfit because it is completely backless and in baby blue. And it is much shorter too. And… is that cat ears? How can Riku even wear that thing?

Yushi can feel a headache coming.

“If that’s too short on me, I am wearing high-thigh socks.” Yushi says, looking back at the first option.

“No need,” Shotaro says as he pulls something out from his bag. “Here, wear this instead. This actually goes with that outfit.”

Yushi opens the pack Shotaro gives him and he can’t help but gape when he realizes what it is.

Fishnet stockings.

“You are kidding me. Please tell me you are kidding me.” Yushi says as he looks at Shotaro, then at Riku, then back at Shotaro again.

“I’m sure it’s not that bad. Try it on! Try it on!” Riku says, shoving the costume into Yushi’s hands before pushing the younger into the bathroom.

It is not like Yushi has a choice at this point, so he lets himself get pushed into the bathroom until the door shuts behind him. He holds the dress out at arm’s length, staring at it for a moment before sighing, recalling how he even got here.

He is really not supposed to do this. In fact, he should be dressing up as Gon right now, doing matching costumes with his boyfriend while everyone will assume they are in their rivalry again.

It's all because of a stupid bet he lost. Or they lost, since Riku is also with him on this, hence the maid outfit.

You need to cross-dress during Halloween. That's the dare.

He can’t even tell Sion, he is far too embarrassed about it. That is why he told him he would be babysitting tonight—so Sion would not notice him at the party. Hopefully, it will work, because Yushi can’t even imagine Sion’s reaction once he sees him in… this.

Yushi looks at the costume one last time and sighs.

Let’s just get this over with.

Minutes pass before Yushi finally steps out of the bathroom.

The first thing he sees is Riku and Shotaro staring at him, mouths slightly agape—and that alone gives him a bad feeling.

“It looks bad, doesn’t it?” Yushi asks, his voice shy but still tinged with a little bit of hope.

“Yushi, you…” Riku starts, then gulps before continuing. “You look… fucking amazing.”

Shotaro, who is standing just behind Riku, nods fervently, his eyes unable to tear away from Yushi.

Yushi looks at the two of them, trying to gauge if they are telling the truth. When he realizes they genuinely look… surprised, he trudges toward the full-length mirror to see for himself.

And even Yushi is startled by what he sees.

He looks… pretty… and hot.

The dress fits him perfectly. The sleeves define his long shoulders, the neckline looks cute but intimidating, and the small cutout reveals a sliver of skin across his chest. The pads beneath the fabric create a curve that is subtle but convincing. The ribbon wrapped around his waist draws attention to his narrow frame, making the fit even more precise. And the skirt… he was right. It is short. Really short. But it does not look too revealing—not with the fishnets covering his legs. Right, the fishnets. They look… seductive. He is not even that tall but the fishnets make him look tall—they make his legs look slender and long and it is… sexy.

Yushi can't help but gulp.

“Try on the wig.” Shotaro says. “Which one do you like?”

Yushi looks at the options once again, and honestly, he prefers the shorter one. But there is something about the scarlet color of the longer one that draws his attention. So with a small, deliberate motion, he points at the long, curly wig.

Riku helps him put it on, carefully tucking away Yushi’s black hair so none of it sneaks out. After a few final adjustments and several hairpins to keep the wig in place, he steps back—and it is done.

When Yushi looks at himself in the mirror, he almost does not recognize his own reflection. In fact, he is unrecognizable!

“I think it will look better if we tie your hair.” Riku says as he rummages through his drawers. After not finding what he is looking for, he turns to Yushi’s bag instead.

“Do you have a tie or some—wait, never mind. I’ll use this instead.”

Riku fixes Yushi’s hair once more, tying it into a loose ponytail. After he’s done, he steps back and smiles in satisfaction.

“Yushi…” Shotaro starts, still unable to form any coherent words—and it is really starting to make Yushi feel shy.

“I’m telling you, people will flock to you once they see you,” Riku says as he grabs the makeup tools from his desk.

“Now, on to the makeup.”

Eunseok’s house is big. No, it's more than that. It's a fucking mansion.

That’s all Yushi and Riku can think as they stand outside the gate.

The entire exterior is fully decorated with Halloween decorations—pumpkins scattered across the Bermuda grass, ghost figurines lined up along the driveway, and orange lights draped over the trees. They are really living up to the Halloween theme.

“Well, well… look at you two pretty girls.” A voice suddenly comes from their right, making them look.

It's Sungchan. And it's really funny how he doesn't recognize them. But then again, they really can't blame them, after all, they are not just cross-dressing, but they are also wearing domino masks… which is weird but nevertheless, it still looks good on them.

“Are you two just gonna stand there?” Sungchan asks, sporting a grin. “Come on, follow me.”

They trail behind him as he strides through the house like he owns the place, greeting everyone they pass.

Once they are finally inside, the loud, booming music greets their ears. The whole living room is crowded and the lights—oh how Yushi hates it. Who even decided to make the entire house in fucking orange? He gets that it's Halloween, but aren't orange lights a little too much?

“Drinks are by the bar. There’s another bar out back, by the pool. If you want real food, head straight to the kitchen,” Sunchan shouts with intent, since the music is all over the place.

Sungchan leaves after a few minutes, saying he needs to find his friends, leaving Riku and Yushi in the middle of the living room.

“Yushi, I need to go find Daeyoung.” Riku suddenly announces, making Yushi’s eyes go wide.

“What? Why? No way you are leaving me here.” Yushi exclaims, clutching Riku’s arm, terrified of being left alone.

“You will be fine, just have some fun. You know this is the whole reason why I agreed to this whole cross-dressing thing. I need to seduce Daeyoung and now is my chance.”

He already likes you, Yushi wants to scream at him. But he can’t. After all, he only knows that because Sion told him.

It’s not that Yushi is scared—or maybe he is, but not because he’s in a mansion full of strangers, nor is it because he’s cross-dressing inside a house full of people he doesn’t even know. He is scared because he knows his boyfriend is somewhere inside, and he really, really, really doesn’t want to run into him, and he thinks being with Riku will help him with that.

