“Why not?” Todoroki asks, tilting his face to the side slightly, looking at Bakugou with large eyes, bright and different coloured, and under the yellow of the street lights Todoroki's face is warmer, features even softer. And Bakugou is very certain that Todoroki knows what that head tilting thing does to Bakugou's heart, because it is always deployed so strategically—it could not be a coincidence every single time.

Summary
Bakugou is thoughtful in such strange ways, Todoroki realises again. It is not something one realises easily—unless they focus. Often, it takes time and effort to stick around Bakugou long enough to recognise the passive-aggressive kindness he hides along the rough edges of his explosive personality. Kirishima used to say that back when they were in high school and Todoroki always thought he was correct; he was not nearly as close to Bakugou at all but he had always been highly observant, especially of Bakugou.

Summary
Drabbles and ficlets from that canon-compliant future AU where all the kiddos are now very much adults and pro-heroes and Bakugou and Todoroki have something. Something. Surely more physically intimate than friendship, emotionally complex yet rather fragile, and not officially romantic, or anything specific, per se. It is there though and it grows.
