Chapter Text
"How was your date?" Taehyung asks, and then he immediately regrets it because of the look that Jungkook shoots his way.
If looks could kill, Taehyung would be dead right now. The look that Jungkook gives him is one of pure murderous intent—his head is tilted down so that he's looking up at Taehyung, his eyebrows scrunched together in anger, and his defined lips are twisted into a scowl.
"Jesus," Taehyung mutters. "Okay, I'm guessing it went horribly."
"That's an understatement, hyung," Jungkook deadpans, rolling his eyes.
In fact, horribly is such an understatement that it makes Jungkook want to laugh—or cry. He isn't quite sure which one. Maybe both.
The date itself had gone fine, actually. He'd met up with a man named Hyunwoo whom he'd matched with on a dating app—Tinder, of all places (he knows)—and the two of them seemed to immediately hit it off. That wasn't surprising; they'd gotten along really well in their texts over the last couple of weeks, so Jungkook had high hopes for the outcome of the date, but apparently, so did Hyunwoo. The only difference in the high hopes the two had for the outcome of their date was that while Jungkook had simply hoped that the date would result in a second date, Hyunwoo had apparently spent the entire night hoping it'd result in Jungkook naked in his bed, squirming under him as he fucked him into oblivion.
All of Hyunwoo's hopes came crashing down, though, the second that Jungkook informed him that he was a virgin when Hyunwoo had propositioned him to go back to his place.
Hyunwoo didn't like that—which had made Jungkook sick to his stomach.
So the night ended with Jungkook adding Hyunwoo to the long, ever-growing list of men who were great until they discovered that Jungkook was a virgin, because for some reason, that's a dealbreaker for a lot of people. Jungkook doesn't understand it. Why should it matter that he's a virgin? Why do people act like it makes him unworthy of love? Everyone he's ever admitted to that he's a virgin has reacted as though he's slapped them in the face with a five-kilogram brick and exposed all of his toxic traits to them. (Not that Jungkook has many toxic traits, really. He supposes his most toxic trait is that he's sick and fucking tired of people not wanting him because he's a virgin. )
"And he'd seemed like such a catch, too," Taehyung sighs, shaking his head and clicking his tongue. "At least, he did from his Tinder profile."
"Yeah." Jungkook wants to forget Yugyeom entirely. He lets out his own sigh. "Hyung, I know I said that I wanted to wait until I found the one and all of that, but I'm really tired."
"What do you mean?" Taehyung asks.
Jungkook sighs again. "I'm tired of nobody wanting to date me because I'm a virgin. How am I supposed to find the one if I can't even get past the first date because all anyone wants is sex, but not sex with a virgin?"
Taehyung offers Jungkook a sympathetic smile, and while Jungkook understands that Taehyung's not meaning for the smile to come across as pitiful , it still makes Jungkook wanna punch his hyung in the face. Taehyung doesn't actually fully understand how Jungkook is feeling right now, but that's to be expected. Taehyung isn't a virgin. Taehyung lost his virginity when they were still in high school. Taehyung never made any stupid purity pledge to wait for marriage like Jungkook did.
Part of Jungkook resents Taehyung right now for having not made that dumb pledge with him. If he had, then Taehyung might be in the same boat as Jungkook right now—
Who's Jungkook kidding? Taehyung wouldn't have made it to twenty-seven a virgin even if he'd taken that pledge with Jungkook. Taehyung is simply too handsome . Not to mention, it wasn't even that long after Jungkook had pledged to wait until marriage that Taehyung had met Jimin. The second those two had met, it was over for Taehyung, and any pledge he'd have taken would've gone right out of the window anyway—especially because those two got married six months after they met, despite the fact that they both were still in high school.
"I need to rescind my pledge," Jungkook says.
Taehyung looks at him, blinking as if Jungkook's words aren't computing. "What?"
Jungkook squares his shoulders and puffs out his chest like he's bracing himself with the confidence to say what he's about to say. "I'm rescinding my pledge. I'm no longer waiting until I find the one. No longer waiting for marriage."
"What?" Taehyung repeats.
Jungkook rolls his eyes. He loves his best friend, but sometimes, his hyung can be really dumb. He says, "I'm going to lose my virginity."
