Chapter Text
The dungeon hall was dark as every dwarf slept soundly.
His ears heard the typical snoring of his kin but it was the faint sound of a key turning and a lock unlocking that made his eyes jerk open.
He felt her unique presence before she even moved to softly touch his shoulder. It was that touch that sent an electric shiver through him, awakening every corner of his tired, sore body. The stone bed beneath his body was nothing short of uncomfortable.
"Kili" she whispered. He could hear the obvious hesitation in her voice.
Kili immediately lifted his head to find hers close enough that he could feel her warm breath against his face. He sighed.
"Am I dreaming?" he finally asked. “Because if I am I rather never wake up ever again”
She smiled and shook her head. The dwarf in front of her had a way with words.
"No you are not, prince Kili" she answered, pulling his black hair away from his face and behind his ear.
It was soft and thick, and…. she regained her control of her thoughts again and she immediately withdrew her hand. She was tired and her exhaustion contributed to her recklessness.
"Come with me" she ordered with urgency as he threw his feet over the stone bed and onto the ground. "Promise me that you will be quiet"
Kili gave her a hesitant nod.
"Can you tell me where we are going?" he then asked, confusion seeping into his voice and face as he looked at her.
He knew that what she was trying to do would not be approved by her kin. He was a prisoner and she was the captain of the guard. What she was doing could get her in deep trouble.
"Come with me" was all she murmured.
Tauriel did not say more because she herself was not fully aware of her intentions. She just knew she had to do what she had been wanting to do for a couple of days now, because not being close to him was slowly driving her insane.
Kili quickly and quietly put on his boots. In truth, he would follow her anywhere.
Once ready, he extended his hand towards her.
“Lead the way, my lady”
Tauriel smiled, looking at his hand. She took a step forward without breaking the eye contact that he held. Through the darkness she could see the bright, shimmering spark of recklessness in his eyes. Those brown eyes had captivated her from the second she met him.
“Do you trust me?” she then asked. Her whisper swam around them, filled with a hint of shyness.
He took the last step forward that had them standing even closer together. He smiled once again, nodded and took her left hand.
A shiver of something that could not be named by her busy mind ran down her spine at the feel of his hand on hers.
“You really are tall for a dwarf”
Her throat ran dry when he shot her a side grin. “Am I?”
Tauriel found herself unable to speak then so all she could do was nod her head because he had pressed his body against hers. The heat radiating from his body left her thinking inappropriate, unfamiliar thoughts.
“And you, Tauriel, smell so… good”
Tauriel chuckled then. “Surprisingly, you do as well”
Kili could not contain the laugh that escaped him. Her eyes went wide as she quickly reached forward and pressed her right hand to his mouth, quieting his laughter.
“We should go before you wake your kin”
“Agreed. But you haven't told me where we are going”
Tauriel then moved towards the exit, pulling him along. “And you have said that you trust me”
“I know I speak for anyone with a heartbeat when I say this. If a beautiful elven maiden such as yourself wakes you up and tells you to follow her, then you do as you are told”
“I thought you never do as you are told?” she asked with a teasing tone.
“Darling, you tell me what you want me to do and I will do it without hesitation”
She swallowed heavily then when he winked at her. She swore then that she had never felt the intense heat that spread around her body. She hoped that the darkness concealed the rosy color that was for sure staining her cheeks.
She cleared her throat trying to remind her body how controlled it should be.
“For now all I ask is that you move in silence”
Kili smiled with triumph as he nodded. He loved disarming her of that control she was so proud of. There in front of him, leading him down a dark hallway, was a strong elven lass who prided herself in being a formidable warrior. He had witnessed firsthand how skilled she was. Arrows moved at her command with expertise and deadly accuracy. Daggers danced and sliced the air in her quick, steady hands.
Kili loved the challenge of breaking through the walls she tried to build. Throughout their conversations she would try to no avail to mask her intentions. Kili still questioned hers, but never his own. She had his attention the second he set his eyes upon her. And before he could try to intervene with reason, she had captured his heart. Could he have captured hers as well?
