“And then fuckin’ Deku stepped in, tears streaming down his stupid face, and told me that I’m not as much of a bastard as I think. The fuck does that mean? Who does he think he is?”
Kirishima stifled a laugh as Bakugou ranted. Deku, who the redhead had yet to meet, was Bakugou’s childhood best friend who apparently was a bit of a crybaby and drove Bakugou absolutely insane, if the blonde was to be believed. But Kirishima knew him better than most, and could read into the carefully hidden affection in his tone, the protectiveness that came out whenever he mentioned Deku’s ‘shitstain father’ or their history together, or Deku’s quirklessness.
Kirishima imagined Deku as a real little brother type, kinda whiny and following around Bakugou like a lost puppy, as Bakugou protected him from the world. It was a cute mental picture. Besides, Bakugou would make an adorable big brother type.
“So naturally I had to fuckin' smack the dumbass upside the head -- I mean c’mon, you’re gonna rat me out to my fucking mom? Grow up.”
Definitely a brotherly relationship.

“I saw Kacchan this weekend, he brought me food, which was really sweet of him. He never thinks I eat enough, which I do, he’s just protective. I really do want you to meet Kacchan, Shoto, he’s a little rough around the edges but I want you guys to get along!”
Todoroki tilted his head, a small smile ghosting around the corners of his lips as his Midoriya babbled about his friend from childhood, Kacchan. Midoriya was always saying that he wanted Todoroki and Kacchan to meet, even mentioning that Kacchan also went to U.A., but Todoroki had never heard the name before.
They seemed to be close, as little as Todoroki knew about the levels of friendship. Midoriya definitely adored Kacchan, and based off of the stories, Kacchan was very protective and caring in return, if a little hotheaded. It was also made clear that Kacchan’s quirk was ‘absolutely amazing’, even if Todoroki never figured out what it was before Midoriya started mumbling too quickly for him to decipher it.
Todoroki was interested in meeting Kacchan. He imagined someone who was sweet like Midoriya, with a protective streak and the ability to always watch the green-haired boy, something he definitely needed. Maybe a foul mouth, considering Midoriya always called him ‘rough’, but nothing too severe.
“And then he let out this steady stream of profanity that would make a sailor blush, and the guy ran off! It was super cool.”
Okay, maybe a really foul mouth.

In Kirishima’s defense, they had been left alone in the common room. That’s why he had one hand up the back of Bakugou’s shirt and his mouth on his neck, leaving a mark that would last at least two weeks, Bakugou whining from underneath him and tugging on his hair, ruining the style.
It was hot, so Kirishima let him.
“Hey.”
“
Fuck!
” Kirishima yelped, falling off of the couch and hitting the ground with a thud. His head whipped around to see Todoroki standing there, his usual blank look on his face, entirely unbothered by what he had walked in on. “Dude!”
“It’s the common area,” Todoroki said slowly, squinting at Kirishima.
“The fuck do you want, IcyHot?” Bakugou spat, tugging his shirt back into place but not making any effort to hide the mark on his throat, the shameless bastard.
“My boyfriend is visiting. Mr. Aizawa said it was okay.” Todoroki tilted his head. “Where is everyone?”
“All the girls are having a girls day out at the mall, Denki, Shinsou, and Sero are in Denki’s room trying to make an epic blanket fort, Sato, Shouji, and Tokoyami are in Tokoyami’s room because he’s trying to convert them to emo music, and Aoyama and Iida are on a date,” Kirishima rattled off. “You have a boyfriend?”
“Yes,” Todoroki said. “You can meet him, but you have to be nice, or I’ll freeze you.”
Kirishima laughed, but it trailed off awkwardly when Toroki’s face didn’t change in the slightest.
“How the hell do you have a boyfriend?” Bakugou asked, astonished. “I didn’t even think you had real fucking feelings, like I’m pretty sure you’re a robot.”
“Katsuki!” Kirishima hissed, but Todoroki just shrugged.
“He makes me feel things,” he said simply. Kirishima cooed, but before any more questions could be asked, there was a rapid-fire knock at the door. “That’s him, Bakugou, please be nice.”
“I’m always nice, damnit,” Bakugou sneered, and Todoroki rolled his eyes before going to let in his boyfriend.