“Call me if you need help, okay?” Riku says before finally leaving, his figure getting swallowed by the crowd.

Yushi sighs as he looks around, then he notices that the whole inside of the house is also full of Halloween decorations—fake bloody fingers, fake bones, fake spiders, and again, the orange lights. It's really making him feel nauseous.

He notices some people staring at him, shamefully scanning him from head to toe, making him painfully conscious as he tugs at his skirt—a futile attempt. He knows this but he does it anyway.

Too preoccupied in adjusting his skirt, he fails to notice someone approaching.

“Hey there, gorgeous. Wanna dance?”

Yushi knows the guy—someone from the Civil Engineering department. He’s about to shake his head when someone suddenly bumps into him from behind.

“Ow! Sorry, sorry, my friend pushed me.”

That voice.

Yushi gulps and slowly turns to see the intruder. And his eyes widen slightly at the sight.

Of course, it’s Sion, his boyfriend—dressed like a… vampire.

The world has got to be kidding him.

They are matching again!

A witch and a vampire. Seriously, just how many brain cells do they share? Even the color—all black—they are perfectly in sync!

He looks at Sion, unconsciously studies him, and there he notices the upper buttons of the elder’s shirt are undone—showing his pale skin and his defined collarbones. His hair deliberately messy, his black skinny slacks hugging his legs perfectly. And… are those fangs?

“Are you okay?” Sion asks, looking at him worriedly, and for a moment, Yushi thought Sion recognizes him. “Sorry, it was an accident. My friend bumped into me.” He explains again, and Yushi just stares.

Before Sion can speak again, a guy suddenly throws his hand around Sion’s neck.

“Oh! Look what we have here. Who is this pretty girl that caught the attention of our friend?”

Yushi wants to roll his eyes at Wonbin’s stupid antics, but he holds himself, afraid that he'll blow off his identity.

“Shut up, I just bumped into her and apologized.”

“Well, if that's the case then, hello pretty, my name’s Wonbin.” Wonbin says, extending his hand for a handshake, but before Yushi can accept it, Sion hits Wonbin in the head.

“Sorry, he’s naturally a flirt.”

Yushi just nods his head, trying his best not to speak because once he does, he knows Sion will recognize him immediately.

“Sion! Wonbin! The others are waiting.” Someone calls from the staircase.

Sion then looks back at Yushi, this time sporting an apologetic smile. “We have to go. Sorry again for bumping into you. And oh, please be careful. Everyone's getting drunk.” Sion says.

Yushi can only nod again, but in fact, he really appreciates Sion’s kindness.

“We’ll see you around!” Sion says before finally disappearing from his sight, dragging Wonbin along with him.

Yushi sighs in relief—reflief at not getting caught. He can only imagine the elder getting upset if he'll find out that he lied, worse, cross-dressing like this.

He turns around to get back at the guy who asked him to dance, only to find he’s long gone. And a tiny wave of relief washes over Yushi.

Not really knowing what to do, Yushi decides to sit at the couch, waiting for Riku or Shotaro to miraculously appear in front of him. And it's after fifteen minutes when he realizes that sitting there alone is totally a bad decision.

Eleven. He flat-out rejected eleven guys who asked him to dance. And it’s really getting awkward, as people just stare at him, as if judging him. What the hell is he doing here then if he’s just gonna sit and look at everyone?

So, with a sigh, he stands up from the couch and decides to walk around the mansion. A few minutes later, he finds himself standing in front of the kitchen.

It’s a totally surprising sight.

There is lots of food. Like… a lot. Yushi can feel his stomach growling as he stares at it. He hasn’t eaten anything all day, and his stomach is begging to be filled. But that’s not what surprises him. What surprises him is the couple making out on the kitchen counter. They are close to doing it in the kitchen, Yushi can tell, judging from how close they are, from how they started to grind against each other. No wonder the kitchen is empty, they must have fended off anyone trying to enter, and that includes him.

So with another sigh, he leaves the kitchen and finds himself going up a staircase.

And finally, he finds a place with no orange lights. Instead, the lighting shifts like in a bar, dim but cool, and it’s much quieter than downstairs. He hears voices coming from a corner, prompting him to see what’s going on.

He walks around until he’s nearing the spot where a few cheers can be heard. Rounding a corner, he finds himself in what looks like a mini arcade.

“Look, it's the witch from earlier.”

Fuck.

It's Wonbin. And if Wonbin is here, that only means—

Yushi’s eyes immediately land on him.

There, on the other side, playing darts with Eunseok and Chanyoung, is Sion.

He looks unbelievably handsome, swiping his tongue along his lips as he aims for the bullseye. Yushi should be used to it by now—after all, Sion always does that when he’s concentrating. But somehow, Sion doing it in this full vampire getup is doing crazy things to him.

Yushi just continues to stare, first, again, at the undone buttons, then at the rolled-up sleeves, then at the messy hair. Fuck… why is Sion looking so hot tonight?

His thoughts are cut off when a loud cheer erupts. That’s when he realizes Sion hit the goal.

Just as Sion is about to glance in his direction, Yushi immediately turns his back, rushing slightly to climb back down the stairs. As much as he wants to stay, he really can’t risk talking to Sion again.

After reaching the floor, he sighs again, feeling slightly nervous. When he looks around, he can’t help but sigh once more at the orange lights. They are really making him nauseous.

He goes back to the living room, trying to find his friends for the last time, but to his dismay, he can't find either of them. All he finds are the same people who started giving him weird looks a while ago.

He really needs to find a different spot.

Then, he remembers what Eunseok said earlier.

The poolyard.

With quick, deliberate movements, he searches for the back door, and when he finally spots it, he doesn’t hesitate and slips outside.

And thankfully, there are not so many people in the said place, probably because of the cold weather, But he’ll take this over the orange lights and loud music.