Jungkook groans loudly in annoyance. It's been a week since he decided to lose his virginity, but he's had absolutely no luck in finding someone for the task. It's not like he's being picky about who he gives his virginity to—but he absolutely is being picky about who he loses it to, because even though Jungkook really wants to just stop being a virgin as soon as possible, he also at least wants to somewhat trust the person he shares his first time with.
Obviously, Taehyung is out of the question. Jimin would sooner flay both of them alive, and besides, while Jungkook does have eyes and agrees that Taehyung is incredibly, unworldly handsome, he's not Jungkook's type at all.
Jungkook can't really just go through his friend group—what would he even say? Hey, will you fuck me so I'm no longer a virgin and can actually get past the first date with people? Jungkook feels like he's going to die of embarrassment just thinking about resorting to that.
He goes through the—short—list of friends he has and begins to mentally cross out their names.
Namjoon
Namjoon is currently enveloped in the entanglement of his life: a situationship he's been swearing for the last three years he'll end and never go back to, only to be wooed by the same big, brown eyes and full lips that put him in the situationship to begin with. So he's out of the question.
Hoseok
Hoseok isn't one for casual sex, which is what Jungkook wants to have, because he wants to lose his virginity so he can go on dates and get laid by potential suitors without being turned down because of his inexperience. Hoseok is the kind of man who only sleeps with someone if he's already in a relationship with them. So he's not in the running, either.
Mingyu
Mingyu is too… what's the word for it? Submissive of a guy for Jungkook. Jungkook wants to lose his virginity, not feel like he's taking someone else's. Mingyu is hot and all, but Jungkook doesn't see himself topping for his first time. So scratch Mingyu.
Eunwoo
Eunwoo is in a relationship, so that's an automatic scratch out of his name.
Yugyeom
Jungkook definitely could see himself going up to Yugyeom and proposing that they sleep together, and he's sure that Yugyeom would even agree to do it. There's one problem, though: Yugyeom doesn't stay friends with the people he fucks. So, he's out.
Yoongi
Yoongi has been seeing this one girl for a few months now, and even if he wasn't seeing someone already, he's not into younger guys, which is sad, because Jungkook thinks that Yoongi is so pretty, he reminds him of a flower petal, and he thinks Yoongi would be a monster in bed. But alas. Scratch him out.
Taehyung
Scratch him out for obvious reasons, same with Jimin.
Jungkook sighs. That literally leaves nobody. He's fucked, and not in the way he wants to be. He's never going to get to lose his virginity or go on more than one date with someone.
A lightbulb goes off in his head, and Jungkook thinks he’s got the best idea ever.
Or the stupidest idea ever. It depends how you look at it.
"Hey, hyung," Jungkook says in greeting when he finds Seokjin in the kitchen he shares with Taehyung and his husband. Taehyung and Jimin both fell ill yesterday and have been unable to get out of bed, so his older brother came by this morning to prepare his dongsaeng and brother-in-law some soup—some special Kim family recipe that Jungkook has never been deemed worthy of knowing (Jungkook isn't mad about it, because the soup Seokjin makes when Taehyung is tired is some of the best soup Jungkook has ever tasted in his life).
So, with both Tae and Jimin currently bedridden and incapable of leaving their room (partly because Seokjin has ordered them to quarantine in there so nobody else gets sick, Jungkook figures that this is the best opportunity to follow through with his idea. It's been a week since Jungkook came up with this idea, but it's difficult to pin down Seokjin. He's always on the move, his schedule insanely busy in a way that makes Jungkook feel like he's never doing enough, despite drowning in his own bookings. Sometimes he wishes people would stop getting married for a bit so he can have a proper weekend off—but alas.
"Hey, Jungkook-ah," Seokjin greets him in return as he stirs the soup simmering on the stove.
"That smells delicious," Jungkook compliments, coming up to stand next to him. He takes a long inhale and lets out a sigh of satisfaction. "Yeah, it smells divine."