Something that felt like hope and fear crawled on his skin. He looked at her then. She was quiet as they both walked the long corridor.
"Tauriel..." he began to say but stopped when he was suddenly pushed against the cold wall, a couple of feet away from a corner.
Tauriel looked ahead intently and then looked down at him as he heard what had alarmed her. Faint voices approached to their right.
The voices became louder and closer.
Kili could feel Tauriel's strength as she pressed him against the cold hard wall.
Her hands were against his chest and she could feel the hard muscle underneath. In the moment of potentially getting caught, the distracting spark he lit within her roared to life.
She tried to steady her breathing as she turned to look at him. She was close, just too close. Kili's heavy gaze fell down to her lips. They were inches away from his. He wanted nothing else then to taste them but tried to hold onto his composure.
Tauriel noticed his internal battle. She teasingly smiled and shook her head slightly.
She leaned in, feeling uncharacteristically brave, as the voices became closer and faint light could be seen. Kili would have been worried if it wasn't for the elf maid who started to whisper in his ear.
"I can practically hear your thoughts"
His mouth literally began to water as his heart rate dangerously spiked. He forced his hands to fall away from her, trying to keep his control in check before he slammed her into a wall and did what he had wanted to do for many days, which was to kiss her breath away and show her what dwarven stamina looked like.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw the guards walk down the intersection of the hall. He held his breath as they both watched them pass by with torches in hand and having a loud conversation.
"They… they're gone" Kili managed to whisper. She nodded quickly. His face was leveled with hers and she bit back the temptation of closing off those few inches.
Not in here, she thought to herself. She sounded so desperate to herself, and she shook her head slightly as her thoughts wondered to places where they had never gone before.
"I should also slam you into a wall. To keep it fair" he cheekily suggested as she reluctantly retreated her hands away from his alluring chest.
She raised her eyebrow and laughed into her hand.
It was such a beautiful laugh. It was a sound that quickened his heart beat and made him feel good about life. How strange that thought was, even to him.
"I would have a blade pointed at your neck before you took the first step, dwarf"
Kili also loved it when she tried to be tough with him.
"Darling, I can be fast" he answered back with a small suggestive grin as he crossed his muscular arms and her eyes were drawn to them. How would it feel to be in those arms? She shook her head at his rather suggestive tone and to shake the tempting thoughts away from her lingering mind.
"Well aren't you so full of yourself?"
But even then she had to admit that his tone made her heart accelerate and her knees shake underneath her.
She wasn't much taller than him at all in fact he got well past her shoulders and far up her chin, so he could definitely pin her against the wall, he thought. But before he could actually try out her challenge, she spoke.
"Come, we need to move before someone else comes this way" she ordered, grabbing his hand once more.
"That is so unfair and you have not told me where we are going" he pouted as his dramatics were at play. His brown eyes sparkled with something playful wandering in them.
She softly laughed again at his childish dramatics.
“Trust me and follow” was all she said.
They did not walk too far as they finally came upon a tall wooden door. She took out a silver key and slid it in, pushing on the door with great effort. He quickly helped her and it was evident that it had not been opened in quite some time as dust fell everywhere around them.
The door opened slowly. White light showered upon them as he squinted his eyes. She walked out without saying a word and he followed. They closed the door with more effort than it took to open it and she locked it once again from the outside.
His questioning eyes then fell to hers. She knew he was confused and did not know what she was wanting to do. She herself wasn't fully aware of her own intentions. She could not believe what she was doing.
She took a quick breath to strady her nerves.
She was actually doing this... and she was not dreaming. But she had grown tired of dreaming about him. She needed him more than she allowed herself to admit. She had thought it impossible to love him, but all those sleepless nights being awake and thinking about him confirmed that what she felt was not mere infatuation but maybe it was love. And she would put that to the test but the fear of the foreign feeling left her cold with uncertainty. She froze unable to take another step.
“Tauriel”
She looked up.
He could see the internal battle she fought. He was feeling the same way.
“Take a deep breath”
Tauriel swallowed once and obliged.
