Work Text:
Donghyuck had noticed that Jisung would do whatever he wanted a few months ago. Before that, he never really paid it that much attention. He’d often jokingly ask him to do something, anything, and if it wasn’t too outrageous, Jisung would do it. He would blush a little and whine about it, maybe, but that was it for the most part.
Now Donghyuck knew that Jisung adored him, much like he adored the younger man. But Jisung often gravitated toward either Jaemin or Renjun. Chenle on the otherhand often gravitated toward Mark or Jeno. Those were just the dynamics within their group and Donghyuck was somewhere in the middle. He didn’t mind, not really. But then Jisung cried accepting an award, telling the world how thankful he was to have Haechan, Donghyuck next to him, always.
And then he cried when they won another award and he pulled Donghyuck next to him before they went over to Mark. And Donghyuck can’t lie and say it didn’t matter to him. He can’t lie and say that Jisung caring so much about him doesn’t make his heart flutter a little bit. But he laughed, because that’s what every single one of them does first, before he held Jisung close to him. He never tells Jisung how much it means to him. He never tells Jisung that he enjoys it when Jisung lets him do whatever he wants.
But he notices it. He notices it everytime Jisung just does what Donghyuck wants him to, without too much protest. He does it like it’s the most normal thing in the world, and that’s what has Donghyuck’s head reeling.
(1) In-turn
The first time he really notices is months before he actually registers it as something, anything. It was during their smoothie promotions. They were filming something in an office. It was cute, it was fun. Jisung being the youngest got stuck with the role of the intern once more and he couldn’t escape the giggles surrounding him, cooing at him about his fate. Jisung’s ears turn red whenever anyone teases him. But when Donghyuck does it, he gets this twinkle in his eyes, this slight smile.
Everyone gathered around their assigned desks and the filming started. They bickered and they played their roles as well as seven overworked young adults could, to be honest. They laughed a lot and it was honestly fun, in Donghyuck’s opinion. What made it more fun for him was the fact that Jisung would turn, anytime anyone asks. Well, the only one who really asked was Donghyuck himself, but that’s not what really matters. (It is.)
What matters is that Donghyuck shouted “In-turn!” At every chance he could find. And Jisung would stop, his eyes would twinkle, and he would turn. Each and every time he would turn. He would whine about it, maybe a little, but he would always do it. He had every chance to say no, every chance to sit one out. But everytime Donghyuck decided to be annoying and tell him to turn, he would do so, no doubt about it.
“Aren’t you dizzy?” Jaemin asked at the end of the day. They were all grabbing their bags. Donghyuck had been ready for close to ten minutes already but Chenle and Jeno had been chatting for even longer so they were all sitting around the room.
JIsung shrugged. “No? Why?” He checks his phone, pulling up the camera to pull his hair in front of his face.
“You twirled a lot today.” Renjun hums, scrolling through his own phone.
Jisung’s eyebrows furrow a little and he pockets his phone. He blushes. “I didn’t twirl, I turned, it’s different.” He looks at Donghyuck, who’s sitting on the couch next to Jaemin, looking at him with that look. That look he always has when he’s enjoying himself, when he has the upperhand. Jisung pays it no mind. “It was my job, I don’t know.” He huffs, sitting down on the couch next to Renjun with a sigh.
They don’t really say anything about it other than that. The conversation falls silent until Renjun starts yelling at Jeno and Chenle to hurry up. They later go on a mission to search for Mark, who somehow disappeared. They find him thanking the staff and it takes another fifteen minutes before all of them are out of the door.
They end up at Chenle’s house. There’s enough take-out to feed a small village and there’s definitely enough alcohol to get a small village drunk. And maybe it’s the alcohol. Maybe it’s just Donghyuck’s need to have pretty boys wrapped around his finger. Maybe it’s his slowly increasing infatuation with the younger man, but as the both of them leave Chenle’s residence and stand outside, waiting for an uber, he turns to Jisung.
“Will you turn one more time?” He breathes out, skin red and flushed from the cold as well as the alcohol.
Jisung squints his eyes, looking down at Donghyuck. “Okay.” He says in the softest voice ever. It was probably louder than it sounded in Donghyuck’s ears but Donghyuck was focused on Jisung, on the way his lips smiled slightly, on how pouty they were.