"Thank you, Jungkook-ah," Seokjin says, smiling at him. Here's the thing about Kim Seokjin—he's the most beautiful person Jungkook has probably ever seen in his entire life, and when he smiles, he becomes even more beautiful. It's a joke within their entire core group—him, Seokjin, Tae, Jimin, Hobi, Yoongi, and Namjoon—that Seokjin has the nickname Worldwide Handsome because of his insane good looks, and it's been the running joke for as long as Jungkook can remember. He's pretty sure it was Jin's nickname even when when they were in grade school.
"Hey, so I have a question, hyung." Jungkook decides to just get on with it and rip the Band-aid off now rather than working the conversation up to it, because he has to be honest—Seokjin turns his knees into jelly a lot of the time, and Jungkook wants to preserve at least a tiny shred of his dignity while he asks his best friend's (insanely, otherworldly, and ungodly) hot older brother to take his virginity.
"What's up?" Seokjin asks, cocking an eyebrow in Jungkook's direction.
Jungkook takes a deep breath in and exhales loudly. "Do you wanna take my virginity?" he asks. Band-aid—ripped off. Skin peeled with it. Yep. Way to go, Jungkook.
Seokjin startles, and the shock of Jungkook's question causes him to choke on air and begin to cough up one of his lungs. He's sputtering, a hand against his chest in a fist as he slams it into himself once, twice, thrice. He looks at Jungkook, his eyes wide as saucers. "W-wh—what?" he stumbles out.
"Forget I asked," Jungkook says quickly, shaking his head. He goes to turn around to rush out of the kitchen, but he's stopped by Seokjin's hand on his arm. He lets himself be tugged back until he's facing Seokjin again.
"No, no," Seokjin says. He's no longer coughing or sputtering, which is good. He's schooled his expression into his signature handsome smolder (Jungkook calls it his resting flirt face ), and now he's looking at Jungkook, but Jungkook can see the curiosity swirling in his eyes. "Did you just ask me to take your virginity?"
"Forget I asked," Jungkook says again, but Seokjin shakes his head and tightens his hold on Jungkook's arm.
He pulls Jungkook in closer, just a smidge. He lowers his voice when he says, "That's not gonna happen. Now tell me, Jungkook-ah, did you ask me to take your virginity?"
Jungkook audibly gulps as he forces himself not to trail his eyes down Seokjin's face to his lips, which are so goddamn full and pillowy that Jungkook personally thinks it's a slight against humanity for Seokjin to look that. Couldn't whoever's in charge up there leave some handsomeness for the rest of us? he thinks. Damn.
"I asked you a question," Seokjin says.
Jesus Christ, Jungkook thinks. He blinks a few times before he nods shyly.
"Use your words," Seokjin orders, though his voice is low and warm, sending tingles to Jungkook's belly.
It's just your tiny crush on him coming out, Jungkook tells himself. He uses his words. "Yeah, I asked you to take my virginity."
"Why do you want me to take your virginity?" Seokjin asks.
Jungkook can't help the fact he enters a ramble. "Because I'm twenty-six, and I can't get laid—nobody wants a virgin, and I'm a virgin because I took that stupid vow in high school, but I told Tae last week that I'm rescinding the vow, because I wanna be able to make it past the first date, and none of my friends are… available—but then I thought that—maybe… Well…" He trails off, his teeth finding purchase in chewing the inside of his cheek.
"Yes? Finish what you were saying," Seokjin tells him.
"That maybe you'd—you know," Jungkook says shyly.
"I'd… what? Take your virginity?"
Jungkook swallows. He nods.
Something twinkles in Seokjin's eyes—is that… amusement? He's amused right now—seriously? Jungkook just asked him to take his virginity, and he's amused. Mortification sinks into Jungkook's bones.
He's pretty sure Seokjin is going to laugh at him and send him on his way. He braces himself for the rejection.
"Okay," Seokjin says.
Wait. What?
"I'll do it. But…" Seokjin leans in incredibly close to Jungkook, his breath hot on the shell of Jungkook's ear. "You have no idea what you're asking for."
Shivers jolt down Jungkook's spine as Seokjin pulls back.
"You have my number, no?" Jungkook nods. "Good. We can discuss the details later. I have to bring this soup to my brother and his husband."