Kili smiled and reached forward to brush away a strand of her hair away from her face. With the softest of motions he placed it behind her ear.
“This hair of yours…” he began. He wanted to bury his hands in her hair. It was the color of a red firemoon. It was bright and it reminded him of an autumn, cold day.
“Finish your sentence” she whispered, obviously teasing him.
He chuckled and shook his head. “Its difficult to think coherent thoughts around you. Finishing sentences is a grueling task”
Her eyes were wide then. It was the first time he had voiced how he felt. It mirrored her own thoughts on the subject.
“Why?” she asked. She was hoping for an answer. She hoped he had the courage to voice his intentions out loud because she was unsure she could.
“You first”
Tauriel stood still and her entire body became numb. She could run into danger without hesitation but voicing her feelings was making her shiver with fear. Kili stood there, expecting her to speak. His eyes were warm and inviting but she could not say what she was feeling. She could only show him.
"Come" she then softly ordered, tearing her eyes away from his as she led the way.
Kili knew it was difficult to talk about the matters of the heart. He knew it was scary to label feelings. But he followed her without hesitation. Truth be told, he would follow her anywhere. And that thought scared him because as soon as that thought entered his mind, Thorin’s opinion on his current actions planted another fear.
They walked through the forest without speaking as it became thicker and darker. There was no noise surrounding them, only their faint footsteps could be heard. Kili's footsteps were not as quiet as hers as he struggled to miss obstacles in the path.
He looked ahead of him and stared in awe at the red hair gently swaying in the breeze and then up to the moon and the stars that were shining above the vast tree branches. It was surely a beautiful night.
"Watch your step, we're almost there" she cautioned him as the ground became harder to walk through. Vines, logs and leaves covered the floor which made walking without effort a great challenge. But Tauriel moved with ease. She was light on her feet and Kili noticed that she moved in an ethereal manner.
How can everything about her be so… captivating?
His mind was too occupied that he did not notice a thick tree root blocking his path. He cursed as he tripped but managed to regain his balance.
Tauriel quickly turned around with concern.
"I'm fine…" he harshly sighed with annoyance and slight embarrassment.
But at his next step he tripped and fell. Her laughter rang through the forest, as he cursed once again in his dwarven tongue. He looked up and scowled even though her pretty laugh made his heart quicken.
"Are you.. alright?" she managed to ask in between laughs.
"Well aren't you so amused?" he grumpily asked as she walked over to him offering him her hand.
He looked up at her and raised a brow. Before his mind had time to stop his recklessness, he grabbed her arm and pulled her down. She gasped in surprise as she fell on top of him.
She couldn't get up, even if she wanted to. Matter of fact, her entire being begged her not to get up.
"I told you I could be fast" he reminded, a triumphant grin began to spread on his lips.
Her gaze fell to those smooth lips of his and suddenly felt like a fish out of water. She wanted those lips on her skin. She wanted them everywhere. Valar… she needed to stop.
With a quick shake if her head, she tried to mask the sudden rise of heat with anger.
"You are going to be a dead dwarf!" she threatened but her breath stopped in its tracks.
He leaned onto the side of her face and caressed her cheek with his.
"I can practically hear your thoughts" he whispered, as his lips grazed her ear. “Tell me what thought crossed your mind”
Tauriel bit her bottom lip to sustain a moan. She could feel herself losing every ounce of control regardless of her effort to hold onto it.
Strange heat began to travel down to her stomach and it stayed there. She felt her breathing accelerate as her heartbeat sped up.
She finally did what she had been tempted to do all those days before and her right hand flew to his face and it skimmed over his strong jaw. His stubble poked her fingertips, but it was the most wonderful feeling she had ever felt. Her index finger found his lips as he too felt the air being forced out of him. How strangely wonderful it was that her single touch made him feel dizzy and particularly reckless.
Her thumb skimmed over his bottom lip and felt her mind become dizzy with the image of his lips kissing hers.
"Are you so sure that you can read my mind?" she teased, moving her hand to his surprisingly soft hair.