Jisung turns once and Donghyuck has to remind himself to breathe at the fact that Jisung just does whatever he wants, with that pretty smile and that type of vulnerability he only shows Donghyuck.
He thinks about it for the rest of the week as he lays in bed, staring at his ceiling.
(2) Water bottle
The second time, he truly registers it as something distinctly them, as something Jisung only does for him. They’re performing at an outside venue to promote their newest album ‘Dreamscape’. They’ve danced to plenty of songs before they get a few minutes to interact with the crowd and to drink some water.
Jisung crouches down, sitting on one knee, reaching for the water bottle. He’s about to take a sip when Donghyuck leans over him, reaching for the water bottle. And Jisung just lets him. He lets Donghyuck take the water bottle out of his hand and he doesn’t whine, he doesn’t complain. He just looks at the crowd with a smile.
Donghyuck laughs a little, giving the water bottle back before he reaches for his own. And then the twinkle in Jisung’s eyes come, his smile widens and he laughs. Donghyuck can’t help the stutter his heart makes. He can’t help the feeling that tickles his stomach. Jisung looks at Donghyuck like he has hung the stars there, like he’s the one who made the moon glow in the dark nights. He looks at Donghyuck like he’s the reason the world keeps spinning, keeps shining.
And Donghyuck doesn’t know what to do with that. He knows he’s kind of fucked the moment he realises that he doesn’t mind Jisung giving him that look and he knows he’s definitely fucked when his own heart skips a beat the moment their hands barely graze eachother during another part of their choreography.
The thing is, this is unlike Donghyuck. He whines and pines, and he does so publicly, about many of his friends. It’s funny and he likes the character he has created for himself. But somehow, Jisung is much, much worse. He’s made his way into Donghyuck’s heart and nestled himself there, refusing to leave. All of his friends love him and they look at him with equal amounts of adoration and annoyance. He’s very proud of it. Jisung is different.
Even when Jisung reaches his limit or gets annoyed, he doesn’t shove Donghyuck off. He starts patting any part of his body he can reach until Donghyuck slides off him with a smile. The worst thing about it is that Jisung doesn’t complain, he never says anything about Donghyuck invading his space, he never says anything about Donghyuck asking him for stuff.
So Donghyuck starts looking around. He starts to decipher Jisung’s interactions with the rest of his group. He finds that for some reason, Jisung whines with everyone but him. Even Jaemin gets a shove or an annoyed grunt. It drives him crazy, the idea that he has Jisung wrapped around his finger, more so than normal.
No one seems to notice it but him and that’s what makes it more enticing, more thrilling. Jisung is just his, this version of him is only for Donghyuck. Donghyuck can’t help but to want it, to crave his attention. He can’t help but to fall in love with Jisung, like it was never any different.
(3) Say it cutely
The third time it happens, Donghyuck does it on purpose. They’re in Shanghai, Chenle’s hometown. They’ve just done a live show when the staff drops snacks on the table and gives Chenle a cardboard cut out with different snack names in Shanghai’s dialect. Chenle needs to explain them and then everyone will choose one before trying out their respective snacks.
It starts off with Chenle apologizing for his accent, and Donghyuck smiles when Chenle apologizes because not a moment after, he tells Jisung to apologize. Who does so without complaint. The smile on his face never leaves, even when they all decide on snacks, one after the other. He’s honestly having so much fun with this.
Jisung chooses a snack called ‘Ttetyobing’ and Donghyuck can’t help himself. He can’t help but to blurt out, “Say it cutely, I think you can read it out cuter.” He knows full well that Jisung hates it. He knows that Jisung feels awkward and uncomfortable when he’s asked to do stuff like this. But Donghyuck really can't help the urge that erupts in him.
He also can’t help the smile that emerges when Jisung rounds his cheeks and pouts his lips. Donghyuck almost squeals in glee when he just does what is asked of him. “Okay, let’s go.” He adds afterwards, very quickly. It’s something he says when he has just done something uncomfortable and awkward. It’s a quirk Jisung has, and Donghyuck loves even that.
The second he’s done, Jisung’s eyes flash with recognition and he blushes, whining. “Ah.” He sulks. “Why do you only do that to me?” The room erupts into laughter afterward and it’s forgotten until they all leave for their own hotel rooms.
