Work Text:
The sound of Lynn's rapid tapping on his keyboard fills the silence of the otherwise empty apartment. Ira had dragged a bashful looking Damao out by the hand somewhere, presumably the salon judging by the vampire's grumpy muttering about dog hair, Lily and Neil had gone out to the movies with Crystal and Momo while Abu and Luis were out on grocery duty. Nick's whereabouts were a mystery but Lynn had better things to do than worry about the demon.
"Lynn! I've missed you."
Ah. Speak of the devil and he shall appear. The angel glares at Nick as he climbs in through the wall, gracelessly crashing to the floor after his foot gets stuck.
"Can't you use the door like a normal person. Hell, even the window is a better option than staining my walls with your damned sigils."
Nick stands back up, dusting himself off before looking back at the wine-red sigil left on the wall, erasing it with a wave of his hand.
"You keep the doors and windows locked though." The demon raises an eyebrow.
"Exactly."
Nick shrugs before he changes out of his dress shoes and into his indoor slippers. Lynn holds back an exasperated sigh as the demon collapses onto the sofa beside him, taking in a breath and resuming his work.
After about ten minutes, Lynn feeling cautiously grateful to the demon's sudden well behaviour, he can't help but notice that he's being stared at. Snapping his head to the side, he catches Nick looking at him with an almost bored expression, not even bothering to glance away and pretend he wasn't openly staring after being caught. Lynn squints at him suspiciously.
"What?" Nick shrugs. Lynn's jaw clenches. "What the fuck do you want." His patience tends to run out quickly when around the demon.
"Mmmmmmwant you to kiss me." Nick replies with a sly grin.
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me."
Lynn pinches the bridge of his nose. "And why the hell would I kiss you, exactly."
"Because if you don't," Lynn watches in horror as Nick falls towards him, leaning all his weight into the angel’s side and pressing him into the arm of the sofa like a large dog, Lynn having to lift his laptop out of the away lest it topples out of his lap and onto the floor. "You'll have to deal with me all up in your personal space." He wraps his arms around Lynn's midsection as emphasis.
Lynn's grip on his laptop tightens. He considers using his halo against Nick, but he's already used it quite a bit today and doesn't feel like risking a killer migraine. His eyebrows stitch together in annoyance. Giving Nick what he wants is the easiest and quickest way out of this dilemma, unfortunately. Maybe a kiss on the cheek will suffice.
"Oh, and if you kiss me on the lips, I'll come over to wash the dishes for you for three days straight." Lynn glowers down at the demon as he grins up at him, Cheshire cat like.
"You are a pain in the ass."
"No, you're just easy to persuade."
Lynn pushes out a breath through his nose before grasping Nick's chin and pulls him closer, perhaps a little roughly though it's not like Nick is complaining, and presses a quick kiss to his soft, plush lips. Lynn faintly notes the demon's surprisingly refreshing, woody scent. He holds the kiss for about two seconds, trying to ignore the feeling of Nick smiling into it, before pulling away.
"Happy?"
"Very."
—
It's the weekend and the other tenants are gathering around in the living room to play some sort of game, while Lynn's in the kitchen doing chores.
"Lynn-laoshi! Come play with us." Ira calls for him.
"I'm washing the dishes."
The angel listens amusedly as the others groan and moan at his refusal until someone suddenly grabs him around the waist and pulls him away from the task at hand, pulling his gloves off after and tossing them into the sink. He gapes in shock and turns to come face to face with Nick. Lynn frowns and rolls his eyes. Of course, Nick is also here.
"The dishes can wait. Play a short game with us, angel c'mon." Nick grins as he guides him by the waist into the living room, tip of his tail swishing side to side delightedly. Lynn grumbles and huffs but sits down with the others anyway.
"What are we playing, then?" The angel sighs.
"Spin the bottle and if it points at you, you have to choose a piece of paper from this box and do what it says." Neil tells him as he holds up the box in question.
"Aihh.. Alright, let's get this over with, I have shit to do."
Ira reaches for the bottle and spins it. Everyone watches with bated breath as it slowly loses momentum and stops to point at Damao. The werewolf slightly deflates and hesitantly reaches into the box as it's extended towards him. He pulls out a crumpled piece of paper and reads its contents. Lynn believes if Damao's wolf ears were out, they'd be pressed flat against his head with distaste.
"What's it say, what's it say?" Ira asks eagerly.
