Work Text:
Peggy studies the area, eyes peeled for non other than Whitney Frost. The room is busy with esteemed guests mingling with one another, yet no sign of the target just yet, no hint of blonde to reveal the actress in question.
"How fabulous" comes the voice laced with sarcasm that cuts through Peggy's focus, commenting on the party.
Peggy finds herself so focused on the task at hand that she almost forgets the other problem, the one she'd thought was a good idea at the time but had recently come to doubt. She turns to Dottie, the two standing at the side of the party to scope out the place.
"Focus on the mission" Peggy responds flatly, returning her gaze back to the party.
"You're no fun" Dottie tuts, leaning herself against the wall and crossing her arms. "Aren't we going to dance? We're supposed to blend in, aren't we?"
She grins when the other woman shoots her a glare, exposing sharp canine teeth behind deep red lips that have always reminded Peggy of something more animalistic.
"Aw..shame. I thought this was a party." The assassin continues when the other woman ignores her. They both know she's just trying to rile her up, and Peggy's not about to let her think it's working.
"Any sign of our target?" The agent questions, not entertaining her.
Dottie sighs, offering a quick glance of the room. "No. Looks like we have some time to enjoy the party, Peg. Blend in."
Peggy hums. "There's a staircase to the right. Whitney might have arrived early. I imagine the meeting rooms are up there"
She taller woman responds with a petulant huff, to which Peggy rolls her eyes.
"Don't start. The sole reason you're here is to assist with this. I can just as easily have you put back if you're not going to cooperate"
Dottie smiles, raising her hands in mock surrender as she straightens up from the wall "yes ma'am. Upstairs we go."
Peggy leads her across the party, waiting for an opening before making their way upstairs. They find themselves in a corridor, Peggy giving a quick look to check Dottie is still with her, before walking forwards, trying to find some sign of life behind one of the doors to determine whether Whitney is up here. She's becoming progressively more annoyed with the situation, trying to navigate the restricted area unidentified searching for Whitney while also keeping her companion in check. She has to remind herself that she brought this upon herself, and this can't go wrong if she wants to prove Daniel and Jarvis wrong and also more importantly.. ensure everyone's safety.
Then, she hears steps, her eyes drawn to the shadows of oncoming men, numerous by the looks of it.
Of course this wasn't going to be made easy for her.
She makes a quick decision before even thinking it through, grabbing Dottie's arm and shoving her into the nearest door, pressing her against the wall. She's not exactly sure why that was her first course of action. She knows Dottie couldve handled herself, but if 'handling herself' leaves a pile of bodies, this is probably easier.
The mystery room, fortunately, happens to be an empty bathroom, pink with white accents and smelling faintly of lemon. It was a strange thing to pick up on right now, but Peggy finds herself trying to focus on anything but the assassin she was currently pinning against a wall.
She dares to look up at her, Dotties amused gaze catching hers with a raised eyebrow. The agent can sense the teasing comment without Dottie even needing to speak, and they both know to stay silent for the time being, hot breath mingling as they listen for the footsteps to cease. Her eyes are trained on Dottie as she listens, unable to help noting her darkened eyes and the way she glances down at Peggy's mouth.
Dottie is the first to speak when the steps leave, her voice slightly breathless. "Mm. Peg, if you wanted me against a wall, you could have just said so.."
Peggy breathes, momentarily distracted by the comment while Dottie senses the opportunity, her hands slipping down to grab the woman's hips and hold her there against her.
"You're a bit breathless, Peg.. maybe we should take a break."
The agent clears her throat. "We have to find Whitney. I don't have time to deal with you aswell." she reminds her, and Dottie pouts.
"Fine, fine. I'm behaving. You like when I behave, don't you?"
Peggy's eyes narrow. "You bloody well better."
Dottie hums playfully, enjoying the scenario. "Oh yeah? What are you planning to do to me if I don't?" She looks down at Peggy's lips again.
"I saw that. Don't think you can get away with that again, I made sure to keep my lipstick off the premises around you"
"Aw..Peg, don't you trust me after our last.. rendezvous? I seem to recall you kissing back."
Peggy huffs. "And I seem to recall being unconscious seconds later. Was that really the best way to go about an attempt assassination?"
Dottie shrugs nonchalantly. "Perhaps I just wanted to kiss you"
Peggy falters "..really?"
"Or perhaps I was intruiged by the concept. Or I wanted to see how that scenario would play out. Maybe I was drawn in by the technology. Does it really matter?"
"You wanted to kiss me" Peggy repeats, reliving the scene over again, reminded of the subtle taste of the woman's lips she'd gotten before she'd pulled away, the taste that she'd pushed to the back of her mind since.
The assassin rolls her eyes "'oh, don't get so hung up on that detail, Peg. You're the one who's yet to stop pinning me against a wall. I'd say if anyone wants anything here, it's you.."
