Chapter Text
The only things Yoko Tanaka can comprehend in this moment is the smell of old rain water seeping into wood and the sound of new rain being poured on the roof. Other than that, thanks to her blindfold, she’s completely in the dark about what’s going on- of course she has her assumptions. She’s been kidnapped, and only a week into her Junior year.
Nevermore is a weird school, truly, but this is beyond what she ever expected. What could she have done wrong? Or maybe this is an unprompted attack, which makes her possible fate far worse.
Suddenly, all at once, her blindfold is ripped off and a bright light is shone in her face until she can feel it burning her irises. With a screech and violent shaking Yoko successfully gets the light taken back but not away.
“Wake up Tanaka.”
“Wh- Wednesday..?”
“Correct. You’re awake then.”
“What is this- where am I?”
“Xavier’s old shed, he fled from me with his tail between his legs and with Weems having.. ‘resigned’ nobody knows this place besides the nightshades.”
Yoko looks around, the remnants of old paintings and even a spot of dried blood from when Wednesday brought her first victim here. She says first because every second she stares into Wednesday’s eyes it becomes clearer that she will very likely be the second victim.
“Why are you doing this?” Yoko was torn between pleading for her life and getting answers. Knowing Wednesday, if she started begging so soon the goth might just hurt her.
“Hm.” Wednesday frowns, her ears twitching slightly as she swishes her tail back and forth slowly.. calculating before she grabs something from behind the vampire and reveals her phone. Yoko looks at the familiar phone case, the one Divina had given her just a few days ago as a welcome back gift.
“You have an entire folder dedicated to me and my family, not to mention the.. threatening texts you continuously sent me all summer.”
“That-“
“Gave me an idea.” Wednesday places the phone back, not before shutting it off fully.
“What idea then?” Yoko knew that was a bad idea.. pranking Wednesday Addams? The pit in her stomach was plummeting further and further as her fingers trembled in their place. The ragged rope burnt her wrists easily and she began to think there might be something else in the material.
“Thing.” Wednesday turns around fully to the rest of the shed as her captive vampire silently bit her lip, the pain was really getting to her.
“They’ll come looking.. the nightshades will find me.”
“The nightshades are disbanded, you know that.”
“They-“
“Won’t even notice you’re gone likely. Except your girlfriend.. but, she’s preoccupied.”
“Divina!? What’d you do?”
“Nothing. Relax, I can’t have you getting angry with me so soon.”
“Of course I’m angry! It was just a prank!”
The goth girl finally turned around, holding what looked to be basic dentists tools. She pried two fingers into Yoko’s mouth and widened her lips roughly until placing the thin metal bars into her mouth. When her hand retreated the vampire tried desperately to close her mouth to no avail.
Wednesday started poking at Yoko’s fangs with her gloved fingers paying great attention as the girl tried to bite down. “Bad girl..” she whispered, looking to thing and tutting her tongue before grabbing the device and twisting something. Slowly, excruciatingly, the metals bars widened her mouth even further until she could do nothing but drool onto her lips in humiliation.
“Such a mess you’re making, hungry?” Yoko tried shaking her head but Wednesday just reached for another item. “I’m not going to feed you, I just need to do one last thing and I’ll let you ruminate in your isolation.” The goth girl took out a camera and flashed it directly into Yoko’s face, taking out the Polaroid and shaking it softly. She turned it to the vampire and coo’d.
“Vampires are very fascinating creatures and your little.. ‘prank’ gave me the perfect excuse to finally investigate you. Like with most photos, it’s common knowledge you don’t have reflections but some pictures are a whole other thing. Apparently, pictures can capture a vampire. If done correctly and with the right kind of camera. Tell me Yoko, have you ever seen yourself before?” The image presented to Yoko was incredibly humiliating, her eyes were squinted and her entire body reeled back from the flash.. not to mention the way the drool dripping down her chin was visible made her want to close her mouth so much more. But she could do nothing but continue to drool and stare at the photo with an embarrassed expression.
-
The minutes and hours blend together for Yoko the longer she’s in the shed, with only the sun to keep track of time she’s had trouble sleeping. Every few hours her body would just shut down and return to normal after a time she doesn’t know. It could’ve been days by now- or just a few hours. The entire experience was horrible, and she just wanted to be free.
Once more, she tried to twist her wrists out of the rope but is reminded of the cut she made. Each movement of her hand felt like the rope was digging under her skin and rubbing against her bones. She wanted to cry out but with her mouth being forced open for so long her throat felt too dry to even speak.
The feeling of dried spit all over her mouth humiliated her further as her head lolled to the side and she looked at the paintings for what must’ve been the 300th time now. Horrifying pictures of the Hyde from last year, spiders, generally dark scenes and one massive portrait of her captor staring down at her.