He immediately goes to the bar and makes himself comfortable in the barstool. The bartender, which is quite surprising because he is a real bartender, asks him if he wants a drink.

Now, Yushi hates alcohol. He hates how they smell, how they taste, and most certainly how they affect people in the long run. But he drinks them occasionally, and only when Sion is with him. Not because he has zero tolerance but, it's more like alcohol only tastes great when he's with his boyfriend.

But maybe this time, he can try drinking without him… just for a small change.

“Uh…” Yushi says, not really knowing what to get. And it seems like the bartender notices this, making him chuckle.

“Do you want something light? Heavy? Or maybe you just want some juice?” The bartender offers politely.

“Uh…” Yushi repeats, still unsure, which earns him another chuckle from the bartender.

“You know what? Let's just go for something lighter. You don't look like the type to drink.” The bartender says, and Yushi just thanked him.

“You look so pretty, by the way,” the bartender adds as he begins preparing the drink. “Can I get your number?”

“Oh, uhm…” No. Yushi wants to say, but he doesn't want to flat-out reject the guy, especially when said guy is preparing his drink.

“Only if it’s okay with you. I really like pretty and cute girls like you,” the bartender continues.

Oh. Right. Yushi almost forgot. They think he is a girl.

“I’m sorry. I have a boyfriend,” he says.

The bartender just nods, understanding. “That's too bad. You're exactly just my type.”

Yushi just nods and smiles awkwardly.

When the bartender hands him his drink, he looks at it first, as if studying its appearance will tell him if the cocktail is indeed light, or if the bartender is lying. Then he brings the glass to his nose and sniffs it.

Oh. It smells… good.

The bartender, who is watching him, laughs, throwing his head back, revealing a cute set of dimples on his cheeks.

“That’s light. I swear,” the bartender reassures him.

And Yushi looks at him, squinting, but eventually gives in and takes a sip of the drink.

Sweetness hits him first, followed by a punch of bitterness that washes over his senses.

He immediately scrunches his nose and sets the glass down. It’s not that he hates it—well, maybe he does. He really hates bitter foods and drinks, which is why Sion always picks something sweeter for him.

“Don’t you like it?” the bartender asks, genuinely concerned, which makes Yushi feel even worse.

So Yushi just waves his hand as he forces a small smile before taking another sip.

“It’s fine, just… not used to alcohol,” he lies.

A few minutes later, a few more people arrive at the bar, and the bartender’s attention is finally pulled away, after all, he still needs to make everyone their drinks.

Yushi looks around, occasionally taking a sip on his drink. He is really getting bored and he starts thinking that maybe he should just head back to the dorms.

He turns his back to the bar and faces the pool instead. It’s empty, except for a few balloons floating on the water, and Yushi wonders what it would feel like to jump in under this cold weather.

After a few more minutes of staring into nothingness, he hears laughter coming out from the door, prompting him to look up, and he feels his heart start beating loudly when he realizes who the people are.

He immediately spins his stool back toward the bar, hoping the newcomers won’t notice him. But, of course, they are heading straight toward the bar.

Maybe he should leave.

But one glance at his drink, which is still half full, makes him think otherwise. He really doesn’t want the bartender to think he didn’t like it.

So he just stays there, head ducked, hoping no one will talk to him.

“Oh… it’s the pretty witch from before.”

Of course Wonbin will say something.

Yushi just bows his head, showing a small smile, before looking back down, trying to find something else to stare at.

“Sion, you were looking for her right?”

Yushi frowns immediately. Looking for her? Why would Sion look for… her?

He hears his boyfriend smacking Wonbin’s head, whining a small don't make up stuff but nevertheless, Sion still sits beside him.

“Hi, we meet again.”

Yushi bites on his lips, feeling very nervous once again, and he doesn't know what to do. And he still can't speak. One word and he will be busted.

“You're not much of a talker, are you?” Sion asks, a bit teasing in his tone, and Yushi should feel flustered, but instead, he feels a small tug on his chest.

Is… is Sion flirting with him?

Yushi grabs the glass in front of him and drinks—this time, not just a small sip. He feels annoyed, also a little upset. Why the hell is Sion talking to him this way?

“Do you like that?”

The question makes Yushi look up at the elder, and fuck… Sion really looks stupidly handsome. Why the hell is he looking so good? He should have gone with the Killua outfit instead of this whole sexy vampire thing.

“The drink,” Sion adds.

Yushi nods, noticing the bartender watching them.

“Really? Can I try?”

What.

He cannot be serious. Is he really asking to drink from someone else’s glass?

Before Yushi can answer, Sion is already taking the drink from his hand, his fingers brushing slightly against Yushi’s. Even through the gloves, Yushi can still feel the spark rushing through his skin at the contact.

Then, Sion sips.

Well. Not just a sip since he drinks everything in one gulp.

“Damn, that was bitter. How are you drinking that?”

Yushi just stares, and he hates it, he really hates it. But he doesn’t exactly know what he hates more—is it how his boyfriend is infuriatingly hot, or is it because Sion just drank someone else’s drink? Well… not exactly someone else since obviously, it’s him… but that’s the point—Sion does not know it’s him.

“You should try something with triple sec, I think you would like something like that.” Sion says.

Yushi feels his fingers curl into fists as he hears the suggestion. Sion is recommending his favorite drink… to someone else.

“Do you want me to order one for you?”

Yushi shakes his head before shifting his gaze back to the front. He really doesn’t want to look at Sion right now.

“I saw you on the second floor a while ago, but you already left before I could invite you,” Sion continues, his tone comforting.

But Yushi just wants him to stop talking.

Sion just chuckles when he continuously gets no response from him.

“Can I at least get your name?”

Fuck you.

Yushi just continues to ignore him. He is so pissed and so disappointed at his boyfriend. And he can't help but think that what if Sion has been doing this behind his back.

No. No. He shouldn't think that. Sion will never betray him like that. Maybe he is just worried. After all, he does look lost right now, and maybe Sion is just taking pity.