He proceeded with the task of making her loose her mind as his right hand traveled over her curves and down to her hips. His touch was full of purpose yet she could feel the slight shyness in his hold. He was clearly nervous, but she gave him courage. He reached her ear again.
"I have never been so sure" he playfully whispered. “Do you want me to show you how fast I can be?”
She closed her eyes as she felt his lips delicately go up and down the surface of her ear. She shuttered and fisted her hand as she had never felt something so magical. She was already lost in the heat he created in her when she suddenly felt him lightly bite the tip of her ear, making a moan escape from her lips. And that was when all control flew away from her and she did not want to take it back.
She jolted her eyes open that had shuddered closed, as she grasped him by the shoulders and rolled him on his back so fast that Kili felt his heart come to a stop.
She was suddenly straddling his legs and leaned in, her eyes were dark with desire. Kili smiled wide and was deemed completely speechless.
"I'm faster" she declared as she slammed her lips to his.
She felt the world fall away, as if nothing existed, only the two of them and their growing necessity to have each other. When Kili had time to register the situation he grabbed her hips and pulled her closer. His tongue grazed her bottom lip which made her gasp into his mouth. They deepened the kiss as his hands went to her hair. He wanted his fingers completely tangled in the long locks.
Their tongues pressed and tasted. Kili could not believe he was finally allowed to understand how it felt to literally steal her breath away. He could feel her wandering hands everywhere as she was desperate to have him all. This realization made his heart quicken. She wanted him as much as he wanted her.
Tauriel’s mind became too clouded with something unfamiliar but so pleasant. The sensation of his touch was almost too much to bear. The fire she felt in her was so foreign but she wanted to get burned. The constant battle she had to suppress her feelings was too exhausting. She needed to give in.
The cruel need for air dawned on them and they pulled away, gasping for precious oxygen. They were wide eyed as they both looked at each other. There was definitely no going back now.
"Kili... I" Tauriel gasped trying to make her brain function again. She tried to piece together words but uncertainty and fear began to surface. “I…”
Kili smiled at her loss of words. He knew how she felt. He also felt uncertainty but it also felt right.
"It's alright to feel fear but do not let it interfere with what you want" he simply said, with a deep breath.
Her breath caught at her throat at his words.
He suddenly flipped them over, his strength taking her by complete surprise. Her back was suddenly on the floor, and she could feel the soft uneven grass at her back. He started running his lips across her forehead, and then made his way down the bridge of her nose. Slowly, as if they had all the time in the world, he pressed soft kisses across her right cheek, then to her left one. She felt her eyes close when he pressed a soft kiss to her lips. The pure softness and delicacy of it made her eyes sting with tears. He was being so delicate and loving that it made her heart flutter.
"You spoke of starlight the other day" he said against her soft jaw and her toes curled at the sweetness of his voice. "I don't think I can agree with you. I think you are vastly more beautiful"
His movements were purposefully slow and tender, so unlike the raw and frantic moment they had just shared.
But then his tongue and teeth skimmed her collarbone, and she could feel the fire once again roar to life. She smiled with her eyes closed as she could feel her body tremble.
"I am going to become addicted to your mouth" she then said as her hands pulled at his hair.
He smirked. “My dear, I can show you the very reason why you should”
Yes please.
Delicate and soft gone, he slid down further and further, as her hands went to the clasps of his leather duster. Her hands were urgent to touch his skin, to feel him. She moaned out loud when he skimmed over her cleavage, and then the fire roared to life.
His lips went to hers again, as fireworks seemed to go off in his head. She undid the last clasp and she then was quickly taking off layer after layer. He did the same, quickly racing to untie the laces of her tunic. His tongue was busy mapping her mouth, but he was really good at multitasking.
His chest was suddenly and gloriously naked and she ran her hand through his dark chest hair. The feeling was so foreign to her yet it felt so amazing. His skin was like a hot forest fire fueling her more with heat. He was so well built and looked like nothing she envisioned a dwarf to look like.
