"Noe is a miracle worker, isn’t he?" Vlad continues, palm just above her own. "I promise it'll feel so good, Laia. I've wanted to touch you for centuries. And Leo is eager to help."
She drops her fork, and it rattles against the porcelain plate, a shrill noise for such a quiet day. Vlad chuckles darkly.
"You are exquisite."
Laia doesn’t get the courage to speak until he sits back down at the head of the table. Even then, her voice is so rough with desire that her first try is broken, making Leo raise his eyebrow in a tease. She clears her throat and composes herself.
She can play their game twice as well."Won't it be unladylike?" she challenges, gaze firm on Vlad's face. After all, it was Vlad who protested and almost made Noe drop the idea.
Vlad acquiesces with a curious nod. "No. I was merely trying to protect your honor."
This time, it's Laia's turn to grin.
"I'd rather you ripped it to pieces."

Or: Noe doesn't really want Laia to keel over because she's too horny to free his best friend of the curse, so he gets a good, no - excellent, idea.

They play her music, and dim the lights. A wisp of smoke curls in the air, and then she steps on the stage. The bar is all velvet and fantasies, and she melts into the scene with want already pooling in her belly.
And he’s always there.
He never speaks. Never moves.
But as soon as she steps on the stage, he sets his drink down and shifts to get a better view.
She’s the only one he watches dance, and because he does it with reverence, she dances for him.
