Chapter Text
This story that will be told now is about a boy who lost his parents on the day he was born, not that he knows it yet, his name is Uzumaki Naruto and he is the most hated person in the village where he lives even though he is only eleven years old, so Lucky he can count on his few, but true, friends that he gathered throughout his years at the ninja academy.
The story begins on the last day of class before the final graduation test, Naruto was tied up after being caught trying to escape class, and as punishment the entire class would have to pay the price.
– Very well, as punishment everyone will have to do an extra transformation test. – Said Umino Iruka, a chunnin with brown hair and a scar above his nose.
– How unfair, sensei. – Inuzuka Kiba said, receiving agreement from his partner, a ninja cub called Akamaru.
– It’s the same thing every time. – Complained Yamanaka Ino, a blonde and futile girl with the ability to possess.
– Problematic. – That's all Nara Shikamaru said, the brunette was very lazy even though he was a genius.
– I'm already getting hungry. – Said Akimichi Choji, a chubby boy whose heart is bigger than his belly.
– No complaints. – The sensei cut off. – When I call, come to the front and perform the jutsu.
Each one who was called managed to make a decent transformation in the teacher's appearance, but when it was Naruto's turn he transformed into a completely naked female version of himself to try to seduce the teacher to get a good grade but he achieved the opposite extreme, he failed. , jumping later in the day Naruto could be seen at the Hokage monument next to Iruka.
– You won't leave until you clean up all the paint. – Iruka said, trying to sound irritated even though he knew why the blonde had painted graffiti on the Hokage monument, but as a teacher (and unofficial person in charge) he couldn't allow this type of behavior.
- And? – Naruto asked sullenly. – There’s no one at home waiting for me anyway. I'm not in a hurry. – He said, making the teacher feel bad.
– When you're done, I'll take you to eat ramen at Ichiraku on my own. – Umino said more gently.
– Really Iruka-Sensei? – Asked the little Uzumaki with a sparkle in his eyes, receiving a nod in agreement. - You are the best. – Said the blonde, returning to cleaning everything with more determination.
After a while the mountain was clean again and, as promised, the two were sitting at the counter of a humble ramen shop, one of the few establishments that accepted the boy. The owner of the place is Uchiha Teuchi, a survivor of the Uchiha clan who keeps his eyes closed to hide his bloodline.
– Naruto, why did you do that to the Hokages' faces? – Iruka asked, catching the blonde's attention. – You know very well who they were, don’t you?
- Of course I know. – began the Uzumaki, stopping to finish his bowl before answering again. - Everyone knows. They were the greatest shinobi of their time. – He continued. – The best of all. Invincible ninja champions. – He finished telling what he knew. – And the Yondaime Hokage was the one who saved the village from the nine-tailed fox, he was the most incredible.
- Then why? – Umino asked, trying to get to the root of the problem.
– Because I’m going to be bigger than all of them. – The boy replied without any hint of hesitation. – I, Naruto, the next Hokage, a ninja legend. – He continued pointing at his sensei with his chopsticks. – People will stop despising me and look at me, ttebayo.
With this answer Iruka was surprised, he knew of the boy's long-time dream of becoming Hokage, he just didn't imagine that it was just to be recognized by the village and stop being despised, and secretly deep down he was rooting for the boy's success.
– And there’s one thing. – Naruto began, a little afraid. – I wanted to ask you a little favor, sensei. – With that sentence Iruka was already prepared for any impossible or idiotic request he would make.
– Do you want another bowl? – He asked, trying to change the boy's focus.
– I... would like to try your bandana, please. – Said the blonde, putting his hands together in a sign of supplication.
- What? That? – The older man asked, putting his hand on his bandana, a little more relieved that it wasn't something impossible, but it was still something that couldn't be done. – No way, you will only be able to wear a bandana like this after you graduate from the academy and become a ninja. – Explained the teacher. – You need to pass the test tomorrow.
- That's not fair. – Said Naruto sullenly.
– Is that why you took off your glasses? – Iruka asked after a laugh.
– Oh, I want another bowl. – Said the blonde, still sulking, making his teacher laugh a little more.
After eating a few more bowls, Iruka paid for the meal and everyone went to their homes. As soon as he arrived at his house, Naruto took a shower to wash off the sweat from cleaning the Hokage monument and got ready to sleep, but the constant feeling of being watched prevented him from sleeping.
He almost always had this feeling, and when only one thing happened it made this feeling go away, after opening the window the blonde sat on the bed with his back against the wall and it didn't take long for a male silhouette with orange hair and a fox mask to appear. sit on the window sill with your body facing the outside.
It was almost a rite that the two created without even noticing, whenever the ambu Kitsune was responsible for the blonde's vigil, the two would talk about how each other's day was, it was through these conversations that Naruto learned about the ninja world, or better said , these conversations and the ambu mission reports that he read whenever he broke into the records room, almost never getting caught. The Sandaime knew about their friendship and did nothing to stop it, he believed that the two needed more contact with people of the same age, for that reason he put the young ambu to watch over Naruto as his main mission, with the exception of exclusive missions. of the “Kitsune Troop”, after all, both the ambu and Naruto were the same age.
– As far as I remember you have a test tomorrow. – He said the masked man. – Shouldn't you try to sleep?
- I'm nervous. – The blonde admitted, the masked man was the only one with whom Naruto was completely truthful. – Any advice, Arashi? – He asked the ambu who he knew both the name and the face.
- A hint? – He asked, putting his hand on his chin, thinking about what he would say. - Breathe deeply. – He finally spoke, making the blonde confused. – Negative emotions interfere with the use of jutsus, so take a deep breath to calm down before taking the test. – Hearing this answer Naruto was amazed for a moment.
– Only you could give me an answer that was right under my nose and I couldn’t see it. – Commented the blonde, opening a small smile.
– Now that you have your answer, go to sleep. – Arashi said, placing his index finger on Naruto's forehead, who soon began to feel heavy in the eyes. – Tomorrow you have an important day ahead of you. – He spoke gently, the Uzumaki hated it when he used the unconsciousness jutsu on him but this time he would be grateful, after all he could do the test in a good mood thanks to Kitsune, that was the last thing he heard before falling into a deep sleep and being placed in your bed by the ambu.