"It... Says I have to wax my entire body... Do I have to do this?"
Ira snatches the paper out of Damao's hand and bursts out laughing, the werewolf frowning even deeper. "Bloody hell your luck's awful. I'm definitely helping you after this." He gives it back and pats the werewolf on the shoulder while still snickering. Neil spins the bottle next, hoping it'll land on Nick as he watches it slow to a stop. Instead, it points to Lynn. Even so, the young demon can't find it in himself to feel too disappointed seeing that this could be just as entertaining.
Lynn sighs, not bothering to dig around and takes a piece of paper off the top of the pile, unfolding it with a disinterested gaze. Neil notices his eyebrow twitch as he begins to read the instructions, watching as he has to unclench his jaw to read the text aloud, voice strained.
"..."kiss the person you hate the most"... God this is so childish." The angel pinches the bridge of his nose, crumpling the paper in his fist. He can hear everyone whispering excitedly.
"That's totally Nick."
"It's gotta be."
"I wonder who it would've been if he wasn't here?"
"Maybe Ira?"
"What?! The nerve..."
Lynn groans, dragging a hand down his face as he looks to the demon in question. Nick, damn him, is trying and failing at stifling a grin and practically bursting at the seams with excitement, tail thumping against the floor with loud giddy thuds. Seeing the demon so eager about this makes Lynn even more annoyed and gives him half a mind to kiss someone else just to disappoint him, yet also makes him feel oddly warm inside. He chooses to not acknowledge that last part and reaches forward, twisting his fingers into the front of Nick's shirt and pulling him closer, desperate to get this over with so he’s no longer subject to everyone’s staring.
Nick has the audacity to look smug and purses his lips, making the angel's face feel hot with humiliation and disdain. The others watch in anticipation as Lynn hesitantly closes the distance between him and the demon, cheering and whooping when their lips finally make contact. The angel intended to keep the kiss short and simple but Nick wanted otherwise, evident by the way he reaches up to cup the side of Lynn's face, tilting his head so their lips slot together more comfortably and subtly running his tongue along Lynn's bottom lip. The angel freezes, stunned by Nick's boldness.
Before things can get out of hand, which the angel knows they will with the way the other is trying to climb into his lap, Lynn quickly shoves himself away from Nick. He holds the back of his hand over his mouth, chagrined, and glances over to everyone else's expressions. He's a little relieved to know that he wasn't the only one taken aback by Nick's behaviour. Abu and Luis stare in bewilderment while Neil is red faced and slack jawed, eyes wide. Damao just looks impressed by Nick's brashness, whereas Ira has a wide-eyed look of pleasant surprise. The angel's feathers begin to bristle.
"Alright that's enough." Lynn snaps, slamming his hand against the floor, Nick chuckling under his breath as he moves back to the spot he was previously sitting at.
Everyone quickly regains composure lest Lynn smite them all and the game continues. However, Lynn and Nick can't help but steal glances, displeased and impish respectively, at each other every other minute, eventually losing complete interest in the game.
—
Lynn's phone starts ringing while he's reading in the living room. Grabbing it, he groans at the displayed name before answering.
"What do you want, Nick."
"Can you come over? I need help with something."
"No." He hangs up. Last time Nick requested him to go over to his apartment, Lynn ended up folding all his laundry and vacuuming. He's not doing that again. Unsurprisingly, his phone begins ringing again almost instantly. He sighs and answers it.
"Wow, rude." Lynn can hear the demon sulking on the other end.
"You making me do your house chores is rude."
"Oh c'mon, this isn't about house chores!... Not really. Please come over."
"Why."
The demon makes a noise of exasperation. "Just get over here! Don't make me beg, because I will and you’ll hate it."
Lynn grimaces. "Ugh, fine. I'll be there in 5." Nick thanks him before hanging up. He slips his phone into his pocket and slams his book shut. Might as well get whatever this is over with quickly.
A knock at the door. Nick makes his way to it quickly, grinning at the sight of the angel before him. He invites him in, sitting him down on the sofa, offering him tea and snacks. Lynn accepts the tea, taking a sip before asking the big question.
"Alright, what is it." Nick avoids his gaze. Lynn rolls his eyes.
"I'm assuming it's important. Spill it."
"Well... I wanted you to accompany me grocery shopping..."
"Are you fucking serious."
"Hey I'm not making you do it all alone, I'm just asking you to come with me!"