The details were fine, perfect even if Yoko could bring herself to remember any of Wednesday’s features that hadn’t haunted her thoughts ever since the girl left her in the shed.. would she even return?
Yoko thinks of her girlfriend often, Divina is probably worried sick and the thought of her beautiful lover being distraught makes her tremble slightly. She needs out, she really needs out.
The vampire imagines what she would do when returned to Nevermore. She’d take Divina on far more dates. The siren always asked to go out more and Yoko kept denying her, that would end when she returned. She’d probably need to sleep in Divina’s bed for a week just to purge the memory of this horrible shed.
Not too long ago the rain finally ended. What must have been a flash storm passed, leaving behind a damp atmosphere and more stuff in the air for yoko to worry about. The only reason she’s fully aware of the fact that the rain stopped is because almost the second that faint pattering ended she was struck with these long, never ending bouts of ringing in both ears.
Her temporary lapse in hearing gave her captor the chance to sneak up on her, closing the door and making it right in front of the vampire before she even realized Wednesday had entered.
“Alive still I hope?” The cat girl took a wet rag and wiped Yoko’s mouth free of the saliva before walking behind her. The sigh of relief she let out when the rope was pulled away from her wrists must have sounded identical to a moan, and she felt almost zero shame in her response. The soft, damp rag dabbed gently against her bloody skin and left it feeling better than it had for hours.
Wednesday showed herself back into Yoko’s sight to slowly twist the knob and remove the mouth gag from the vampire, keeping a finger inside her jaw to check on her teeth, for only a moment before letting go and letting the vampire close her teeth fully.
“Feeling sore? Hungry?”
Yoko nodded weakly, staring up at her captor with eyes so full of conflicting emotions that even she couldn’t decipher what she was hoping for out of the cat.
“From now on you’ll only be drinking my blood.” Yoko breathed in sharply, trying her best to allocate energy into the desperate shaking of her head. “Yes darling, this is non-negotiable.”
Yoko opened her mouth to speak, though the burn in her throat only allowed her to cry out in pain and shut down quickly.
“Relax.. relax, please.” Wednesday pressed a hand to the underside of her cheek, rubbing a gentle thumb against her skin in a mock affectionate way.
“I’m very aware of the effects it will have on you, on us. My hope is to bind my body to yours”
“Pl..please,”
“I don’t think you have much of a choice right now anyways, drink.”
Wednesday presented her wrist, the soft pulsating vein just below the surface looking excruciatingly enticing to the vampire right now.
“If you don’t drink something soon, you’ll be very far lost. You’re already going through the withdrawal symptoms. Aren’t you?”
Yoko looked down at the floor, then up to her captor for a few moments. She knew it was true, her head was pounding and her hands shaking as she looked at them. Only free for a few minutes and they looked worse than she’d ever seen in her life, fingers trembling, wrist bright red, and a palm that looked like it would be hard pressed to hold onto anything if she tried.
“Drink, Yoko.”
She wanted to.. not because she liked drinking blood but because it felt as if she might die if she didn’t obey. However, her hesitation didn’t give out before Wednesday’s impatience. With a quickly swipe, the girl had a knife against her skin and the blood seeped out slowly.
The reaction was swift, and instinctual. Before her mind had adjusted Yoko found her lips pressed in a circle as her teeth punctured more holes and she drank slowly
The exhilarating sensation of actually feeding off a live human made Yoko tremble with more than weakness. She let out a sigh of satisfaction, using her hands to bring the meal closer and her eyes to watch each of Wednesday’s movements. She must have looked like a rabid dog devouring a bowl of scraps the way her captor just watched with barely a wince from each puncture wound.
“Well?”
Wednesday finally pulled her wrist back, grabbing a roll of bandages from behind Yoko’s chair and quickly wrapping her wound up. She knelt beside the chair and started wrapping more bandages around each of Yoko’s own wrists so she couldn’t hurt herself on the rope again.
With a soft swallow of some spit, Yoko’s throat felt relatively fine again and she opened her mouth.
“Just once..”
“Plenty of times from now on. You’ll enjoy it.”
“I’ll.. get addicted.”
“Yes, that’s my goal.”
“Why..?”
Wednesday ignored her question, simply bending over and trying her wrists back up and putting them in place before turning away and checking her bag.
“Why haven’t I been found yet?”
“Because nobody’s looking.”
“Wh- nobody!?”
Wednesday shook her head quietly, reading the first few lines of the book she pulled out of the bag. Each line was littered with vocabulary far too advanced for the level of writing the author seemed to have but she got through them simply enough.
“They have to be looking..”
“It’s only been 8 hours.”
“Eight.. seri.. seriously?”
