“And the winner is Noritoshi Kamo!” the announcer calls out. Toge spits a wad of blood on the ground in frustration. He had been so close to winning, but Kamo was stronger than he thought. Two groups of people in suits came into the battle ring, each carrying a small black case. Kamo took his hand pulling him up, giving it a tight squeeze. Toge nodded to him in understanding. He would just have to trust Kamo would keep his end of the deal. The cases were opened revealing two thin needles; one with a red liquid and the other a yellow. Toge’s collar was rolled down as one of the people took the yellow needle and injected it into his neck. There was a sharp pain where it was inserted but it didn’t last long. Kamo was given the red one. The man gritted his teeth at the pain which made Toge feel a bit better. They were then escorted to a room off the arena where their parents were waiting.
Toge’s father had a disappointed look on his face, but his mother just looked nervous. “How are you feeling hun?” she asked as she dabbed some of the blood off his forehead. He turned away from her silently. Truthfully though, he was quite agitated. He was still mad that his parents arranged this marriage in the first place, now he was going to be an Omega. However, if Kamo kept his promise his new life would be bearable. He looked over to the man, soon to be his husband and their eyes met. You better keep your word! Toge tried to drill the words into Kamo’s skull.

A few days prior…
“Toge you are already 24,” his father huffed, “Your mother and I have decided it's time you got married.” Toge frowned, he didn't want to get married. Nor did he want to give birth to an air to the family. He was quite happy to live a regular life as a Beta. Who cared if he had the dynamic gene! Certainly not him! He shook his head in disapproval, which made his fathers hands clench in anger. “You don’t get a say in this! The son of the Kamo family is also looking for a partner, you will meet him tomorrow and I expect you to speak to him!” his father roared. “Honey,” his mother tried to calm down her husband, “You know he can’t speak, it’s not his fault, but he's a lovely boy. I’m sure the Kamo’s son will like his regardless.” “Don’t mess this up. Or you know what will happen,” his father said once more before storming out of the room, his worried wife following.
Kamo was just as Toge expected, an overly confident man flaunting his wealth. He was a year older than him, taller by a few inches, with long black hair neatly tied up and narrow eyes. The very picture of a strong dynamic. However, Toge did notice deep creases in the corners of the man's eyes. Kamo looked exhausted, but still he smiled and chatted with his parents like nothing was wrong. Toge hadn't been as successful freiging compliance. Kamo’s parents had asked him a few questions, but he wasn't able to answer. Earning him a disapproving glare from his father and both of Kamo’s parents. “Why don’t we give them a few minutes alone to get to know each other,” Toge’s mother suggested. Everyone filed out of the room, leaving a heavy feeling between the two men.
Kamo glared at him, “I have no intention of mating with you .” Toge huffed, crossing his arms. He didn’t either, there was nothing appealing to him about Kamo. “But… it looks like we can’t get out of this so I propose we find a way for it to at least be tolerable .” Toge couldn’t agree more. Of course he couldn’t exactly vocalize it. The silence seemed to poke unpleasantly at Kamo. Toge could practically see a vein popping out of the man’s temple. With an exaggerated sigh Toge got off the couch and made his way to the table near the door where he had seen a notepad. Carefully he jotted down some text and shoved it in Kamo’s face: *I agree.* This seemed to calm Kamo down a bit. He swatted the paper away unceremoniously, “Don’t wave that in my face. Here's what I was thinking…”
Toge and Kamo agree that no matter who wins they will bond asap. Then pretend they are trying for children. After a few years of the Omega not producing offspring they can file for divorce as ‘the agreement was not met’ and continue on with their lives as regular people. Meanwhile they won’t mess with eachothers daily lives and relationships.
It's not a perfect plan, but better than most options. And after bonding they will only react to each other's pheromones. They will practically be betas after the change besides rut/heat. Even then bonding would greatly reduce the severity of that. Neither of them were going to give up the position as Alpha however, so things would go that way the way their parents wanted. A traditional arena battle watched by whoever was deemed worthy to witness it. Toge thought he was a pretty good fighter and he would not go down easy.