“Sion! Let’s head back,” Chanyoung calls.

“You go ahead first! I’ll be right there.”

Just go. Please. Just go.

“Do you wanna join us?”

No.

But before Yushi can respond, Sion is already holding his hand, dragging him along with him.

“Come on. I’ve been watching you from the balcony for a while, and you look like you’d rather be in bed than here. Let’s make it fun for you, alright?”

Yushi nearly scoffs. Sion has been watching him? Wow. Just… wow.

He hates it. He really hates it. So Sion isn’t just like this to him.

Yushi lets himself be dragged to the second floor, and when they reach the mini arcade, Sion’s friends suddenly whistle, some screaming, some teasing him.

“Looks like he finally got the girl.” Yushi hears someone say.

“So this is his type,” another one adds.

And Yushi feels himself getting more and more upset with each passing second.

Sion guides him toward the people sitting in the center of the room who are forming a wide circle on the floor.

“Play truth or dare with us. It’ll be fun,” Sion says.

And Yushi just sighs. It’s not like he has another choice.

“Hi!” a girl greets him as he sits beside her. Yushi is sure he’s seen her somewhere on campus, but he can’t remember her name.

He smiles and nods in response.

Sion sits between Wonbin and Chanyoung, just across from him, and Yushi notices his friends giving Sion teasing looks, and Sion… blushes.

Stupid. Why the hell is he blushing?

Yushi shifts his gaze around. He just really cannot bear watching Sion act like this. Acting like he is a single guy crushing on a girl he just met an hour ago.

“Sion has been talking nonstop about this pretty witch ever since he got here. Turns out he was right. You are pretty.”

Yushi knows it’s supposed to be a compliment, it’s supposed to make him feel good, but he can’t help feeling betrayed. Sion… he doesn’t even know what to call it. Crushing sounds pathetic in his ears.

The game begins, but Yushi doesn’t really pay much attention to it. His mind is entirely somewhere else—somewhere that revolves around his boyfriend who has been stealing a few glances at him right then and there, and it’s really pissing him off.

Is this how Sion is when he’s not around? Flirting with anyone else he finds pretty? Learning their names? Drinking their drinks? Making them comfortable? Bringing them to his friends? Asking them to play with them? Is this how Sion really is?

Yushi knows he shouldn't think about those things but, really, can anyone blame him when it's happening right in front of his eyes?

It’s ridiculous and stupid. He’s basically jealous of himself at this point. But that’s not even what’s bothering him. What bothers him is how… easy it seems for Sion to betray him like this.

Yushi is so deep in thought that he doesn’t notice the bottle pointing at him until the girl beside him pats his shoulder.

“It’s your turn.”

Oh.

They must have noticed him spacing out, making him blush in embarrassment.

“So, truth or dare?” Another girl asks.

He wants to say dare, but he can’t, afraid they might ask him to take his mask off. So, left with no other choice, he chooses the other option.

“Truth.” Yushi whispers, careful not to make his voice known to everyone.

Thankfully, the girl beside him repeats his choice loud enough for everyone to hear.

A few people howl in excitement, and really… they all sound stupid. Why would anyone get that excited over some stupid stuff like this?

“Among us here, who do you think is the hottest?”

Of course. Of course they’re going to ask something like this.

Yushi looks around, as if examining them one by one. He already knows his answer—but he’s too pissed to choose him.

So instead, he points at the man beside his boyfriend—the one dressed as Gray Fullbuster from Fairy Tail.

“Chanyoung?” Wonbin asks, and Yushi nods slowly.

Everyone howls again, and Yushi watches as some people pat Sion on the shoulder, like they’re comforting him for not being chosen, and Sion looks… disappointed. Why the hell does he look disappointed? Sion’s reaction is only making him angrier.

So Sion wants him to choose him? Fuck him. Really.

The game goes on and this time, Yushi tries to listen, to focus, to get his mind off  the fact that Sion is basically making stupid heart eyes at someone (at him) despite having a boyfriend (still him).

And, as if everyone’s been waiting for this moment, the crowd erupts when the bottle finally points at Sion.

“Finally!” Even the girl beside him cheers.

“Quiet, quiet everyone!” Wonbin says dramatically, and Yushi rolls his eyes. Really, why make such a big deal out of this?

“Sion, I’m pretty sure you know how popular you are on campus,” Wonbin begins, and the crowd shouts in agreement. “But we’ve never seen you show interest in someone, so rumors started that maybe you’re secretly seeing someone. So the question is… are you?”

“You haven’t even asked me truth or dare yet,” Sion laughs, but the tone in his voice is like he already knew this was coming.

Yushi knows Sion is popular—captain of the track team, one of the smartest students in school, active in school activities, and ridiculously handsome and stupidly hot, so it’s not a surprise that Sion is popular. What Yushi doesn’t know is to what extent.

“Well, to answer your question…” Sion pauses, a grin on his face as if he’s trying to make everything more dramatic.

And Yushi mentally prepares himself—prepares himself how this will be the talk of the campus for the next following days, how their favorite track captain is not single, how people will try to find out who their favorite track captain is dating, how everyone will talk about it—

“No.”

Yushi feels something drop in the pit of Yushi’s stomach.

What?

“I’m not seeing someone.”

Yushi swallows the lump on his throat as he stares at the bottle on the floor, unable to take his gaze away from it. He is scared that if he will look at Sion, he might cry.

He’s a liar. He is such a liar. Denying their relationship like this—denying the three years of love they’ve built. Or maybe it was just him all along. Maybe he was alone in this. Maybe Sion never really cared.

Yushi knows it’s stupid. He shouldn’t jump into conclusions right away. He trusts his boyfriend. Sion loves him. He does.

Right?

“But are you interested in someone?” someone asks, and the room goes quiet again, everyone anticipating the answer.

Sion goes silent for a moment, as if the question needs a lot of thinking, before finally answering, “Yeah, I am.”