“Hi Shoto!” Midoriya said as the door opened, practically vibrating from excitement as he beamed sunnily at his boyfriend. “So this is U.A., huh? That’s so cool. Do you think I can meet some of your teachers or is that weird? That’s weird, isn’t it? It would be so cool though. I bet your classmates are so cool too!”
Bakugou, on the couch, sat straight up. “You’re fucking kidding me,” he muttered, ignoring Kirishima sending him a confused look. Instead, he just crossed his arms over his chest, waiting for Todoroki to let his boyfriend inside.
Todoroki said “I think I could manage that,” and kissed Midoriya on the forehead before letting him in. “Izuku, these are two of my classmates.”
“Oh no,” Midoriya all but whispered when he caught sight of Bakugou.
Bakugou looked unimpressed. “IcyHot, huh? You’re dating fucking IcyHot?”
Midoriya giggled nervously, turning to Todoroki. “We need to leave immediately.”
Todoroki and Kirishima exchanged confused glances, but before anyone could ask a question, Bakugou's lips curled into a dangerous smile. “Oh no, we need to have a conversation first,” he said, saccharine sweet. “Come on and sit, shitty Deku.”
Kirishima gasped. “Oh god, you’re Deku! And you’re dating Todoroki!” He paused. “Wow, no wonder tension is so high right now. Well nice to meet you, I’m Kirishima!” He smiled brightly and offered his hand.
Midoriya blinked, before smiling back and accepting the handshake. “Nice to meet you! I’m Midoriya, he’s the only one who calls me Deku and it's to be mean to me.”
“You’re the worst,” Kirishima admonished Bakugou lightly.
“You two...know each other?” Todoroki said slowly, tilting his head like a lost puppy.
“You could say that,” Bakugou said, looking at Todoroki with clear disdain. “You think you’re good enough for my shitty Deku?”
“Oh god,” Midoriya groaned, burying his face in his hands. “Kacchan, please don’t do this.”
“Kacchan,” Todoroki said blankly. “Bakugou is your Kacchan?”
“I didn’t realize you guys were in the same class,” Midoriya moaned.
“Maybe if you didn’t use that stupid fucking nickname all the time, you would’ve figured it out,” Bakugou said. “Now answer my damn question IcyHot, why shouldn’t I kill you?”
Todoroki shrugged. “Because I’d kill you first.”
“Oh god.”
“They’re always like this,” Kirishima stage-whispered as Bakugou and Todoroki began silently glaring at each other. “I don’t envy you being right in the middle of it, that's battle territory right there. I normally get in between them, but honestly I don’t want to right now.”
Midoriya let out a strangled laugh. “I don’t blame you.” He looked up from his hands, looking at Bakugou despairingly, before his eyes narrowed. “Kacchan, is that a hickey?”
Bakugou broke his eye contact with Todoroki, blinking at Midoriya before scowling. “No,” he said a beat too late, and Kirishima flushed bright red as Midoriya gasped.
“Oh my god! You hypocrite!” he yelped. He turned to Kirishima with wide eyes. “Did you do that?”
“Maybe?” Kirishima said, scratching the back of his neck. “Are you gonna yell at me?”
“No, no, I’m not gonna yell,” Midoriya said. A calculating look took over his face. “But Kacchan, if you don’t leave Shoto alone, then I will tell Auntie Mitsuki that you have a boyfriend, since I doubt you’ve told her.”
“You little shit,” Bakugou hissed. “I could tell Auntie Inko about IcyHot, you brat, two can play at this game.”
“We had lunch last Saturday,” Midoriya said triumphantly. “I have the upper hand Kacchan, you better behave,” he sang, and Bakugou growled under his breath.
“Don’t make me smack you, Deku,” he hissed, before turning back to Todoroki. “I’ll behave. For now.”
Todoroki blinked. “Good job, Izuku,” he said after a long pause. Midoriya beamed.
“Thanks Shoto!”
“What the hell did I just witness?” asked Kirishima.
“Welcome to the family,” Midoriya said solemnly, before giggling at the dark look on Bakugou’s face.
Kirishima nodded absently, before frowning. “Wait, your mom doesn’t know about me?”