(4) Anything
He should probably have let it go. He should probably have given Jisung a day to recover from the events of the evening. But the feeling in his chest won’t let up and he’s tired of watching Jisung look at him with stars in his eyes and not doing anything about it.
He’s Lee Donghyuck, he’s never one to back down from a dare or a difficult situation and he’s definitely not a coward when it comes to expressing himself freely.
That’s why he finds himself in front of Jisung’s hotel room after texting the younger man to confirm that he is indeed still awake. He’s about to knock when the door opens, Jisung stands in front of him, one hand on the door and the other hand still gripping the towel that's slung around his neck.
He’s in sweats, just loose black sweatpants and his beloved Adidas zip-up hoodie. His hair is wet and his cheeks are flushed, like he actually just came out of the shower.
“Are you gonna let me in, or?” Donghyuck says.
Jisung nods. “Yeah, yeah- sorry, let me-” He doesn’t finish his sentence as he steps aside, letting Donghyuck enter his room before he closes the door behind them.
Donghyuck steps forward, into the middle of the room and looks around. They often hang around eachother like this, so usually there’s nothing wrong or awkward about it. But today he has a goal, today is different.
The room feels warm, probably from the fact that the bathroom door is still open and there’s steam coming from it. It smells like the cologne and soap Jisung uses and for some reason it makes Donghyuck dizzy, in a good way. He tries to focus on something else. “Did you just get out of the shower?”
Jisung hums. He doesn’t move from where he’s standing by the door, watching Donghyuck.
“You could’ve told me to wait, you know.” The older of the two says.
Jisung shrugs, he still doesn’t move. “I don’t want to keep you waiting.” He says, like it doesn’t mean anything. It means everything. Donghyuck tries to see if he’s blushing, if there is something that he’s nervous about. He can’t find anything.
He feels dizzier by the moment. The small confession, the smell, the warmth. He needs to do something. “At least dry your hair properly.” He scolds instead, beckoning Jisung over to him. “Sit, I’ll dry it for you.” He says, he listens to the demand.
Jisung just hums, again and nods. They don’t do this. They don’t dry eachother’s hair. They don’t share rooms, not like this. Whenever there’s a question in an interview about something like this, everyone whines and gags, like it’s the worst thing they’ve ever thought about.
But they have all seen eachother naked, they’ve slept in the same beds. But they don’t do it so intimately. They don’t tell eachother to sit down and hand themselves over.
Jisung sits down at the desk, chair facing the wall. He looks in the mirror as Donghyuck stands behind him. His fingers reach out for the towel still around Jisung’s neck and he can’t help but let them brush over the fabric on his shoulders, just a little bit.
He grabs the towel and slowly unfolds it. He carefully presses it against Jisung’s hair. It reminds him of their time on M2’s YouTube channel. They released an AMSR video not long ago. Maybe that’s when he realised how much he meant to Jisung, maybe he should have known then that Jisung was full of adoration for him.
Jisung revealed during the filming that he chose to film this and that he specifically chose Donghyuck to do it with. Donghyuck also remembers how they joked around and how when Jisung pushed the head massager into his hair, his hand found placement on his back. He remembers the way it felt and he remembers how he couldn’t stop thinking about it for weeks.
He thinks back to that day only to realise it was another instance in which Jisung just let Donghyuck do whatever he wanted. He remembers the little bit of protest he had against all the clips Donghyuck places in his hair. But he also remembers that Jisung never once stopped Donghyuck.
Donghyuck continues to press the towel against Jisung’s hair, rubbing strands between the fabric carefully. He looks up and into the mirror, to try and stop the memories flooding in, only to be met with Jisung’s eyes looking at him through the mirror.
It’s the same look he’s seen so many times before. He looks at Donghyuck like he’s the only boy in the world, like he wants to hold him for hours on end and never let him go. Donghyuck can’t help but flush a pretty pink. “You have to stop looking at me like that.” He says. Because it’s what he came for, wasn’t it?
Jisung smiles, head leaning into Donghyuck’s touch. “Like what?” He asks.
“Like I’m the only man in this world. Like you would do anything I ask of you.” He breathes out, voice soft. He lays the towel on the desk, only to return his hands to Jisung’s hair, slowly massaging the scalp. Jisung basically purrs into the touch, like a small cat getting pets.
