Summary
It’s been six months since the battle with Death, and for a while, things have been almost stable. Almost peaceful. The new village of Belmont has begun to grow, the Hold is open (and the staircase repaired), and while there are still parts of the castle that Alucard keeps locked away, it’s mostly open to the people.
In short, rebuilding--actual rebuilding, a concerted effort--is well underway.
But lately, there has been an increase in night creature attacks, just slightly too frequent to be truly random. And, while Trevor is back on his feet and once more playing an active role in defense, Sypha’s pregnancy is advanced enough that she has to stay close to home.
And, with the worst possible timing, something has begun to interfere with Alucard’s ability to heal himself...

In the last days of the Clone Wars, Anakin Skywalker goes missing, and is presumed dead. When Order 66 is given and the Empire rises, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Padme Amidala go into hiding in the Outer Rim, to mourn their lost partner, raise their children, and lay the foundations of a movement that will bring the Empire down; Ahsoka Tano, elsewhere, drifts around the fringes of the galaxy, doing what she can to fight back.
Seven years later, Obi-Wan and Padme, Ahsoka, and a still very much alive Anakin infiltrate the same Imperial facility on the same day. This is the story of what happens next; of how they build on that moment of reconnection, on the love that was still there, to find their way home after seven years alone in the dark.