The crowd cheers again, and Yushi finds himself briefly hopeful. It’s him, right? Sion is talking about him, right? Maybe Sion just doesn’t want to reveal their relationship. Maybe he’s just trying to keep things private.

After all, that’s how they want it to be. They never meant to keep their relationship a secret. They just don’t want people meddling, that’s why they never announced it.

“Is the person you’re interested in here?” another voice asks. Yushi feels his heart hammering wildly against his chest.

Please say no. Sion, don’t do this to me, to us. Please say no.

“Yeah, she is.”

Yushi wants to stand, to leave the room. He can’t take it anymore. He doesn’t want to hear another word from Sion. He needs to leave, to think, to process everything. He needs to think about their relationship which he now thinks has been built on lies.

He doesn’t know what Sion is trying to do here, but one thing he is clear about is that he really doesn’t matter that much to the elder. Sure, maybe he’s just playing around, but he does know everything will eventually go out of this house right? Sion is aware that all of this will reach him, right? And definitely, Sion knows this will hurt him, right?

Yushi dusts off his skirt and prepares to leave when another comment throws him off guard.

“Not gonna lie, I really thought you had something going on with that rival of yours.”

Yushi feels his breath hitch.

“The soccer captain, right? What’s his name again… Yushi?”

“Hey… Why would you think that? Sion hates that guy.”

“Yushi is handsome, but I never imagined him to be Sion’s type. He’s too serious about everything.”

The words keep coming, and Yushi finds himself frozen on his spot. They aren’t insulting him, not exactly—they’re just stating his and Sion’s differences. But they’re wrong. Sure, Sion is playful, he jokes a lot,  but he’s serious too—serious in a way these people don’t understand. He is, in fact, even more serious than him.

Everyone continues to play and Yushi finds himself staying, not because he wants to, but because he’s too tired. Thankfully, the bottle never points at him again. However, in the last and final round, the bottle points at Sion once again.

And this time, Sion chooses dare.

“So, if the person you’re interested in is here, I dare you to go to that person, kiss her, and do seven-minutes-in-heaven with her.”

Yushi needs to leave. He can’t bear to see this.

Slowly, careful not to attract attention, he stands up from the floor, keeping his gaze fixed on the ground, avoiding engaging eye contact with anyone. But before he can take a step out of the circle, he suddenly feels a soft touch on his wrist, prompting him to look up.

It’s Sion.

Sion is now standing in front of him, his eyes gentle, and there’s a soft, shy smile etched on his face. He looks so handsome. He really does. But Yushi feels his heart breaking.

Everyone goes quiet around them, as if it’s just the two of them in the room.

“May I?” Sion asks, eyes never leaving him. He asks it so so softly and so so gently that it puts an ache on Yushi’s chest.

He hates this. He hates this party. He hates coming here. He hates crossdressing. He hates this game. He hates Sion.

I hate you.

And Yushi doesn’t even realize he whispers it aloud, loud enough for Sion to hear.

All he sees is how Sion grins before leaning in, and all he could hear are the loud howls and cheers around them.

They are so loud, too loud that he didn’t hear Sion whispering a small sure before finally pressing his lips into the corner of Yushi’s mouth.

And in that moment, all Yushi can hear is the sound of his own heart breaking.

Sion leads Yushi into a guest room where the closet for the seven-minutes-in-heaven is supposed to be. Yushi follows quietly, ignoring the fact that no one else is following them when someone is supposed to be checking whether they’re really doing the dare or following the seven-minute rule.

Yushi notices it but he chooses to ignore it, thinking that maybe this is their plan, to let Sion spend time alone with a girl for as long as she and Sion want. Too bad for them, Yushi just wants to go home.

He is already mentally preparing on how to confront Sion about the whole thing—wondering how Sion would react once he’ll know that she is him all along.

Sion opens the closet. It’s empty, but still cramped, and Yushi feels his jaw clench as he imagines Sion doing this with another girl. So if he weren’t here, Sion would be doing this with someone else. The thought makes him so angry that he wants to pat himself on the back for remaining calm so far.

“You go in first,” Sion says, there’s still a gentle smile on his face, one that he always gives to him, in fact, he gave him this just this morning.

Yushi looks at him, as if waiting, hoping Sion will back out, but to his disappointment, Sion is equally waiting. So with a sigh, Yushi enters the closet with Sion following him behind.

The space is smaller than he expected. Not only that but it’s so fucking hot. Yushi can feel beads of sweat starting to form on his temples and on his back. One thing Yushi hates is sweat, so the whole thing just gets him more annoyed than he already is. Not to mention, Sion’s arm that is also pressed into his as he tries to fit both of them inside the small space. He never thought he'd hate it until now.

“You really hated the party, hmm?” Sion asks, breaking the silence after he sets the alarm on his phone. “Sorry, you got dragged into this.”

I wouldn’t be if you just stuck to being loyal to your boyfriend, Yushi wants to say. But he keeps his mouth shut. He can reveal everything back at the dorm, not here—not when so many people are outside. He knows he won’t be able to stay calm once the dam finally breaks.

“Still not speaking? Is it part of your role? Are you cosplaying a witch that hates talking?” Sion asks, head tilted towards him, and Yushi keeps looking ahead, ignoring his boyfriend.

“You still haven’t given me your name, by the way. You can type it on my phone if you want.”

Yushi curls his fingers into a fist, his nails digging into his palms. Fuck, why is seven minutes too long.

“Okay, it seems like you just really hate doing this with me then. I’m sorry.” Sion apologizes, yet he doesn't sound genuine. Yushi knows Sion, he knows he is smiling right now despite not looking at him.

They stay quiet for the next minute, just waiting, and Yushi starts fanning his face with his hands as sweat starts to run down his temple down to his jaw.

Sion seems to notice this because he suddenly extends his palm on his face before wiping the sweat there with his own hand.

The action makes Yushi’s breath hitch. Damn, this is another heartbreak. Sion only ever does that with him.