"You're the one still holding onto me"
Dottie grins "Mm.. I am, aren't I? How naughty of me. Should i worry that you're going to punish me for not being a good-"
She's entirely cut off by Peggy kissing her roughly, surprising them both. It takes a moment for Dottie to react, a soft noise escaping her that's probably the most vulnerable Peggy's ever heard her, the thought spurring her on to kiss her deeper. Sudden confidence arises in the agent at the soft sounds, shoving Dottie against the wall harder to prompt a moan, slipping her tongue in the second the opportunity is there.
Kissing Dottie is like nothing she's ever experienced before - it's entirely different from the first time. More primal, tongue running over sharp fangs without fear that they'd cut her. In fact, welcoming blood.
She pulls away only to breathe, and Dottie stares back at her, already so breathless and wrecked from nothing, like a pathetic dog. It draws Peggy in again, brushing her lips against the woman's neck to draw another gasp, satisfied as she immediately tilts her head back without question, like its instinct, like she was made for this.
The dress was a good choice, Peggy finds, giving her access to trail kisses down pale skin without interruption, hand coming up to pin Dotties hand to the wall by her wrist when it rises to protest.
"Peggy.." The assassin finally manages, caught between giving in completley and struggling. Even she doesn't know whether she's struggling to end this or in an attempt to take control.
Peggy hums against her skin, the small vibration hitting Dottie like a truck. She's like an animal caught in a net right now, a far cry from all Peggy has known her to be.
The woman switches to pressing hot, desperate open mouthed kisses down Dottie's throat, the world around them fading away, all that matters being this, them. Dottie groans, undignified.
"Jesus..Peg.."
Her complaints are futile, both have the knowledge that the assassin could put up a good fight and overpower her if she really wanted to get away. She wanted this. They both knew.
"Shh, thought you were being good for me?" Peggy quips, a reminder of Dottie's earlier teasing. It was a wonder her and the woman before her now were the same, the thought exciting Peggy further.
"This isn't..." Dottie breathes, arousal coiling in her stomach tightly like she's taken a hard punch, her knees threatening to give way.
"Isn't what? How you imagined this?" Peggy's eyebrow raises.
Dottie looks at her helplessly, trying to feign confidence "just..didn't take you for the type, Peg"
Peggy lifts her head to kiss her again, biting her lip this time, urging to have the metallic taste on her tongue, urging her to bleed, to show weakness further. Her free hand moves up to cup a breast through the dress, curious how far she can truly get as she listens to the sharp intake of breath from the woman in question, the way she practically whines when thumb finds hardening nipple, material surprisingly thinner than she'd expected.
"Don't whine at me. There's a good girl"
Peggy takes pleasure in the way Dottie practically stiffens at the comment. She hums in acknowledgement, making sure Dottie knows that she knows. It's not something she needs to comment on, there's enough understanding - but she does regardless, enjoying the woman's predicament.
"Oh, you like that?"
She doesn't give her time to even consider responding, adjusting their position so her thigh can press up between Dotties legs in a sudden movement - just to see. Just to check. The moan she receives proves worth it, noticing the way the woman shifts her weight to press against her harder.
"Ah ah..bad girl" Peggy shakes her head, moving hand from wrist to the woman's throat, closing around it gently enough. She can feel the swallow against her hand, the confused arousal, as though Dottie Is wondering how this happened, how she's letting it. Peggy squeezes a little, just to demonstrate control, a warning, before her hand moves away to grab her hair, yanking her head back hard. She's practically just playing now, watching to see what gets a reaction from the oh so scary assassin practically quivering against her thigh.
She doesn't really know what's gotten into herself either.
There's another whine, a strangled moan, another movement against her, an attempt at something. She should probably tell Dottie to quiet down lest they be caught, she could clamp her hand over her mouth and muffle her voice, but the sounds of whimpers and howls echoing in the bathroom are too delightful, the sight of the woman trying to keep quiet and failing miserably. A mess.
A logical part of Peggy's brain knows she can't rip off the woman's dress and have her, not here. She grinds her thigh up experimentally in thought, humming as Dottie tries to move her hips forwards for more friction. She allows it, the desperation all too enjoyable that she entertains the idea of letting Dottie get off on her thigh, amused by the idea of her being this worked up. She stands, letting her get herself close.
How pent up was the woman?
She suddenly pulls her thigh away, resulting in a confused whine. She moves to kiss her again, soft this time, apologetic. When she pulls away Dottie looks desperate, blue eyes filled with need, a dog offered a treat and never receiving it. Peggy fully pulls back, to Dotties frown.
"Whitney will definitely be here by now" Peggy says, nonchalantly as she can manage, a cruel tease.
"Peggy-" comes the beg, and Peggy has to do everything she can not to grin. She knows its cruel to deny her like that, but they did have a mission, and she imagines Dottie won't be in much of a teasing mood after this.
She gives the assassin a moment to process, letting her adjust herself. Peggy watches. She truly looks pathetic, like a kicked puppy.
But ironically it's the most human Peggy has ever seen her.