His skin was tanned and she could see the hard muscle underneath. Her mouth became utterly dry at the sight of him.
He finally did manage to get her leather tunic, and inner layers off. And soon her pants also accompanied the small pile of clothes to their left. His eyes turned a darker shade of brown as he saw her over, her shapes and curves were mouth watering. She was beyond what words could describe. Her skin was so pale and flushed but so soft. Her breasts were absolutely perfect and round. He desperately wanted to kiss her soft and strong thighs. And one look in between them had his entire body burning with feverish desire. He wanted to taste her. She looked like a dream and he was going to make her his.
She saw the way he looked at her then and realized she had never stood before someone naked and as exposed as she was now.
"Kili" Tauriel then gasped, as her desire for him grew too strong, but the fear that insisted on overtaking her, came back. She was stepping into unknown territory. She had never done something so intimate and suddenly she was terrified.
Kili saw her demeanor change and stopped at once.
“Tell me what you're thinking” he whispered.
“I have never done this…”
Her eyes searched for any type of disappointment at her hesitation but found none. Her heart fluttered with reassurance.
“I would never force you into anything you are not ready for or do not want to do. We can dress and look at the stars instead”
Tauriel smiled. He made her feel so safe and not judged at all. For someone who was young he was beyond his years.
She brushed her fingertips across his chest. “Kili, this world is undeserving of you”
Kili chuckled and shook his head. “Trust me, darling, if anyone or anything is undeserving, its me. I do not deserve to have you underneath me right now”
“I wouldn't want to be anywhere else”
He saw her eyes darkened.
"Are you sure of this?" he asked carefully. His right hand slid down to her bare hips. Her eyes closed on their own accord as she gave him a firm nod.
She smiled slowly and looked up at him with determination.
"You silly dwarf" she whispered as both of her hands were exploring his chest. "I have never been so sure of anything in my life. Truthfully it's too late to go back now because this heat I feel in my body will not let me sleep”
Kili shot her a side grin that was so characteristically charming.
“Is that right?”
Tauriel nodded. Her very naughty right hand abandoned his chest and chose to go south. His toned abdomen left her in awe but it was what he possessed lower down that had her at a loss of both words and thoughts.
He was clearly aroused and ready for her.
“Do you feel that?” he asked once again, letting his lips caress her right ear. She closed her eyes and nodded.
She could feel the hardness beneath her hand. She knew enough to know what that meant.
“Do you want it inside of you?”
Tauriel’s breath caught at her throat. She forced her heart to beat once again but her breaths were unsteady.
“Do you?” he asked once again. That time he pressed himself to her.
“Kili” she murmured with desperation. “I need you to take those pants off… now”
That was the permission he needed. He quickly slammed his lips to hers again, and his tongue searched for hers. Passion and surging heat ran freely through his veins, as he could feel her desire grow even more stronger. His hands went to her breasts, round and perfect, while her hands went to his back, and he basically purred when her fingernails ran up and down, raking at his skin. She then brought her hands to his toned stomach, and journeyed down once again obviously trying to take off his pants.
But he grinned with clear mischievous intent. Before she could go any further he grasped both of her wrists and brought them to rest above her head.
Her eyes narrowed but he clearly chose to ignore her annoyance and quickly lowered his mouth to her neck. Anything she would have said got buried deep down as the only sound escaping her were quiet moans.
And it was those moans that were surely to become Kili’s favorite sound. Those moans became louder as his mouth moved down to her breasts. He released his hold on her wrists but even then she did not move them away from where they were because he had his mouth taking away any sense of coherent action.
The sensation of his beard against her skin had her toes curling but her body was left feeling like it was floating when he took a nipple into his mouth and began to suck.
“That feels amazing” she whispered. Her eyes were closed in bliss as her back arched at how good it all felt. His tongue was warm and his hands on her body made her head feel deliciously dizzy.
His mouth then ventured down the valley of her breasts leaving a wet trail before his lips slid down her toned stomach and stopped just above her navel.
“Your skin is so soft” he whispered in awe. She was warm underneath him even as a cold breeze blew around them.
