Hermione always has nightmares of the time when Bellatrix tortured her, it hurts but she’s used to it, the same dream over and over.
But one night her dream changes, Draco Malfoy runs to her side, killing Bellatrix and picking her up in his arms. Storm grey eyes meet chocolate brown and the dream ends.It is the best nights sleep Hermione has had since the night before Bill and Fleur’s wedding three years ago.

When Draco manages to sleep at night, his dreams are filled with the sound and image of one Hermione Granger screaming while his aunt tortures her mercilessly.
Usually, he can’t do anything to help, his feet stuck in place, leaving him either to stare or to turn away and let his cheeks wet.
This time, however, as he pushes against the boundaries of his nightmare, he is allowed through, and he can feel it. an unspoken curse flings his aunt across the marble floor, dead. When Draco runs and cradles the crying girl in his arms, he manages one glance in her glassy eyes and the dream is over.Draco hasn’t slept this well in five years, since the inquisitorial squad with Umbridge.