Wednesday stood up straight to take one last look at Yoko from above.
“Goodnight then.” She turned around and walked out of the shed without another word leaving the vampire to her own devices.
-
The vampire was awoken by the weight of someone climbing into her lap. Quickly, she found her hands were untied and they moved to the person’s hips instinctively.
“Yoko”
“Divina..?”
It was far too dark in the shed for yoko to be able to see anything besides the vague outline of her companion but she had an educated guess- given the fact the body started kissing her neck without prompt.
“Wait- I need-“
“Shhh, you’re safe.”
Divina cupped Yoko’s cheeks, pressing a gentle kiss to her lips and rubbing her hair against the vampire’s face. It felt all too affectionate so quickly, but what else was Yoko to do but encourage her girlfriend. After all she did say she would be a more attentive partner.
“Okay.. just- be quiet..” Yoko kissed Divina, “you’re so cold..”
“Warm me up then..”
It’s not like vampires are very warm either but Yoko tried her hardest, slipping her girlfriend’s hand up her shirt and letting it warm up with her skin. This contact brought light to the fact she hadn’t been wearing a bra but that was something to worry about later.
“Yoko..” the breathy way Divina said her name made Yoko want to do a lot of unsavory things, most of all lean in and bite her neck like the vampires do in stories.. something about what Wednesday had her do must have woken up this hunger she feels.
“Yoko, let go.”
“What? Am I squeezing?”
“No, not my hips. Let go of your restrictions.”
“Restrictions.. what?”
“Drink.”
That word- that.. command. It switched her brain off, and Yoko only felt herself regain consciousness as the blood dripped down her teeth into her lips but by then she was far too deep to pull away. The vampire sat there, sucking at the puncture wound in her girlfriend’s neck and holding the siren up by her hips.
Somehow, through it all, her girlfriend was still talking her through it. Like this was natural for her, like Yoko had done this to her before despite the fact that if even the thought of feeding off divina crossed her mind then the vampire would have guilted herself into isolation.
As the sucking slowed, so too did the words of her companion and the movements she gave. Maybe divina was growing tired.
“We need to go back to Nevermore now. Stand up.”
The gentle touch of fur against skin as Divina sighed and burrowed her tired face deeper in the crook of Yoko’s neck-.. fur?
Yoko gasped- her ankle was being wrapped by that soft furry tail all too burnt into her memory.
“No-“
“Yoko. Kiss me again.”
“Di- Wednesday get off!- ah!”
The feeling of those cold fingers wrapping around her breast shook yoko down to her core, the tweaking of her nipple almost hurt. It took all of her energy to throw the girl off her lap, and she only really managed to get her to stand up instead of the throwing she hoped for.
“You-!”
“That was all your own mind. I never said I was that siren.”
“You kissed me!”
“Mmm. An action far less disgusting than I assumed it would be though your mouth is less than clean.”
“Then let me go!”
Wednesday stepped closer, pressing her thumbs and pushing Yoko’s bottom jaw piece downwards to look into her mouth.
The heavy breathing caused by their proximity caused Yoko’s mouth to yield without protest despite her own thoughts. Her breath was warm and wet on Wednesday’s fingers, creating a strange atmosphere. She must have forgotten her gloves..
Somehow in the confusion and calming down from their first meeting of.. that stuff, Yoko hardly noticed when Wednesday was kissing her again until the feeling of her tongue pressing against her lips made her jump. But the girl in her mouth didn’t give up, pulling Yoko closer through the back of her neck.
“I can taste my blood on you.”
That really shouldn’t have made her feel as good as it did, but her heart racing in her ears was the only proof she needed that it was far too late for her to do anything about Wednesday.
The girl finally stood up and stared down at Yoko, and took a look at the restraints long discarded and promptly fell into Yoko’s lap with a harsh thud.
“What-“
Wednesday mumbled something in response, pressing a hand to the wound on her neck and grabbing onto Yoko’s arm.
-
She could leave. There was nothing stopping her but her own mind and body. With her captor unconscious, sitting in her lap with only a sloppily bandaged neck and movements so slow even in her sleep that Yoko doubted she’d be able to stand up.
Had she purposely drained Wednesday of her blood like that.. or was it just a coincidence born from her excitement to drink more blood. There was no denying her newfound urges to drink, and staring at the blood bandage only made her hungrier..
Yoko ran one of her fingers along the sweaty line of Wednesday’s forehead, a few stringy strands pushed back into place easily as she stared down. She looked oddly beautiful like this, when she wasn’t patronizing or terrorizing yoko.