“You know, once we get out of here, my friends will be asking if we kissed. It would be sad to tell them we didn’t,” Sion says, voice intentionally sounding pitiful, like he wants Yushi to give in.

And really, is this why Sion is doing all this? To find validation from his friends? Because of peer pressure? No. Yushi knows him. Sion is not that low and stupid. He is doing all this because he wants to, not because he is pressured to.

“I felt a spark back then,” Sion continues, and Yushi just feels himself breaking over and over again. “When I kissed you.”

Yushi just nods, still not meeting his gaze.

“Can I do it again?”

A beat. A pause.

Yushi feels his heart stop beating. He can’t even move. All his mind is telling him is—

They need to break up.

Yushi feels his eyes stinging, a bitter bile rising in his throat that he forces to swallow down.

But the dam finally breaks when he feels Sion’s lips brush his cheek, just below his mask. So so slow. So so gentle. So so soft. So so careful. Yet Yushi feels anything but that. He feels betrayed, hurt, and in pain.

Without hesitation, he shoves Sion away and yanks the closet door open.

Fuking finally. Air.

Yushi steps out of the closet, and is about to leave the room in a rush when a hand suddenly stops him, dragging him back by his wrist.

“Hey, wait, I’m sorry. Did you hate it?  I’m sorry.”

Yushi pushes him away again, this time, into his chest, causing Sion to stumble backward slightly.

He is crying now, his tears blurring his vision as he paces around the room. He doesn’t know what to say, he doesn’t even know where to start. He just really wants to go home and cry his heart out. He just doesn't want to see Sion.

“Hey. Why are you crying?” Sion asks, his voice softer now, reaching gently for Yushi’s forearms as he tries to pull him closer.

Yet, Yushi is not letting him, Instead, he hits the area below Sion’s shoulder. It’s not hard enough to hurt, but it’s harsh enough to show his pain.

He repeats the motion a few more times, each strike pushing Sion slightly backward, and Sion lets him.

“I hate you. I hate you. I hate you,” Yushi whispers with every hit, each word punctuating the pain in his chest.

Yushi doesn’t know how many times he does it, he is too exhausted, physically and emotionally, that his hits slow down as time passes by.

It’s when he is about to hit one more time when Sion’s hand suddenly grabs his wrist, stopping him from doing so. Sion’s hold is tight but not enough to hurt, just enough to startle him.

Both of them go quiet for a beat, just staring at each other, before Sion slowly puts Yushi’s hand down,

And then—

“I hate you too,” Sion says so gently, as if he isn’t trying to hurt him. But it’s too late. He already has.

Yushi looks at him with wide eyes.

It seems like Sion finally figured it out.

Well, of course he will. After all, Yushi made his voice known. Of course Sion will immediately recognize it.

Then, just like that, Yushi’s anger starts to seep out.

“You hate me? You hate me? I wasn’t the one telling people that I’m single, Sion! I wasn’t the one flirting with someone I thought was pretty, I wasn’t the one kissing someone. I wasn't the one doing seven-minutes-in-heaven with someone.” Yushi lets it all out, and he starts hitting Sion on the same spot again, still not strong but enough to make his point. He is not screaming, he is never the one to scream, but his voice is thick with ache and betrayal. “If this is how it’s easy for you to play around, then let’s just break u—”

Sion suddenly grabs his wrist, cutting him off, and pulls him closer. Swiftly, not giving Yushi a chance to process what is happening, he twists him so his back faces the bed, then pushes him onto it, and he quickly follows, climbing on top of the younger.

Yushi swallows the lump on his throat as he stares at the man on top of him who is now looking at him with dark eyes. He wants to say something, to push Sion away, but he immediately falters under the intensity of Sion’s gaze.

“You look so pretty,” Sion murmurs, leaning in to brush his lips against Yushi’s. “Fuck, you’re so pretty.”

Yushi tries to resist, but Sion grabs his wrist again, pinning it to the mattress.

“You’re so pretty… but you’re pretty stupid too.”

“What?” Yushi whispers with a gulp.

Sion immediately takes off his fake fangs and then gently removes Yushi’s mask, then he lets his gaze linger on Yushi’s eyes for a moment, admiring them. Then, not even giving Yushi a chance to speak, he closes the gap and kisses him like he’s been craving it, like it’s all he ever wanted to do. Yushi really doesn’t want to give in yet, but he can’t—not when Sion makes him feel like this.

The kiss doesn’t last long when Sion pulls away, his eyes falling on the cutout on Yushi’s chest, where a sliver of skin is exposed. Before Yushi can ask why he’s staring, Sion dips his head again, teasing the spot with his tongue before sucking on it.

Yushi immediately curls his fingers into Sion’s hair, arching his back at the wet touch.

“Fuck, Yushi… You have no idea how much I’ve wanted to do that the moment I saw you in the living room,” Sion mumbles as he continues to suck on the skin there.

And Yushi would have let himself bathe in pleasure if not for what Sion just said. Due to his surprise, he instantly tugs on Sion’s hair, urging the elder to look up which the elder obliges right away.

“What? What do you mean ever since you saw me in the living room? You only saw me there once, when we—” Yushi’s eyes widen as realization finally dawns on him. “You—you knew.”

Sion chuckles, burying his face in the crook of Yushi’s neck as he grinds his hard-on into him. But Yushi is not having it. He tugs on Sion’s hair once again. He needs clarity.

“Sion, tell me, did you already know by then?”

“Of course, Yushi. What do you think of me?” Sion admits, his voice sounding a little bit disappointed.

“But—but how? I… No one even recognized me. Not even my teammates. Even Riku and Shotaro said I looked completely different.”

Sion grins before slipping his hand to the back of Yushi’s neck, as if searching for something. Yushi feels a gentle tug at his hair, and then Sion suddenly pulls out something—a handkerchief. Sion’s handkerchief. What the hell was it doing there?

“You used it as your hair tie.”

Oh. So Riku used that. He did not even notice.