Lynn's feathers flare up. "Why can't you go on your own? Scared you'll get lost? Don't bullshit me."
To Lynn's slight concern, instead of looking offended, Nick looks a bit hurt and glances away. "... Because I get lonely. It's, uh... why I spend a lot of time at your place uninvited." The demon's face grows warm, a tad embarrassed. Lynn's feathers slacken.
He ends up feeling a little ashamed for snapping at Nick the way he did, albeit reluctantly. For all he knows Nick is spinning him a sob story to manipulate him into folding and going along. Whatever. He exhales and looks away.
"Fine... I'll go."
Nick perks up, ears twitching. "Really?"
Lynn nods once and sighs, setting his teacup down on the coffee table. "I could buy a few groceries myself anyway."
Nick beams. "Let me just grab my wallet and coat."
On the walk back home, grocery bags in hand, a light snow begins to drift down. Lynn tilts his head up to watch the slowly falling snowflakes, closing his eyes as he walks, listening to the crunch of snow under their boots, the swishing of their coats. Nick can't help but steal glances at the serene look on the angel's face.
He really wants to kiss him.
Nick’s cheeks flare up slightly at the thought, but it's not like this is the first time he's desired a kiss from the other, far from it really. While contemplating about kissing the angel beside him, an idea pops into his head. He clears his throat under his breath, trying to act casual as he leans in toward the angel, speaking in a hushed tone.
"Lynn, I gotta tell you something. It's important." The angel opens his eyes and glances at him through his peripheral.
"What?"
"It's a secret, you have to cover us with your wings." Nick whispers urgently.
Lynn frowns, confused. "There's no one else around, stop acting childish."
"We don't know that! Someone could be hiding nearby and eavesdropping."
The angel grumbles, annoyed, and half-heartedly wraps one of his wings around them. Nick shakes his head.
"No, no, both of them!" Clicking his tongue, Lynn wraps both of his wings around them, making sure to smack the back of Nick's head with one of them.
"What the hell is it." He asks through clenched teeth.
The demon leans in as if to whisper into his ear but instead he quickly turns his head last second and pecks Lynn on the lips, smiling uncontrollably afterwards and shaking with stifled giggles. Lynn stares at him dumbfounded, not entirely sure how to react. In the end, he smacks the demon with his wing again and pulls away, turning his face away so Nick doesn't see the slight blush rising on his cheeks as they continue walking back to their apartments. Nick continues giggling to himself.
"You are insufferable."
"I'm aware."
—
It's a little over half an hour until Chinese New Year, and the tenants of 1031 are walking around town, killing time before the fireworks show. Nick's tagging along as well, always rushing off somewhere and then shortly coming back to show Lynn what he bought. So far Lynn's been given a soft serve, small cakes and some firecrackers. The angel always huffs and rolls his eyes but deep down he finds it endearing and cute.
"Lynn!"
Lynn barely turns towards the direction of Nick's voice before a giant candy floss is obscuring his field of vision.
"Look at the size of this thing!" Lynn pushes the demon's hand out of his face.
"Yes, I can see that without you shoving it in my face."
Nick tears a chunk of it off with his teeth before offering some of the candy to the other. Lynn tears off a bit of the sugary fluff with his fingers, popping it into his mouth and leaving it to dissolve on his tongue, delicately licking the sugary residue off his fingertips after.
"It's nice."
"Right?"
The two continue strolling around, sharing the stick of candy floss and watching random strangers play various carnival games. After a while, Lynn glances down at his watch, raising his eyebrows slightly. "We have around 15 minutes until the fireworks begin, let's start looking for a spot to watch them."
"Wanna search for the others first?" Lynn takes a moment to think before shaking his head.
"No, we won't have enough time if we do. They'll be fine."
Nick shrugs and follows Lynn as he begins searching for a suitable place to enjoy the fireworks. While Lynn does this, Nick keeps an eye open for any of the others. Reaching the lake where the fireworks display is taking place, Lynn isn't surprised to see that the surrounding area is already crowded, though that doesn't stop him from frowning.
"What about over there?" Nick points towards a side of the lake that's not crowded but is further away from where the fireworks display is taking place.
"It's a little far, no?"
"A little bit, but the further away we are, the easier it is to see the whole show, yeah?"
Lynn hums. "Alright, we don't really have much of a choice anyway."