"Is this… payback for not giving you a we…. a weapon? You're choosing to drive me insane?"
Her voice shuddered and collapsed with the riveting lust he made her feel. Kili chuckled and nodded.
“Certainly, my lady. That is my goal”
His eyes twinkled at the sight of her and she felt a shiver run down her and settle deep inside as she saw the way he was looking at her.
She lost her train of thought when she felt his palm skim over the inside of her thigh. His calloused hands were strong but they felt like the caress of a feather against her skin. Her eyes did not leave hers for one second.
"I want you to scream my name" he teased, looking at her with a small grin.
She bit her tongue with anticipation when his fingers climbed her thigh, so close to the source of the damp heat she was feeling.
“So wet” he murmured. “I wonder what you taste like”
Before she could ask what he meant, he leaned down and with a slide of his tongue he went down her left thigh, as he thought of everything he wanted to do to her. She felt like a dream and he could not believe that he was actually awake and she was there in front of him making the best noises his ears have ever heard.
Tauriel grabbed at the grass on the ground when she felt him come up her thigh so agonizingly slow, and then his tongue was suddenly there. Her moans were surely driving his feverish passion as he tasted her. He added his finger to the mix and she gasped when it was inside of her. She cursed in her language and curled her toes as he moved his fingers deeper.
This was certainly something she had not heard about. What else could he teach her?
“Kili” she murmured. It was the only word she could formulate.
He added another finger in as she moved her hips to his rhythm, biting her lip at the tightness she could feel. She turned her head to the side as the pleasure was driving her off the edge of the world. Her hands turned to fists and pulled out the grass by their roots as she cried out his name. She could see stars dancing around her vision.
It was the sweetest pleasure she had ever felt. Shivers ran up and down her body and she began to whisper his name repeatedly.
She arched her back when Kili's mouth began to climb up her body again.
She was barely breathing when he pressed his lips to hers as he straddled her again and she could taste herself on his tongue. She could feel his hardness against her, he wanted her as much as she wanted him. She grabbed onto the pant's laces and pulled, annoyed that it was not going as fast as she would like to. He almost laughed when she gave out a frustrated noise against his lips.
"Its not funny" she then hissed, trying to speak clearly. "You are not fully undressed…"
"I agree..." Kili then whispered, his hands buried in her hair. "Its not fair"
He thankfully bestowed mercy upon her and quickly undid the familiar laces and he too was naked.
It was a sight to behold for sure. Tauriel blushed immediately at the sight of him and almost felt the need to suddenly look away but her mouth became dry and her body began to beg for him as if it knew what to do and what it wanted. She lacked experience but her eyes blackened and she wanted him inside of her... Now.
"Impressed?" Kili asked following her stare.
His breath caught at his throat when she moved him to the side. His back hit the floor and she did not waste a second and climbed on top of him. She licked her lips as she felt the delicious press of his arousal against her own.
“You are smug and too prideful, dwarf”
Kili chuckled and reached to grab her face but she expertly moved away just in time. He narrowed his eyes and looked down to her lips that formed a teasing smirk.
Before he could say anything else, she ran her hand down his toned stomach, following the trail of hair, and felt herself smile once more when he visibly gulped. She knew she caused his heart to beat faster.
She grabbed his member, wrapping her fingers around his thickness and leaned into his ear as he moaned and gasped. He was fully out of control of the situation.
Mahal... she was perfectly deadly.
"Do you want to talk about fire moons?" she happily teased, as she moved her hand down his length, which was quite impressive. He was pretty sure he was going to die as his heart stopped beating. She ran her nail up and down and an animal like growl escaped his mouth.
"Or do you want to talk about getting your precious bow returned to you?" she asked as he shook his head. Mercy was thrown out the door as she licked her lips and Kili could just stare at her dumbfounded. She was clearly enjoying her teasing. He bit his bottom lip as her fingers skimmed over his tip a few times.