Donghyuck’s heart flutters again.
“You are.” Jisung says, never skipping a beat. “And I would, anything.” He says. Like it’s nothing, like saying this doesn’t change everything.
Donghyuck twirls the strands between his fingers, looking down at his hair and then into the mirror again. The blush never leaves his cheeks. “And if I asked to kiss you?” He whispers.
Jisung hums, eyes closing as Donghyuck starts scratching his scalp. He’s leaning against Donghyuck’s stomach now. Donghyuck only has to look down to see his neck and the expanse of skin disappearing into the hoodie.
Jisung opens his eyes, staring up at Donghyuck. “You can ask anything and I’d do it, hyung.” It comes out so soft, so breathy.
“Let me kiss you.” Donghyuck demands then and Jisung visibly swallows before the twinkle returns to his eyes and Donghyuck leans down, hands leaving Jisung’s hair and cupping his jaw, fingers grazing the stubble on Jisung’s chin.
It’s an awkward angle, for both Donghyuck and Jisung. Kissing upside down never really works as well as you’d expect it to, but for some reason, as their lips press together, in a deep but short kiss, it feels like heaven.
Donghyuck pulls away, hands trailing up Jisung’s jaw before he steps away and Jisung sits up, swiveling the chair around to look at the older man. He reaches out to pull Donghyuck between his legs. They stare at eachother for a few seconds before Donghyuck leans in to place a proper kiss on Jisung’s lips.
Jisung hums into the kiss, gripping Donghyuck’s waist with delicate fingers. When they pull away, Donghyuck’s cheeks are a bright red and Jisung relishes in the way that he’s the only one who gets to see this. He relishes that this is only for him to see.
“Sleep here tonight.” Jisung says then. He fully expects Donghyuck to say no.
He doesn’t. Instead, he sees Donghyuck look down at him with pouty lips and eyes that are trying to decipher something. “Okay.” Donghyuck says.
(5) Sit down and let me kiss you, let me win
The fifth time Donghyuck notices that Jisung lets him do whatever he wants, it’s very much on purpose. They hadn’t spoken about it, not really. Not even when Jaemin knocked on Jisung’s hotel door the next morning to walk to breakfast and he found Donghyuck sleeping next to Jisung, hands intertwined underneath the sheets.
They don’t even speak about it when Jaemin tells everyone what he finds and the group starts screaming at eight o’ clock in the morning. But Donghyuck isn’t mad about it. He doesn’t feel nervous, he doesn’t feel anxious. He’s okay with the pace they’re going at because everytime he catches Jisung looking at him, he’s still looking at Donghyuck like he’s the only person on the planet.
It takes a few weeks before they do actually talk about it. They’re in Japan for a few performances when Donghyuck hears a knock on his door. “Hyung.” A soft voice calls from the other side.
Donghyuck gets out of bed, leaving his phone trapped in the covers to go answer the door. When he does so, he finds Jisung standing on the other side. “Wanna play a few rounds?” Jisung asks then, holding up his laptop.
“I’m not letting you win.” Donghyuck giggles.
“You’re not good enough to win, point blank.” Jisung counters and Donghyuck scoffs.
“You do know who you’re talking to right?” Donghyuck says, letting Jisung pass and walk into the room, closing the door behind him.
Jisung nods. “The worst League player I’ve ever met, actually.” He sits down on one of the desk chairs, placing his laptop on the wooden surface, turning away from the older man standing at the other end of the room.
Donghyuck clicks his tongue against the roof of his mouth, squinting his eyes. He walks into the room and pulls one of the other chairs up to the desk, sitting down next to Jisung. “Let me win.” He says. He looks at the boy next to him.
It’s not fair, and it’s also not what he wants. He’s not against winning with a little cheating, but it isn’t a win when it’s handed to you. Jisung frowns, looking at Donghyuck. “Really?” He says, like he knows he’d do it if Donghyuck meant it.
“Let me win.” Donghyuck repeats with a shit eating grin on his face.
Jisung groans. “Hyung.” He whines. “Really?”
And when Donghyuck nods, the same smile still on his face, Jisung groans. “No.” He says, but both of them know he doesn’t mean it. So when Donghyuck wins, it doesn’t come as a surprise to either of them.