So, the two quickly make their way over, unfortunately not bumping into any of the others while slipping through the crowd. Soon, with a few minutes to spare, the two finally reach their destination. Lynn reaches into his bag and pulls out a small blanket, laying it down onto the grass. He pats the space beside him once he's seated himself on the blanket, inviting the demon to join him. Nick happily obliges, stretching his legs out on the grass. As Lynn digs around in his bag again to pull out some canned drinks, a loud bang goes off in the near distance. Looking up, he watches the first firework bloom in the sky before he glances over to Nick, catching his gaze. Then he smiles softly.
"Happy Lunar New Year, Nick."
Nick smiles back and reaches towards him, fingers caressing his jaw tenderly. "Happy Lunar New Year, angel."
Lynn doesn't pull away or put a stop to Nick's actions as the demon moves to lean in, allowing him to softly kiss him on the lips. A moment passes before the angel reciprocates the action, much to Nick's delight. As they share this moment underneath the fireworks and stars, neither of them is aware of the approaching footsteps until they hear the shutter sound of a camera behind them.
"So this is where you were! I've been looking for you two."
Lynn immediately pushes himself away from Nick and twists around in alarm, wings spreading out defensively. To his relief it's only Lily, though he drags his hands down his face in embarrassment knowing she saw them, not to mention took a picture of them. Nick leans back on his arms as he turns to greet the younger angel, brow slightly furrowed in what Lynn guesses is disappointment.
"Ah, Lily. The others not with you?"
"They're over where the crowd is. I noticed you two weren't with us so I went looking."
"Sorry you had to go through the trouble, Lily." Lynn smiles apologetically. The younger angel waves it off.
"There’s nothing to apologize for, gege! Really."
"Anyway, that picture you took of us. Can we see?" Nick butts back in, eager to see how it looks.
"Oh! Right."
Lily pulls the freshly printed film out from her Polaroid, fanning it around to dry the ink before passing it to the two men. They all huddle together to look at it, Nick whistling in approval. Lynn can't help but smile in pride of his little sister, always impressed and proud of everything she does.
"You two just looked really nice with the fireworks in the background framing you so wonderfully, that I had to take a pic."
"Damn. We should hire your sister as our future wedding photographer, man."
"Good god, shut the fuck up."
—
There's a knock at Lynn's bedroom door before it swings open, Nick strutting in like he owns the place, not bothering to ask whether or not the other is busy, not that he'd care either way. Lynn is currently sat at his desk, grading his students' homework.
The demon shuts the door and walks over to the bed situated in the centre of the room, flopping down on it to learn that it still has the stiffness of a brand-new mattress. Lynn's wings twitch but other than that he doesn't show any indication that he's acknowledged Nick's presence.
Nick hums, leaning back on his forearms and spreading his legs languidly. Then he proceeds to just stare at the angel, eyes boring into the back of his head. After a while Lynn slams his pen down on the desk and he swivels around with his chair, looking at Nick in disapproval over his glasses.
"Why are you in here. What do you want."
"Hm... I think you know what I want."
"Oh, do I? I can't recall."
With this, Nick shoots up and off the bed and his hands move past Lynn's peripheral to slam onto his desk, allowing him to corner the angel while looming over him. He leans in, eyes trained onto the angel's mouth, until their lips are a breadth away before parting his own to speak.
"Still don't get it?" He whispers, then leaning back and staring into Lynn's eyes, as if challenging him.
Lynn stares back defiantly, not breaking under the demon's gaze. He removes his glasses and sets them down upon the desk before speaking. "I have a good idea about what you may want."
"Oh yeah? You gonna give it to me, or..." Nick leans back in. "Must I beg you for it?"
Lynn's pulse quickens just a tick but he doesn't let that deter him. "Tempting, but then again you're a demon. Isn't that right?" Nick scoffs.
"You love playing hard to get, don't you? My suggestion was a joke but looks like I might actually have to commit."
Lynn raises an eyebrow curiously as he watches Nick lower himself to his knees, now kneeling between Lynn's legs. The demon gently grasps his right hand, bringing it to his mouth. The angel lifts his eyebrows when he plants a soft kiss to his palm.
"Please Lynn..." Nick turns the hand over and presses another kiss to the back of it. "Kiss me."
His lips move down to mouth along Lynn's knuckles, kissing those too. As he turns the hand over again, he glances up through his eyelashes at Lynn's face and smirks when he sees Lynn's furrowed brow and clenched jaw, the angel's face flushed a cute pink.
