perhaps one of the best, highest-quality works i've ever had the pleasure of reading on this site?? the author has a style that is reverent and vast and somewhat reminiscent to me of barbara kingsolver -- in awe of the natural world, descriptive and scientific, all without being pretentious. the characterization was spectacular, the dialogue quite honestly could have been in the original show, and it all revealed a side of sherlock and john that had previously only existed in the hopeful depths of my mind. forgive me for the flowery review, i'm feeling quite inspired after finishing this. ta!