It’s well past midnight when Donghyuck turns around to face the man next to him, who’s packing his belongings. “Stop that.” Donghyuck says. Jisung leaves everything as it is. He’s standing up, Donghyuck is still sitting. It reminds them of the last time, when the roles were reversed.
“Sit down on the bed.” Donghyuck says and Jisung has to listen, he has to do as told because Donghyuck says it, and means it. He means the look on his face and the blush rising up his neck.
“Hyung?” He questions, even as he nods and sits down on the bed, scooting back and sitting up against the headboard.
Donghyuck shuts his own laptop off before he walks over to Jisung. “Don’t question it.” he says, climbing onto the bed and sitting himself down in the younger man’s lap, knees on either side of Jisung’s thighs. Jisung squirms underneath him and there’s a pink flush to his cheeks. It’s like last time hadn’t happened. It’s like this is the first time Donghyuck touches him, ever.
His hands find purchase on Jisung’s shoulders and the other’s hands grip his waist. “Sit still and kiss me.” He says. It’s all this has led up to. Jisung does whatever Donghyuck asks of him, so this is not any different. It feels different, though. It feels like they’re putting all the feelings they have out in the open.
And like each and every time, Jisung listens to him. His grip on Donghyuck’s waist tightens and he leans forward, lips connecting. His hands slip underneath Donghyuck’s shirt to touch the skin just above his hips.
It starts off slow, innocent enough. But then Donghyuck’s hands wander to tug at the strands of Jisung’s hair and Donghyuck lets his tongue run along Jisung’s bottom lip, asking for acces. Jisung hums, opening his mouth and letting their tongues intertwine.
Donghyuck shifts further into Jisung’s lap, body begging to be closer. The kiss turns sloppy and messy. It ends with Donghyuck trailing wet kisses down Jisung’s jaw. Jisung’s breathing heavily now and his hips thrust up, seeking friction.
“Hyung.” Jisung whines. “You’re hard.”
Donghyuck knew this. After their third time going back for another kiss, he had felt it. “Don’t worry about it.” He breathes out, going back to press kisses against Jisung’s jaw.
“Let me help, hyung.” Jisung says, softly and with a lot of love. Donghyuck’s hips stutter and his head lands on Jisung’s shoulder.
“Yeah, okay.” He says softly.
Jisung’s hands work to pull down the front of his shorts and underwear down in one swift motion. Donghyuck lifts his hips up and kicks them off, letting the garments fall onto the floor beside them. Jisung uses this time to free himself from his jeans and all he does is just push the fabric down. Donghyuck is happy to know that he has the same effect on Jisung, that the latter has on him.
“Do it properly.” Donghyuck says, almost scolding, looking at Jisung and then down. He reaches to wrap a hand around Jisung’s cock. Jisung shakes his head. If he’s disagreeing with the fact that he must be uncomfortable with his balls straining against the fabric of his boxers or if it’s about Donghyuck reaching down, he doesn’t know.
Jisung grabs his wrist. “Let me do it.” He smiles softly. Donghyuck feels his heart flutter and his chest rising in anticipation. He’s not normally one to hand himself over like this, to let someone else do all the work. But Jisung says it so sweetly, so nicely, that he feels like he has no other choice but to take what is given to him. And when he gets the thought that he wouldn’t mind taking what Jisung gives him anytime, he’s not afraid. He feels content.
“You’re so wet for me already.” Jisung notes and Donghyuck’’s wrist is freed as Jisung thumbs over Donghyuck’s slit, spreading precum all along the head. Donghyuck tries not to think about the fact that Jisung mutters those words. He tries not to think about how it just makes him warmer, more needy.
Donghyuck leans forward, head resting in the crook of Jisung’s neck and arms slung around his shoulders. “Jisung-ah, don’t tease.” He whines.
And once again, Jisung listens to him, like he always does. “Anything you want, baby.”
Before Donghyuck can even whine about the endearment, Jisung’s hand wraps around him fully. Donghyuck looks down to see that he’s bringing both of their cocks together.
“Fuck, Jisung.” He says when he sees the difference in size. “Oh my god.” He moans later when he sees that Jisung’s hand is almost big enough to wrap around the both of them. His fingers wrap delicately around the both of them and it drives Donghyuck crazy.