"You know you want to, angel." He whispers into the angel's inner wrist before kissing it with parted lips, sucking the pale skin lightly then gently running the tip of his tongue over the already fading pink mark.
Lynn's fingers twitch and Nick can pick up the sound of him swallowing, but he remains silent. Stubborn angel. Nick moves back to the palm of his hand, nuzzling it and breathing in the blonde's clean scent. His other hand subconsciously inches up Lynn's thigh, fingers squeezing and kneading into the flesh through his pants.
Nick's close to growing bored and about to just get up and leave when he feels a hand rest atop his head between his horns, fingers lightly curling against his scalp. Looking up, his heartbeat picks up with anticipation at the raw expression on Lynn's face.
"Come here..." The angel mutters through clenched teeth while tugging Nick up by the collar of his shirt, capturing his lips in a searing kiss. Almost immediately, Lynn pries open his lips and shoves his tongue inside. Nick groans, belly filling with a yearning warmth.
The chair Lynn's sitting in doesn't allow Nick to straddle his lap comfortably or safely, much to the demon's disappointment so instead he rests a knee between his legs, desperately wishing to be closer to the angel. He gasps into Lynn's mouth when the base of his tail is touched, quickly grabbing the angel's wrist and growling in warning. Lynn laughs into their kiss, other hand traveling up the vast expanse of Nick's muscular back and into his hair, gently wrapping his fingers around the small braid before threading them into the short hairs on the back of his head, tugging gently.
The demon sighs, mouth slack as Lynn explores the inside, tracing his blunt and short fangs with the tip of his tongue, humming appreciatively as he tastes Nick. The demon's hands grasp onto whichever part of the angel he can reach, brow furrowing as he struggles to not melt into the other's arms. Lynn notices him shivering under his touch and chuckles. Pulling away, he reaches up and caresses Nick's swollen bottom lip with his thumb, relishing in the dissatisfied whine the demon doesn't bother suppressing.
"There's your kiss." With that Lynn turns his chair back to his desk and resumes grading. Nick stumbles backwards back onto the bed, chest heaving and the tip of his tail grumpily thumping against the mattress.
"Now let me work." Lynn says over his shoulder.
"Asshole." Comes the breathy reply.
—
It's late at night when Nick hears a knock at his door. Muting the TV, he gets up from the sofa and wonders who it could be at this hour. The demon's shocked to learn that it's Lynn, of all people.
"Uh. What brings you here?"
"I just... felt like coming over."
"Huh. Come in then."
He moves to the side to allow the angel entrance, watching as the blonde drags himself to the sofa and drops onto it, entire body sagging into it as he quietly sighs. Closing the door, Nick makes his way back into the living room and stands before Lynn with his hands on his hips, noting how his clothes look slightly dishevelled, and that a few of his feathers are sticking out of place. His halo seems dimmer than usual too.
"You okay?"
"I'm just tired."
"Yeah, I can see that. You want something to drink?" Nick is already turning and walking towards the kitchen before Lynn responds.
"Sure, whatever you have."
Once in the kitchen, Nick grabs a bottle of white wine and a couple of glasses, setting them on the kitchen island. Lynn silently walks into the kitchen soon after, taking a seat at the island and watching as the demon's tail swishes about while he serves them both glasses of what seems to be a luxury wine, judging by the label. The corner of Lynn's mouth quirks up slightly after Nick seats himself across from him, sliding his glass over.
"Well, isn't this fancy." Lynn comments after accepting the glass, watching as the rich liquid swishes around.
"I'm good at my job, you see. I like spending my bonuses on treats like this." Nick replies, a humorous twinkle in his eye.
Lynn laughs lightly. He swirls the wine thoughtfully before sipping, letting the liquid sit on his tongue and savouring its sweetness. Nick simply observes him, occasionally drinking from his own glass. He really wants to run his fingers through Lynn's uncharacteristically messy hair but he refrains. Setting his glass down, the demon leans forward and drums his fingers on the island surface as he begins to speak.
"You wanna tell me what's keeping you awake this late at night? Cause I know your bedtime is like that of a toddler's."
Lynn rolls his eyes at the last part, swirling his drink absentmindedly as he answers. "I've just been overworking myself lately, I guess. Finished marking the rest of my students' papers and writing my thesis before I came over, actually."
"So why'd you choose to come over to my place instead of sleeping now that you have the chance?"
"... I'm not entirely sure."
Nick's eyes squint at the edges, suspicious. "I see."
