Summary
How do you grieve a life you can't remember? How do you ache for something you've never known? You watch the course of grief on your allies' faces as they reconcile everything they've lost, and everything they've gained in turn.
Beneath the dark shadows cast by the Lady of Loss, you learn what it means to grieve. Only then, can you find the strength to move forward. In the darkest shadows, you find a beacon of light.
You leap into Karlach’s arms nearly before she’s even turned to face you.
“Careful, soldier!” Karlach laughs into your ear, voice wet. “You’ll get burned!”
You burrow your face into the warmth of Karlach’s neck. “You’re worth burning for.”

Summary
Astarion stares down his nose with that familiar haughty glare. “I suppose that makes us even, now.”
You search his face, trying to find the missing piece that will make the puzzle take shape. You think of what little he’s told you about his life before this strange journey of yours. A cruel master that delighted in his pain and two hundred years of being brought to heel.
It comes to you in a dizzying rush. “You think I left you there as punishment.”
Astarion accidentally, kinda-sorta drains your blood and leaves you for dead. Three weeks later, you drop a monastery on him. You refuse to let the story end there.

Summary
For the unlife of him, Astarion could not imagine why this painting had Tav so transfixed. There wasn't anything wrong with it, artistically speaking. The figures were lifelike enough, the colors blended well, the brushstrokes... well, they were there and they were doing something aesthetically pleasing, presumably. Astarion admittedly hadn't paid much attention to the gallery owner's rambling about the various artistic techniques on show. He wasn't here for an art lesson. He was here to look at some salacious pictures, sip a little wine, eavesdrop on all the delightfully disgusting whispers of the other patrons, and whisk Tav back to the inn for a good ravishing.
But Tav had wandered off.
To this.
(Or: Astarion finds a forgotten painting of himself from his time as Cazador's slave. It's horrible. Now he has to deal with the trauma.)

Summary
Tav and crew have just solved the haunting of the Jannath Estate. Oskar Fevras, celebrated painter, owes them the payment he promised back when they first freed him from the Zhentarim, but instead of gold he's offered his creative services. Not a bad deal, considering his renown. A portrait by him could fetch a very handsome sum. But what if there was something priceless to be gained, instead? Tav wonders if this is an opportunity for Astarion to finally, after two centuries, see a "reflection" of himself.
Loosely based on the positive resolution of the "Free the Artist" quest in Act 3. I've lifted a few lines, massaged others, and added a whole lot of my own brainrot.

Summary
Cazador was known for extreme punishments, but this? This was truly excessive. Hollowing out his bones, really? Still, Astarion was obligated to continue on, crippling chronic pain be damned. He had a life to live and a master to serve, whether or not his knees had cartilige was irrelevant. He'd been through enough to tough out the occasional broken bone.
AKA the long-term effects of my headcanon in the format of interaction additions to the main game
(I stg its so much sweeter than the tags and description make it sound. It has all the elements, but it's a lot more about how this would affect his interactions w/ The Squid Squad™. And its mostly set up like a series of interconnected oneshots, so if you just want a specific part, you can probably find it by reading the chapter titles and finding the one you want.)
