Where the Blue Bead Went

Summary:

The Soul hums and illuminates, becoming a beacon of light, as the surrounding world dissipates, truth no longer concealed by darkness.

Light expands and reveals from that source, out of the mansion, through the streets, into an alley.
Yet the light cannot reach what's concealed in ice.

Instead, it breaks and tears away the bead trapped inside.

A witness watches a Lightner wakes up cold.

The light travels, coating the land, filling up every room and sneaking into every crack and corner. Nothing can hide. The world fell into Light.

The frozen inhabitants of the world, program freezing upon interfacing with Light, computer screens error and crashing. The best attempt at returning them to their initial disposition.

Yet there’s one icicle sculpture that does not translate into the Light.

Breaks it, tearing it from either world.

A bluebird lies in a place of neither light nor dark. The owner of the hand that wrought the previous world watches him in the distance. Without a sound, it approaches the fallen figure,

An eye snapped wide.