Then both men fall silent, unsure what to do from here. After a short while, Nick can feel the other not so discreetly watching him and instead of locking eyes with him, he pretends he hasn't noticed and discreetly turns his head, gulping down the rest of his wine and making sure that the angel gets a good look at his throat as he swallows. He smirks when he hears a sharp inhale, now choosing to look at the other and poking the tip of his tongue out to lick the rim of his glass teasingly. Lynn barely manages to mask the unrestrained look of want and need behind his now energised eyes as his gaze burns into Nick's.
"I want you."
Nick momentarily freezes. He's been longing to hear those words come out of the other's mouth for months, and now that they finally have, he's unsure how to react. He never thought the day would come where Lynn openly confesses his feelings to him. The angel in question grins at his reaction.
"Speechless, are we?"
Nick rolls his eyes, cheeks warm. "I just never thought you'd be above your ego enough to admit that you like me."
Lynn clicks his tongue but still smiles affectionately. Setting his glass to the side, he reaches forward to caress his knuckles against Nick's cheek before moving his fingers behind his ear, lightly scratching the fur there to watch the demon melt. Lynn's eyes soften when Nick presses his cheek into Lynn's hand, turning his face and pressing a kiss into his palm. The angel runs his thumb over Nick's cheekbone as he builds the courage to ask something that he finally knows he wants.
"Can I kiss you?"
Nick Immediately grabs his hand and leans forward, failing to mask the desperation in his voice. "God, please, yes."
Lynn smiles and pulls the other into a kiss, reaching behind Nick's head to hold the back of his neck. Nick stands up from his stool so he can reach the other better, leaning over the island as he slides his lips along Lynn's. The angel sighs, hand moving from behind the demon's neck to his jaw, gently running his fingers over the stubbled skin. Nick desires to be closer, so he pries himself away with great effort and rushes around the island to the other side, reconnecting their kiss and licking into the angel's mouth the moment he's close enough.
Lynn turns around on his stool, spreading his legs and wrapping an arm around the demon's waist to pull him close, other hand burying into Nick's hair and keeping him in place as he slips his tongue into the other's mouth. The demon opens up wider to allow Lynn full access, groaning. Nick can feel the hand on his back drag lower before it rests against his ass, squeezing playfully. When he attempts to snake his tongue back into Lynn's mouth, the angel bites down on it and sucks, moving to slot a knee between Nick's thighs.
The demon shivers, clutching onto the island's edge behind Lynn to steady himself, being mindful of the other's feathers. He moans quietly when Lynn finally releases his tongue, legs almost losing strength as the angel drags his knee higher against his inner thigh and moves to mouth over the demon's throat. Nick leans his head to the side, fully exposing his neck for the other to do as he pleases, fully submitting.
He hisses at a particularly hard bite before exhaling slowly when pain morphs into pleasure, tail snaking around Lynn's calf as he begins sucking a deep mark into his skin. The angel drags his tongue over the bruised area before pulling away. one side of his mouth quirking upward, admiring his work as he runs his thumb over the hickey.
"Looks good on you." Lynn's smug tone makes Nick's pupils dilate.
"My turn." Nick growls lowly.
Grasping the angel's chin, he turns Lynn's face to the side and kisses down his jugular. Lynn simply leans his head back and closes his eyes, tugging Nick's shirt out of his dress pants so his hands can roam over the bare skin of the demon's back and sides. Nick's sounds are muffled into the angel's neck, pressing his body against Lynn's warm hands as he leaves a bruising kiss just below the angel's shirt collar.
Suddenly a shudder rolls down his spine, Nick almost failing to bite back what would have been an embarrassingly loud whine when he feels one of Lynn's hand inch towards his pectoral, thumb brushing just out of reach of his nipple. Lynn breaths out a laugh beside Nick's ear when he clicks his tongue at his teasing, lips brushing the furry shell.
"Why don't we continue this elsewhere?"
Lynn's hands continue wandering over his skin while he waits for an answer, lightly scratching down his spine and over his sides, making it difficult for the demon to form a coherent thought. His tail flicks the air as he attempts to answer.
"Mmh–... B-bedroom?" Lynn's chuckle tickles his cheek.
"Lead the way."
The angel ends up staying until morning, Nick tangled in his arms and pressed up against him the entire night. The tenants of 1031 are left to wonder where their landlord had wordlessly disappeared to upon waking the next day.
