    Being Ahsoka can be hard so she becomes someone else for a while. The name is always different but the persona is always the same, someone who is lonely and has lost everything and everyone. Someone who is looking for a bit of warmth on a cold night.

    One night, she encounters a woman that looks like someone from her past and she can't pass her up. Fortunately for her, the woman wants her too. She turns out to actually be someone from her past, one of Padmé's handmaidens, Sabé. What starts off as a one night stand ends up with Ahsoka gaining an old family, one she never thought she'd get to have, let alone keep.

    (Or: Sabé takes Ahsoka to Alderaan and she meets Leia.)

    “Forgive me,” Obi-Wan begs, his voice worn and unbecoming from the abuse, and his body is fractured—not only from the time spent with Vader—but the time spent without him, too. A cruel life on Tatooine is shown through Obi-Wan's ribs, through refracted light which come between the bone, through his sallow skin which wraps around hollow cheeks.

    “Forgive me, Anakin,” he says again, gazing into the holes where he thinks Vader's eyes might be. Beneath the obsidian and the durasteel Obi-Wan imagines no earthly body to be left, only sparks of the burgeoning fire, some sluggish dregs of a Mustafar birth.

    “Anakin is not here,” Vader replies, “he cannot give you absolution.”

    The fire is Vader’s mother, and Obi-Wan’s greatest sin is bringing him home to her. To consume, to become, and so he did. And now here he is, fully matured into his godhood. As much glorious as he is terrifying, the pillar incites devotion eternal to all who can behold him in truth, and Obi-Wan is truthful above all others. He is Vader's most venerated apostate, returning.