Oh, right. The soup. That Seokjin's been cooking. For Taehyung and Jimin. Who are in their bedroom on the other side of this house, sick and feeling like death itself.
Jungkook has to admit he forgot about the damned soup the second Jin entered his personal bubble.
"Do you want some help?" Jungkook croaks.
Seokjin gives him an amused grin. "Sure, Jungkook-ah. Be a good boy and bring me a couple of bowls, please."
A small, tiny fire sparks within Jungkook's stomach, and as he moves to grab two bowls, he does his best to snuff it out, chalking it up to being nothing more than nerves at the face Seokjin agreed to take his virginity. It's definitely just nerves about finally getting to lose his virginity.
It's not until much later that Jungkook and Seokjin discuss the details of Seokjin taking his virginity—in fact, Jungkook doesn't let Seokjin bring it up until after Taehyung and Jimin are feeling better and have returned to work. After they both leave for the day, Jungkook sends a text message to Seokjin and asks him if he's free, then invites him over for the discussion.
Seokjin arrives shortly thereafter, a bag of fried chicken in each hand. Jungkook leads him to his bedroom, though he leaves the door open so he can hear if anyone comes home prematurely. The two of them sit on the cushions Jungkook has under his window, and dig into the chicken.
"So," Seokjin says a bit after they've started eating. He breaks the silence they've been sitting in and looks at Jungkook, who has his mouth stuffed full of the biggest bite of chicken leg he's ever taken. "You wanna get fucked."
Jungkook promptly chokes on his chicken, and he's pretty sure he sees the light—sees his life flashing before his eyes—as Seokjin rushes behind him to wrap his arms around him and performs a Heimlich maneuver to expel the clump of greasy chicken lodged in his throat. It takes a few seconds, and he feels like his ribs are being crushed from how harshly Seokjin is heimliching him, but finally, the chicken pops out of his mouth and flies across the room.
Gross.
He'll have to clean that.
"Thanks," he croaks, voice hoarse and throat raw. Seokjin hands him the glass of water that was sitting between the two of them, and Jungkook takes small, slow sips so as to not give himself the hiccups while he catches his breath. Finally, he wheezes out, "Jesus Christ, you nearly killed me, hyung!"
"How did I nearly kill you?!" Seokjin gasps incredulously, feigning offense at the accusation.
"Yo-you said that , and then I—I choked! I almost died!" Jungkook wheezes.
"I did not nearly kill you," Seokjin huffs, sitting back down in front of his own chicken. "I simply asked a very straightforward question regarding the reason I'm here, but you decided to off yourself rather than answer me."
"I did no—" Jungkook starts, but then he closes his mouth. "Anyways. Let's move on."
"Yes, let's," Seokjin parrots. He leans back against the wall, hands clasped behind his head as he looks at Jungkook. "As I was saying before… You wanna get fucked."
Jungkook freezes, his eyes turning into saucers. He wishes he could disappear right now. It's one thing to feel confident about how great of an idea it is to ask your best friend's hot older brother to take your virginity, but it's a completely different thing to have said best friend's hot older brother sitting next to you, looking like he just stepped out of a goddamn Gucci catalogue after being freshly sculpted by the Greek gods themselves, and hear him call you out on wanting him to take your virginity—and all while being so cocky and nonchalant that you can't help but wonder if it's a funny game to him.
"I'll take that as a yes," Seokjin says. There's a tinge of laughter to his voice.
"You must think it's funny," Jungkook mumbles.
"I mean, I won't lie. Yeah, it is funny," Seokjin tells him. Jungkook deflates into himself. "But it's only funny because you came to me to take it and not someone else. I would've thought for sure your friend—what's his name? Yugyeom?—would be jumping at the chance to get his dick wet on you."
Just hearing that makes Jungkook feel icky. He decided against Yugyeom because Yugyeom only fucks people he isn't friends with—and those he is friends with don't stay his friend after he adds them to his list of conquests. He shakes his head. "Yugyeom doesn't sleep with his friends, and I'm not interested in losing a friendship I value dearly just because I wanna get laid. I'm not that—" desperate.
"So you decided to ask your best friend's hyung?"