It’s no surprise that Sion immediately recognized the handkerchief. After all, all of his handkerchiefs are the same—black, with his initials engraved in silver.

Yushi feels so fucking stupid now.

“And even without this, did you really think I wouldn’t recognize my boyfriend when I see him? Hmm? The way you bite your lips when you were just standing there, looking nervous. The way you looked at me when I purposely bumped into you. And your eyes—the same eyes I stare at every single day. Did you really think I wouldn’t recognize them?”

Yushi suddenly feels small, embarrassment written all over his face as Sion stares down at him.

“I should be the one disappointed, Ushi… You lied to me,” Sion whispers, sucking gently on Yushi’s throat. “I was worried, you know, when I left you there. I could see people looking at you—God, I hate them for looking at you. But it’s okay, right? As long as I’m the only one who gets to touch.” Sion moves his hand over Yushi’s hips, kneading the fabric along with his skin. “As long as I’m the only one who gets to taste.” He then returns to Yushi’s mouth, dipping his tongue inside, exploring Yushi’s heat like it’s the first time.

Yushi moans softly against him, letting Sion taste him in every way. And when Sion pulls back again, his eyes are heavy with lust and want.

“And as long as I’m the only one who gets to see what’s underneath.”

Sion grabs the hem of Yushi’s skirt and flips it up, revealing Yushi’s fishnet-covered thighs and black boyshort panties with a small ribbon at the front.

“Fuck.”

“Sion…” Yushi whines, embarrassed by what he’s wearing.

“You really prepared for this whole cross-dressing thing, huh?” Sion murmurs, letting his fingers hook into the fishnet before kneading the soft flesh underneath. He feels himself growing harder at the sight. Yushi looks hot and sexy in a completely different way, and it’s testing his self-control.

“I wanna fuck you like this. Will you let me fuck you like this, Yushi?” Sion asks, voice going deep and a little husky.

“Just fuck me already,” Yushi whines, his face red with embarrassment, but he doesn’t care. He just wants Sion right now.

“I have no condom with me,” Sion says, placing his palm on Yushi’s hardening length and giving it a soft push, stealing a small gasp from the younger.

“You—you always bring one! Why don’t you have it now?” Yushi complains, impatient and needy.

The words make Sion let out a chuckle as he looks at Yushi once again. “Why the fuck would I bring a condom to a party when I knew you wouldn’t be there?”

And the words hit Yushi in a way he hadn’t expected. It’s meant to be like an if you just didn’t lie, then i would have been prepared, it’s supposed to pin the blame on him. But how it touches him—it’s soft, assuring, and honest. It’s an unspoken I never even thought about any of that because you will not be there. And maybe it’s his fault, for being too gullible with his own feelings. It’s not that he doesn't trust Sion, he does… he really does… but he just let himself get fooled that Sion will never recognize him and that’s why he came to the conclusion that Sion could be cheating on him.

Thinking about it now, he is really stupid. He’s really really stupid.

“Sion, please… fuck me.”

“I want to, but—”

“Sion…” Yushi pleads, looking at him, hoping Sion understands, hoping Sion will get the message.

And of course Sion does. He always does.

“Fuck, okay.” Sion says with impatience. He unbuttons and unzips his pants, pulling them down along with his boxers, revealing his already hard cock. He wraps his palm around his length, giving it a slow, teasing up-and-down motion. He’s already very hard, but he just wants to feel it first.

Yushi is about to pull his tights down along with his panties, but Sion stops him.

“Don’t. I want to fuck you with them on.”

“What? How?”

Sion doesn’t answer. Instead, he spreads Yushi’s legs further, and fuck—seeing Yushi’s legs trapped in the fishnet tights stirs something dangerous inside him.m,

He caresses his palms along the netting, feeling Yushi’s skin beneath this new barrier, and he finds it unbearably hot. So so hot.

“Faster…” Yushi complains, and Sion should be enjoying making him suffer like this, but he’s just as eager.

So he complies, but instead of what Yushi expects, Sion rubs his dick along Yushi’s clothed rim, starting slowly, letting the softness of Yushi’s panties brush his skin.

Sion groans at the sight. He can’t believe he gets to see Yushi like this—dressed up in a sexy witch outfit while he’s on top of him, ruining him.

“Sion… ngghh…” Yushi moans, his fists bunching the bedsheets beneath him.

Then Sion dips his dick inside along with the fabric, just enough for the tip to feel Yushi’s tightness.

“Ah! Sion… I need…”

He knows... He knows what Yushi needs. But he wants to savor this first. He wants to imprint the sight in his mind—how Yushi’s heat, along with his cute panties, swallows the tip of his dick. If he could, he would thrust all the way in, but he knows it would hurt Yushi, and he will never hurt him. He will never hurt Yushi.

“Sion… come on!”

So impatient, he thinks. Instead of listening, Sion increases his pace, sliding the tip in and out as he watches the fabric get swallowed along.

Yushi keeps moaning and whining, torn between pleasure and impatience. He reaches for his own cock, but Sion slaps his hand away, causing him to whine.

“You’re not doing this properly!” Yushi complains, a scowl forming on his face. Sion can only laugh at his boyfriend’s impatience.

Sion stops, then he grabs the hem of Yushi’s tights, and begins pulling them down. The sight of Yushi’s thighs covered with the diamond-shaped marks left by the fishnet tights drives him insane. But there’s no time to admire it further because Yushi has been whining nonstop.

He stretches the tights down further until it reaches below Yushi’s knees, but still wanting to fuck Yushi with the panties on, instead of pulling it down, he stretches it to the side, enough to make space for his dick to slip in.

The sound Yushi makes is music to his ears the moment his cock comes into skin-to-skin contact with Yushi’s heat. He continues to slide it in and out, letting Yushi bathe in the sensation of his hardness pressing against him.

The wet, sloppy sound of his cock gliding against Yushi’s ass is sultry, addicting, and it’s only fueling their desire further.

Sion continues to tease, and he can see Yushi trying to glare at him despite his eyes being half-lidded from pleasure.