"Or do you…." she whispered, kissing his lips once and then began to kiss a trail down his neck. "want to talk about..." she then went to his collarbone, and bit him, like he did to her. It was Kili's turn to see the stars, as he felt her lips slide down his chest and then to his abdomen where she pressed an open mouthed kiss. She was still holding onto him, and he was really thinking that maybe he was wrong when he thought that he had disarmed her, when in fact, she was in full control.
She was at his navel then "that one time you tried to make me jealous?"
He had talked to her about a dwarven lass who was after him like he was after adventure.
"She was actually…. kind of pretty" he admitted, and he growled as he felt her tightened her steady grip on him. His moans were ragged as he could not breathe properly.
"She was?" she asked, venom dripping in her voice.
"But there's no one like you" he managed to lovingly whisper, and then moaned again, when he felt her mouth take him in. She could not even stop to think of her actions because passion drove her. He was sure he was going to wake everyone and everything up from his loud moans and growls that escaped his mouth.
Her tongue at his tip threatened to make him black out. He could not last any longer. He needed her. He managed to regain his senses and grabbed her soft shoulders as he flipped her to her back and once again kissed her senseless. His tongue was warm against hers and she felt dazed and dizzy with desire.
"You are one of a kind" he admitted in between breaths.
He positioned himself on top of her as he slid in slowly, but she impatiently grabbed at his hips and brought him all the way down. Her gasp was loud enough for an echo to commence. It was painful but the pain was quickly erased as pure pleasure rolled in and her eyes closed.
"Kili..." she moaned as he made her forget her own name. She wrapped her arms around his neck and held on for dear life.
They moved in rhythm as he filled her in ever so wonderfully. She grasped her ankles around him as he rode her to wonderful places. Her nails scratched at his back as she pulled him even deeper. Their thrusts became faster and more desperate as passion finally burst in them. Her moans were right at his left ear and were only encouraging him on.
She opened her eyes as she could feel everything cave in. He was not far behind either. They locked gazes, and he touched her cheek, as tears rolled down her ivory skin. His eyes were so full of passion and love that she could not keep her tears from falling. Intimacy was a sacred act among elves and Tauriel could not believe she had found someone she had fallen in love with to give him her heart and her body.
She closed her eyes and the now familiar intensity washed over her. She gasped out loud saying his name. The way she was saying it would have been enough to take him over the edge as well. He was not far behind. He grabbed at her wild hair and kissed her senseless. He saw black spots pulsating in his eyes as he filled her. She moaned at the strange wet sensation and kissed him back with equal passion.
He leaned into her, fatigue washing over him, but was brought up again quickly by her hands running up and down his back. Her touch was strangely magical and had him breathing slowly.
"Wait...did I make you jealous?" he asked moments later, curiosity seeping into him.
She laughed and he smiled when he felt the vibration of her beautiful laugh run through him as well. His head laid at her chest so he could hear her steady heartbeat, which was so interesting to listen to.
"Ohh… you just can't help yourself can't you, that is the question you ask after what we just did?" she asked him smiling as her hands went through his hair.
"Ahhh… so I did! You, my dear Tauriel, are avoiding the question!" he grinned as he moved to lay down on his back next to her. He lovingly placed his arm under her head and brought her close not wanting to be without touching her for even a second. He pressed a kiss to her forehead and looked down at her flushed body.
“I can move away if you need to cool down” he suggested.
"Stay" she lovingly ordered, putting her arms around his neck.
"Yes ma'am"
His wandering right hand went to her breast, brushed her nipple with his finger, and smiled when he heard her heart skip a beat.
"You're still avoiding it" he reminded her as his fingertips skimmed down to her hip.
"And you are doing a great job of distracting me, my love" she whispered, as he swallowed at the fact that she had called him that.
"I still think I'm dreaming Tauriel"
He looked up to her as he found her staring up, trying to look past the branches and at the stars. He could see her neck and smiled proudly when he saw red teeth marks and bruises beginning to invade her pale skin.
"Yes" she suddenly said still not looking at him and looking up at the sky.
"Ahaa!" he responded his cheeky smile spreading widely when she had answered his question. She looked down at him and shook her head, and rolled her eyes.