The two of them barely had time to catch their breaths before Kamo’s mother was saying, “Let’s get these them ready for the wedding.” In what felt like no time at all Toge found himself in the front of an altar getting married to Kamo. The alpha ceremoniously held his hand as he said his vows. It offered little comfort. Toge remained silent through the whole ordeal as expected, occasionally nodding. His father would rip him a new one after this, but there was no way he could bring himself to talk. After an excruciatingly long ceremony where Toge had to accept congratulations from a bunch of people he didn’t know they were driven to a remote house their parents had purchased for them to ‘start life together’.
The house was very average in appearance from the outside, but once they stepped inside it looked like a photo from a high class magazine. Not an unfamiliar sight to Toge, but something felt off about it. What it was, he couldn't put his finger on it. “Alright you two have a good time, we will be back in a week or so. Just call us if you need anything.” There was a click as the door closed and a warning bell went off in Toge’s mind and he noticed there was no lock on the inside of the door. He rushed to the door and pulled on the handle as expected the door was locked. Their parents had locked them in here! He heard a bewildered gasp and Toge turned to see Kamo holding what appeared to be a window… Oh crap- all the windows in here were fake! “It appears our parents intend for us to mate as soon as possible,” Kamo said wearily.
Toge felt sick to his stomach. They had planned to spend their dynamic change apart and bond after to avoid the risk of hormones taking over and causing accidental pregnancy. Kamo wandered deeper into the house. “There are locks on the room doors,” he called out, “at least we can try to separate later. We should have a few days before the change hits. Plenty of time to prepare.” That was a blessing at least. Toge didn’t know much about growing into a dynamic. Since it was an expensive procedure to awake one it was only skimmed over in school lessons.
Toge picked out one of the rooms to put his stuff and curled up on the bed exhausted. He could hear Kamo moving around in the kitchen and soon the smell of food drifted in. Hesitantly, Toge shuffled into the newly renovated kitchen. Kamo was making some bacon and eggs. “They left us quite a bit of food,” Kamo commented, “Want some?” Toge nodded. He was feeling suddenly hungry. There had not been many chances to eat during the busy events of the day. Toge was about to jester to the man in thanks as a plate of food was passed to him when he began to feel dizzy and slipped off the chair. Kamo grabbed his arm, stopping the fall. “Are you al-,” Kamo froze with a shocked look on his face. Toge was wondering what was wrong. Then the smell hit him. It was musky with a hint of vanilla and delicious. Alpha! An unfamiliar voice in his head screamed.
In a span of a few seconds Kamo pushed Toge away landing on his butt and clutched his nose. Toge was still dizzy so all he could do was stare up at the man. Kamo was clearly struggling as a growl rose in his throat sending a shiver down Toge’s spine. Instinctively Toge reached out to grab the other man's leg and was promptly kicked away. “Don’t…” Kamo pleaded. Toge looked the man over, his eyes settling on Kamo’s groin, making his eyes go wide. An alarm bell went off in Toge’s brain. Crap. He realized their dynamics were already beginning to wake up. This was what this was. Their parents said it wouldn’t be for another few days… Toge was smart enough to figure out that was a lie. Much like most of this marriage had been. He wanted to escape to the other room and lock the door, but his legs wouldn’t move. A hot sticky feeling had begun to creep over his body. He tried to call out to Kamo, but the words wouldn’t leave his throat.