But despite his annoyance, what comes out from Yushi’s mouth instead surprises Sion.

“You’re too far, hold me.”

And Yushi is right. Because he has been kneeling between his legs, too busy admiring Yushi’s thighs and panties to remember the person beneath him.

Yushi has actually been patient all along, especially when he always wants Sion close everytime they do this.

So Sion instantly removes Yushi’s tights completely, giving him space. Then he crawls up, letting Yushi finally curl his arms around him.

Yushi sighs at the new warmth, pulling Sion a little more closer because he suddenly feels clingy and emotional. He doesn’t know why but probably because it just hit him how he even thought of breaking up with the elder.

Sion adjusts himself above him, properly positioning his cock on Yushi’s rim as he adjusts the panties, and just as he finally slips it in, Yushi suddenly speaks—

“Sion, I love you—ah!”

Sion’s eyes widen—not just because he’s surprised by the words, but because he might also have hurt the younger.

“Are you okay?”

Yushi nods, but his face contorting into a mix of pain and pleasure.

“It—it feels good… always… but, I—I can feel you.”

And Sion feels the same. Sure, they’ve done it raw before, but only a couple of times since Yushi always prefers an easy clean-up.

“I can feel you too,” Sion says, dropping a kiss on Yushi’s lips. “And I love you. I really do. I love you, Yushi.”

Yushi responds by pulling Sion in for another kiss, and Sion takes it as a sign to finally move. He pushes in slowly but deliberately, and Yushi moans into the kiss as Sion continues to bury his cock in Yushi's heat.

Once he finally bottoms out, he can feel the softness of the fabric of Yushi’s panties on the side of his length, and it really makes him go crazy—probably because of the sensation.

“I’ll move, okay?”

Yushi nods, and that’s all it takes for Sion to pull out, leaving just the tip in, before slamming back with punctuated purpose.

Sion does not go easy on him, and Yushi loves every second of it. Sion thrusts roughly, making Yushi feel every inch of him—raw and wet. The slap of his hips against Yushi’s thighs echoes around the room, adding more heat to the air.

Yushi moans again and again, each thrust hitting a sensitive spot that makes him see stars.

“Hyu—hyung… hhhh—ah! Ah!” Yushi can’t keep quiet as every part of him ignites with fire.

“So tight—so beautiful, so perfect. You’re so perfect,” Sion praises into Yushi’s ear. “I love you… I really love you,” he continues, pressing a long kiss to the tip of Yushi’s ear.

Yushi keeps his eyes shut tight from pleasure, his nails digging into Sion’s back, not even realizing that his hands have already found their way under Sion’s shirt.

Sion’s thrusts become more desperate and impatient in the next few seconds. The bed creaks under them with every movement, and the backrest of the bed hitting the wall as well. Creating a soft tck tck tck.

“Hyung… Hyung, I’m—I’m close,” Yushi cries as he bites into Sion’s shoulder.

And maybe it is the way Sion delivers a single sharp thrust, or the way he groans hotly into Yushi’s ear—or maybe it is both—but suddenly, Yushi finds himself trembling as he reaches his climax, his dick throbbing as it spurts warm liquid across his abdomen.

Then he feels his whole body go sensitive under Sion’s continuous pounding, his legs almost giving out despite himself lying flat on the bed.

“Just a little bit more,” Sion groans into his ear, continuing to thrust. When he finally feels himself coming, he suddenly pulls out before sitting up, earning a loud groan from Yushi. Sion pumps himself roughly and fast with his hand until he comes, painting Yushi’s black panties with his cum.

“Ah, fuck…” Sion groans, throwing his head back as he empties himself and his pumps become slower. When he finally comes down from his high, he drops his weight beside the younger to avoid getting his clothes getting stained from their cum.

“Why did you pull it out?” Yushi asks, giving Sion’s arm a soft slap, voice half whiny and half tired.

“Wanna see my cum there.” Sion says as he gathers Yushi into his arms, side hugging him.

“How the hell am I supposed to get home now? Also, Riku will literally kill me for this,” Yushi mutters, lifting his head slightly to look down on his abdomen, realizing he ruined the fabric there.

“I’ll wash it for you if you want. Also, just take your panties off—we’ll go back together anyway.”

Yushi tilts his head to the side to look at Sion, giving him a glare. “You are not letting your hands anywhere near this. And for the ride, of course we should. And I am sitting at the back.” He says, knowing what Sion would do when he’s in a skirt with nothing underneath. The last thing he wants is to have sex in the car.

Sion only chuckles before pressing a kiss on his lips.

“Sure, whatever you say, Yushi.”

Both of them go quiet, only their breathing echoing in the room as they catch their breath. Yushi is so close to dozing off when Sion suddenly speaks again, his voice a little more serious this time.

“Don’t lie to me again.”

Yushi stutters, not expecting Sion to sound like this—vulnerable, and… slightly pissed.

“I know you have your reasons for hiding it from me, but don’t do it again.”

Sion sounds really intimidating like this, and Yushi knows he is in the wrong. So he catches Sion’s hand in his before intertwining their fingers. “Okay. I’m sorry.”

Sion raises himself slightly before looking down at him. His eyes are sharp and piercing, but Yushi can see the softness in there. “And don’t ever think of breaking up with me again. I’m so pissed right now, but I’ll let it go because I understand why you thought of that.”

Yushi releases a shaky breath, realizing he must have hurt the elder. “I’m sorry.” He whispers, and he means it, he really does, and he knows Sion can see it too.

Sion leans down to press one last kiss to his lips before finally smiling—genuine and understanding.

“Come on, let’s clean up. We don’t want anyone thinking we fucked here, do we? I don’t want to end up in next week’s university news for fucking some random witch girl at Eunseok’s house.”

Yushi laughs but nods in agreement.

Later that week, Sion still ends up in the headlines… but not for what he thought. Instead, everyone on campus is curious about the girl in the witch costume who somehow captured the interest of their favorite track captain.