"I could not handle the idea of someone else looking at you the same way I look at you, you idiot. Of course I was jealous”
She held onto him tighter.
“Stop looking so proud of yourself, dwarf!" she spat, trying to bite back a laugh.
"No wonder you were so quick to leave that conversation"
Kili’s smile spread from ear to ear. He poked her side and chuckled into her hair.
"Kili, don't poke me again, or I'll poke you with my dagger!" she threatened as he could not stop smiling.
"I actually like it when you act so tough, and let me tell you, looking at you shoot arrows would make anyone feel lightheaded" he admitted as he kissed her shoulder which was covered with freckles.
She rose with a grin dancing on her lips and started to reach for their clothes and without a warning she threw his tunic towards him. With a laugh he expertly caught it before it hit him.
"I don't act tough my dear dwarf. I am tough" she announced as she laughed once more as they both started to dress.
He had to pause and look at her because she was just radiant when she laughed. He bowed to always make her do so. Her cheeks were flushed, and her lips were swollen due to his expert lips, and her long hair made her shine with red eddies surrounding her, she was so… mesmerizing. The mere thought of never seeing her again made him so desperate. He could not bear the thought of saying goodbye but he knew it was soon to come.
"I love you" he blurted out unexpectedly. He needed to say it out loud because he did not know what the future held. “I have fallen in love with you Tauriel and I don't know if I can stop… or if I would even want to”
Tauriel swallowed heavily. He had been the first one out of them both with the courage to say the words. Kili looked at her with those brown eyes that could melt gold.
She sat up to meet his heavy gaze. He followed suit.
"Can…. can you please repeat that?"
"I'm in love with you, I have been since I first saw you. Not knowing if you were possibly real worried me more than the giant spider dying next to me. Your hair is so beautiful as well as your green eyes, kissing you is like being reborn and you… and you are too good to be true"
She stared at him, wide eyed, she wasn't sure if her heart was beating or standing still listening intently at his words. His eyes were sparkling and she drew in a slow breath and tears surfaced in her eyes. She sat down fully dressed on the forest floor unable to stand. The way he looked at her was so devastating and her body felt like it was melting.
"The kindness in your heart and love for the stars has made me a victim to your charm" he continued, dropping to his knees in front of her. "You are driving me insane with so much love, lust and passion. I think my heart is about to explode"
Her tears that had surfaced fell down her cheeks. She sniffed away her emotion and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek.
"I"... she breathed as she kissed him again, "love" he gasped at the word as she pressed yet another soft kiss to his lips, "you"
He felt his heart leap out of his chest because the word love sounded so beautiful in her voice.
She loved him too.
He wanted to scream it so every corner of the world could hear it.
She loved him.
He grabbed her then feverish delight and kissed her. He poured everything that he was into that kiss.
"And I have loved you since the moment you stared at me wide eyed" she whispered against his lips as she placed her hands at each side of his face. "You make fire moons sound so beautiful"
She hugged him there, still sitting, pressing her face against his chest and snaking her arms around his neck. He made her feel so secure in his strong, muscular yet gentle arms.
“If this is a dream, I don't want to wake up” Kili whispered against her hair. “Because knowing that you love me will never feel real”
“My love for you is as real as the stars and the sky”
They both laid on the moss covered floor, surrounded by fallen leaves. A gentle and cold breeze blew around them as the dark night carried on as if nothing had happened. As if an elf and a dwarf hadn't just declared their love for each other.
The uncertainty around their love could be discussed at another moment but that particular moment in time was reserved for sweet kisses, tight hugs and small smiles.
"I'm going to show you a fire moon one day" he whispered, caressing his cheek against hers.
She smiled happily. His story of the firemoon he had once seen was a very fond memory. She had stayed the entire night by his cell simply conversing with him. He spoke of his adventures with such riveting excitement that she had felt as if she had been there.
"Don't forget the caverns. You must take me there too" she breathed as their tongues came together again for a searing meeting.
"And the waterfall too" he murmured and then they became lost in each other once again.
