Summary
There is supposedly a vampyre in Sussex and Sherlock is asked to make sense of it. John Watson, his dearest friend and associate, his lover and mate, and a lycanthropist, is reluctant to investigate. The origin of vampyres is a hard-kept secret, one of the few he still has. Nothing can stay secret for long, however, when one's mate is a master sleuth and lacks self-preservation skills.

Instead of unmaking the Corinthian for his crimes, Morpheus shows some mercy. Of a sort:
The King of Nightmares leans over him and kisses him on his peach lips. “I have missed you, my little dream, despite your many and unforgivable crimes. And so you have a choice. You can exist here as you are right now for my pleasure and mine alone, or I shall unmake you completely.”
“Hard to believe I get a choice at all,” the Corinthian drawls.No worries, the Corinthian is happiest when his king uses him.

Summary
The King of Nightmares finally loses his patience with being the star of Hob Gadling's wet dreams. He visits his dear "friend" and turns his unconscious fantasy into a horrific nightmare. Unintentionally, his ghastly form draws the lustful attention of his most beloved creation.

Summary
The Cereal Convention does not end with Dream telling the Corinthian that he is disappointed in him. It ends with forgiveness and a request for second chances. Dream is going to bring his little nightmare home, hand in hand.
