Summary
Four years after the passing of Sozin's Comet and the end of the war, Zuko's continuously bombarded with reminders that he needs to marry soon, and his advisors would rather he marry a foriegn royal. They claim it's in the interest of unity and diplomacy, but after the Siege of the North, it seems like the only royal family left is the Earth Kingdom, who happens to be the recipients of the largest portion of the Fire Nation's reparation. It's painfully clear they just want to lessen the "senseless" economic drain.
But Zuko's stuck under their thumb, they've issue an ultimatum that they won't move forward with any other projects until there is a Fire Consort to "run the house".
He'd long been resigned to the fact that love wouldn't be a factor in his marriage, but when it's revealed that prior to the Siege of the North Sokka married Yue, and became a prince himself, the Something More he'd kept buried for their whole friendship bubbles up into stupid hope.Beta red by Emrys and Sab

Summary
There was a giggle. But it was not from Katara. Or even Aang.
Sokka’s head snapped over to Zuko, who looked just as shocked as Sokka felt. His cheeks were cherry-red and he had a hand clapped over his mouth. “Did you just laugh?” Sokka asked. Just to make sure his ears still worked.
Zuko spluttered, his cheeks darkening. “What—no! Why would I ever—I mean, what is laughing?” And then, “Your jokes suck anyway!”
OR
Sokka accidentally makes Zuko laugh during one of their fights. He takes it upon himself to continue making Zuko laugh in their future encounters, just as a "distraction tactic."

Summary
The people need more of Zuko being a clueless, emotional, desperate bottom. And I'm going to give it to them.
Zuko loves Sokka, but is being a huge weenie about it. Sokka obviously loves him too, and he might have a few tricks up his sleeve to get a certain grumpy Fire Lord to finally cave. Takes place five years after the end of the war.
Takes a bit to get to E, but when it gets there, it gets there.

Summary
Zuko accidentally finds a collection of poems written by Sokka, and he's not sure whether to be more upset that Sokka would throw his poems away or that said poems are what sounds like all the makings of a tragic love affair.

Summary
"I'm really sorry, man, but I think I'm gonna have to kiss you," Sokka says, matter-of-factly, as if that's just something you say to your friends when you plot insurrection with them in supply closets.
Or, The Boiling Rock goes a little differently.