The longer she watched the girl in her lap sleep, the less she thought about leaving. She found herself thinking more about what was going to happen next. It didn’t seem as if Wednesday was going to keep her here forever, not if she was trying to.. ‘tame’ her. Yoko really didn’t want to think about it in that way but that was really the only word that applied to what Wednesday was doing to her.
Honestly this can’t even be her fault, there’s no way she’d drained that much blood in one sitting- there had to have been underlying issues with the girl.
Issues that made Yoko uneasy honestly, it felt kind of like a betrayal that the girl who got her hooked on her blood turned around and passed out the second she decided to drink some.. she wasn’t really worried about her though, she’s got several reasons to not care. Not least of which the fact that Wednesday might the strongest student at Nevermore through sheer willpower. There was no stopping Wednesday, not a murderous Hyde, not a pilgrim zombie, and definitely not a little blood loss.
Of course she’d be okay, she’s not worried. But maybe she’ll just stay here a little longer and keep watch.
After what felt like a few hours, staring and admir- scrutinizing her captor, the macabre girl stirred on Yoko’s lap. Quickly realizing her position and standing up.
“Why are you still here.”
“What?” Yoko watched as the girl slowly rubbed her eyes and stifled a yawn- desperate to try and keep her dignity, at least that’s what Yoko assumes is the explanation to this behavior.
“Why didn’t you leave I- it’s been..” she checked her watch, “three hours”
“Well- you passed out. I couldn’t just.. leave you here.”
“That’s the logical decision.”
“Are you embarrassed?”
“No- don’t smile. You’re being ridiculous.”
“You’re totally embarrassed! That’s amazing!”
“Wh- be quiet.”
“I can’t believe you’re embarrassed Wednesday! That’s-“
“I’m serious. Be quiet” Wednesday shoved her palm against Yoko’s mouth, shutting down her next words. But it was already too late, soon the door of the shed was forced open and in came one of the new hired teachers.
“Hello? Who’s in there.”
Yoko’s eyes widened and she tried opening her mouth but was only met with the taste of her hand.
“Wednesday?”
-
“They were making out! I’m busy trying to get all the freshman into their cages and I hear this shriek- only to find two juniors making out in a creep abandoned shed.”
Miss Capri looked between the two girls sitting infront of the principal’s desk and the principal himself, clearly upset about his under-reaction to the situation.
While the new werewolf musical teacher continued to tell her part of the story Wednesday took a moment to inspect the rest of the room. It was as if every memory of Larissa Weems was incinerated and scratched out from Nevermore history.
“Listen, Capri. I’ll have a talk with the girls. Go outside and cool off.” Principal Dort stood up and pressed his palms together for that same prideful smile he thought he was so generous in giving. When the teacher stormed out he looked down at the girls sitting down and shook his head.
“You know I have a certain siren worried sick in my office almost every hour of the day since you disappeared.”
He leaned in, his eyes conspiratorial.
“You know, next time you want to get away and sneak around. Try and give your girlfriend a better excuse.”
“I’ll.. remember that for next time..” Yoko was clearly more embarrassed out of the two, not able to meet either principal Dort’s or Capri’s eyes even as she was finally dismissed out of the office.
“And you..” the principal clicked his tongue and smiled.
“You didn’t tell me about that shed.”
“It was supposed to be a secret.”
“Wanna tell me how you got caught?”
Wednesday closed her lips tightly, looking out the window towards the full moon and stars.
“I presumed as much. If you want this little agreement of ours to continue you can’t get caught like this again.”
“I won’t.”
“Good, now-“ he clapped and helped Wednesday to her feet. “I’ll keep Capri off your back, I just need a little confirmation that you’re still going to help me as I help you. I’ll scratch-“
“Don’t feed me those generic lines that built your cult.”
“I’d rather you keep quiet about that. Especially if you’re gonna throw the C word around.”
“Anyways, I already told you there is a zero percent chance grandmama will ever agree to your donation plan.”
“Ah well.. we could always go with plan B.”
“No.”
Principal Dort laughed calmly, walking to the door with Wednesday following behind. “Then I guess we’ll have to find a way to convince your grandmother.”
“What’s your plan-“
“Ah, no. I’m not going to hand you all the answers right away. You’ll figure something out, maybe it’ll keep you busy enough that I won’t have to deal with this.. game of yours.”
“Treachery is a two person task.”
The door closed behind Wednesday as she finally stepped out, leaving her with the task of convincing her grandmother to donate a large sum of money to Nevermore. A Sisyphean task. Deep in thought, Wednesday walked directly into the unfairly tall vampire staring down at her.
“Why are you still here.”
“She was interrogating me.. asking how we got off campus during a full moon and.. other stuff.”
“And, what did you say?”
“Nothing- nothing incriminating.”
Wednesday hummed softly, looking up at her vampire and nodded.
“Good girl.”