He doesn’t expect himself to last long, not when Jisung starts calling him baby again with loud groans. “I’m not going to last long.” He whines out, closing his eyes in hopes of keeping his orgasm at bay.
“It’s okay hyung, let me take care of you.” Jisung says, thumbing at the slit of his cock once more.
“No, no, no.” Donghyuck whines. “Wanna come together.” He whispers, raising his head. “Kiss me.” He says whilst thrusting his cock into Jisung’s hand.
Jisung kisses him then and Donghyuck can no longer help himself, coming all over his and Jisung’s stomach. Jisung really doesn’t take much longer. He groans into Donghyuck’s mouth before he pulls back with a satisfied smile.
Donghyuck leans forward and the younger man wraps his arms around him, embracing him. They don’t speak for a while. They bask in the content feeling of satisfaction that happens after coming undone underneath the hands of someone who is so easy to love.
Jisung speaks up first. “Did you mean for this to happen?” He says, with a slight smile.
Donghyuck shakes his head but he doesn’t raise it from where he’s laying on Jisung’s shoulder. “No.” He says honestly. “But I’m happy it did.”
Jisung hums. “I love you, hyung.” He says then. “You know this.”
And eventhough Donghyuck hadn’t expected it, not upfront like this, he does know it. He knows Jisung loves him and he knows where they stand with eachother. He does need clarification, though.
“I love you too.” He whispers. “I don’t-” He starts, lifting his head to look at Jisung. They’re sticky and gross and Donghyuck winces at the sensation on his stomach. He ignores it in favor of looking Jisung in the eye. His arms are still slung across Jisung’s neck and they come up to cup his cheeks. “I don’t want anything casual.” He whispers, like he’s afraid of something. They both know there’s nothing to be afraid of, especially when loving eachother is so easy.
But Jisung just smiles, hands rubbing circles into the skin on Donghyuck’s hips. “It was never casual to begin with, hyung.”
(+1) Tell me you love me
There is one time where it isn’t Jisung who listens to Donghyuck no matter what, it’s the other way around. They’re standing in the hallway of Mark’s apartment, pulling on their coats and shoes.
The rest of their members are still sitting around the couch. It normally goes like this; everyone just leaves whenever they want and it’s easy. So they don’t expect anyone to follow them into the hallway. They definitely don’t expect anyone to see them like this.
The moment Donghyuck has slipped on his slides and pulled his jacket over his shoulders, he’s crowded against the wall. “Hyung.” Jisung says.
Donghyuck looks up to find Jisung’s hands on both sides of his head. He’s staring at Donghyuck with a small smile on his face and those stars in his eyes that Donghyuck has begun to yearn for. “I love you.” The younger man says.
“I know.” Donghyuck smiles cheekily. “Let’s go, Sung-ah.” He says, trying to get away from Jisung, who doesn’t budge.
Jisung doesn’t whine, he doesn’t blush. He just stares at Donghyuck who’s squirming to get out of the trap Jisung has him in. “Say it.” He demands softly.
“Jisung-” Donghyuck tries. He stills, back flat againt the wall, chest rising ever so slightly.
“Tell me you love me.” The thing is, Donghyuck is normally the one who demands things. He’s the one who knows what he wants. He has everyone wrapped around his finger, stumbling over themselves to get Donghyuck what he needs.
And Jisung is no different. He would do anything and everything, even at the expense of himself. So Donghyuck thinks it’s only fair to give it back, to let himself be pulled under by Jisung. He thinks it’s only fair to do what the younger man needs of him, sometimes.
So he nods. “I love you.” He says, clearly.
Jisung hums, eyes squinting in satisfaction. “Give me a kiss.” He demands then, and Donghyuck once again nods, blush rising on his cheeks as he cups Jisung’s jaw and presses a soft kiss to his lips.
When he pulls away, he looks into Jisung’s eyes. “Happy?” He huffs. “Can we go home now?”
“Dude, what the fuck?” A voice calls and both Jisung and Donghyuck turn their heads to be met with their members, standing in the door opening.
Donghyuck just presses his head to Jisung’s shoulder. “I’m never listening to you again.” He breathes out, exasperated.
“That’s a lie.” Jisung says. Both of them know it.