Jungkook chews on his lip.
"Here's how we'll do this," Seokjin says. Jungkook looks at him. "I already said I'll do it. I'll take your virginity—I mean, you might as well have begged me for it, and who am I to say no to someone begging for my cock?" Jungkook rolls his eyes, and begins to open his mouth to say something, but Seokjin cuts him off. "It is very amusing me how you thought me the best one to come to for your… predicament. But I have no issue helping you. I'm curious to see how tight and warm you are."
Jungkook's mouth drops, and he feels his cheeks and neck turn so red from embarrassment that it can't even be remotely funny. Did Seokjin really just say that to him? I'm curious to see how tight and warm you are. What the fuck—how is Jungkook supposed to respond to that? Is he supposed to tell Seokjin that he's curious to see how big and girthy Seokjin is?
Seokjin just stares at Jungkook, eyebrow raised and lips curved slightly in a smug grin. "Got you tongue-tied already," he quips. "You really are a virgin. This'll be a lot of fun, indeed."
"I—"
"Don't worry," Seokjin tells him. "I'll take it easy on you. We'll take it slow, do it step by step so that you don't get overwhelmed. Tell you what, let's make a list of everything you've done so far and then go from there."
"That'll be a short list," Jungkook mumbles, his eyes downcast. "I haven't really done much at all."
"You… haven't? Huh. Well, what have you done?"
Jungkook chews the inside of his cheek, his face burning hotter and hotter with embarrassment. "I've—kissed people before," he mumbles so quietly that he hopes Seokjin can't hear it.
"What was that?" Seokjin asks.
Jungkook repeats himself, again so quietly Seokjin can barely hear him.
Seokjin tuts. "No, no. Be a good boy. Use your words."
"I've kissed people, but that's it, alright?!" Jungkook huffs. He's so embarrassed right now. He can't believe Seokjin just made him admit exactly how inexperienced he is—for what reason?! So he can rub it in his face later when Jungkook is stumbling through the motions of Seokjin fucking him?
Seokjin wouldn't do that to you, Jungkook tells himself. It's why you came to him in the first place.
But then again… Jungkook knows Seokjin's reputation. Taehyung's brother is known for being both a ladies' man and a mans' man. He's known for the many, many, many hookups he's had in just the last few years alone. Jungkook knows that a lot of people, even Taehyung himself, would call him naive for asking Seokjin of all people to take his virginity. Seokjin hits it and dips. He's never been one to stay the night or get clingy or act all lovey dovey with the people he sleeps with. For Seokjin, it's purely sex, and that's it. He doesn't entertain any expectations past a mind blowing experience of his cock in you, and he doesn't have a preference for who he hooks up with. If you're hot, and you have two legs, the general consensus is that Kim Seokjin would probably fuck you.
Then again, maybe that's exactly why Jungkook has come to him for this. He's known Seokjin long enough to trust that he won't switch up in his usual ways. He'll tell Jungkook exactly what to expect—which Jungkook already knows he should expect to more than likely have a spiritual experience when Seokjin fucks him for the first time—and he won't change them on Jungkook randomly. He'll give Jungkook exactly what he says he will.
"You're embarrassed, aren't you?"
"Duh."
"You have no reason to be," Seokjin tells him.
Jungkook snorts. "Easy for you to say. You aren't twenty-six with your only experience being making out."
"Well, you're not wrong there," Seokjin agrees. "But you shouldn't be embarrassed—not with me. I'm here to make you feel comfortable, okay?"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, Jungkook-ah. I'm sure," Seokjin says.
Jungkook lets out a deep breath. "Okay. Sorry."
"No reason to be."
"One thing, though," Jungkook says quickly. Seokjin raises an eyebrow in questioning. "We tell nobody about this. Especially Taehyung."
Seokjin is quiet for a moment, and then he nods. "Alright. We tell nobody, especially my brother."
"So… How do you want to do this?" Jungkook asks.
"I'm gonna slowly take all of your firsts, Jungkook-ah," Seokjin says, and he's so calm and collected and nonchalant about it that Jungkook shudders when their eyes meet. "Better prepare yourself for a ride of a lifetime."