Kamo managed to pull himself up and stumbled towards the bedrooms. “Stay there,” he ordered. Toge stayed there, mouth flapping. Did he even have legs anymore? A wave of pain hit his stomach just as Kamo got the door closed. The lock clicking into place. A whimper escaped Toge’s mouth as his now present erection rubbed against the wood floor. Is this what being awakened was like?! How long would it last?? He couldn’t trust anything his parents had said. Toge humped the ground in a desperate manner. He wanted an Alpha. The words vibrated in his skull. Find Alpha . He dragged himself over to the door to Kamo’s room. He wanted to call out to the man and ask him to come back out, he didn’t want to be alone. But he couldn’t. He curled up against the door shaking with fever, unable to calm down. Eventually he drifted off in a fitful sleep.
There was a click as the door opened. Kamo hovered over the Omega, eyes dark, sweat dripping down his bare chest. He had tried his best to get a hold of his emotions, but the sound of Toge’s whimpering on the other side of the door and the constant influx of pheromones drew him out. He grabbed Toge by the collar of his shirt, dragging him into the living room. Toge clawed at the air trying to get hold of Kamo. The Alpha threw him on the couch and began to remove the remainder of his clothes. Toge grabbed at Kamo’s belt wanting him to hurry up. Kamo growled at him, but then paused , taking a steadying breath. “Inumaki, I can’t wait anymore,” he panted. Toge really didn’t really care at this point, he just wanted Kamo to fill him up and take away this pain. He spread his legs wide for the Alpha, slick already soaking his pants. Kamo gritted his teeth, “If we are going to do this I need you to tell me. I will wait, but not for long. I’m going back in that room if you can’t.” Toge whined. His rational mind understood why Kamo was asking him to do this. Mating wasn't part of their deal. But he wasn't sure he could do it.
Toge opened his mouth, letting it hang there a moment. Kamo didn’t seem like a bad person, but he found it hard to trust him. Trust anyone for that matter. However, his dynamic trusted the Alpha. His dynamic was part of him. He had just been awakened to it, but maybe he could trust it. Trust himself as he always had. Toge’s bottom lip trembled as he tried the words out on his tongue, “K-kkamo?” Kamo buried his face into Toge’s shoulder, swooning. Toge had a nice voice, deeper than he had expected. “Yes?” he prompted. “Ppplease mate w-with me,” Toge stuttered. Kamo squeezed him tight, “You did such a good job. Of course I will.”
Kamo tried to go slow. He was pretty sure it was Toge’s first time and he was pretty tight, the omega dynamic not being awakened long enough for many physical changes to take place. That proved impossible however as soon as his cock, rubbed against Toge’s wet entrance, his resolve crumbled. “Inumaki I’m sorry,” he said with a growl. He thrust deep into Toge making the younger man gasp in shock. The sex was rough at first, but soon Toge adjusted and was able to brace himself against Kamo’s strong movements. Toge wrapped his arms around Kamo trying to keep him close on this bumpy ride. The smell of pheromones was strong this close together. Kamo rubbed his nose over Toge’s pheromone gland. MARK HIM NOW! The voice in his head screamed. Kamo opened his mouth, vaguely acknowledging a dull throb in his canines. If he had looked in a mirror at that moment he would have noticed they had doubled in length. Then Kamo clamped down on Toge’s neck, blood squirting into his mouth as the flesh broke. Toge cried out as he reached his climax, spilling over the two of them. Kamo’s own climax was reaching its peak and it took all his strength to pull out before it happened.
The two laid beside each other panting. Kamo lazily licked the open wound on Toge’s neck. Clarity had returned to the man’s eyes, but there was still a high tension in the air. Both were sure it would happen again later and appreciated this moment of peace. “I’m sorry it ended up turning out like this,” Kamo apologized. “I-it wasn't your fault,” Toge assured him, “We were both lied to.” Kamo sighed. That was going to be a problem. Their families had shown their true colours and they were not pretty. Kamo had the brief thought of taking Toge away where no one could find them. “A-after this come live with me,” Toge whispered. Then his eyes widened in realization, “I-.” “Sure,” Kamo smiled at him, “We can get through this. And once we do, let's get far away from here.” Toge returned the smile. It wasn't the original deal, but he was confident the two of them could pull it off if they did it together.
